I'm curious about this story!! I would love to hear more about the main four characters if you don't mind :)
Of course!!! What good is this sideblog if I can’t rant about my ocs?!
K so lets start with Foster Salcedo, my mc. Like the other characters in The Nighttime Express he is seventeen. He is perhaps not your typical hero type and he’s not really a leader either. That role kinda goes to Grey and a bit to Bora I think. Foster is totally cool being a follower and taking on the responsibilities designated to him. Unlike Grey he really does not remember what his latest memory was. He just remembers being in high school and going to class and worrying about his grades and all of a sudden ending up on the train.
Grey Jaskolski. I was originally going to call him Zachary actually but his middle name at the time- Grey- just stuck with me tbh. The last thing he remembers is driving to a high school party. He’s the one in the group who takes action and figures out the next step for sure.
Vasudha Khatri. She’s really quiet and reclusive. She’s built up a habit of keeping to herself but now that her life’s kind of life or death and because she’s found great friendships with Grey, Foster, and Bora she’s been able to open up more and dig a bit into who she is and who she wants to be.
Bora Pyon. Bora’s instinct is to fight. So she and Grey are kind of the offence while Vasudha and Foster make up more of the defence. She’s pretty chill and really looks out for Vasudha and helps her out with her confidence.
I’m still fleshing out the characters but I hope this gives you a better sense of what the four of them are like! Thanks for the ask!!

@thedemigodoffandoms sent me this lovely message. Thanks Hayley you don’t know what you just got yourself into. Literally made this sideblog to rant about this wip lol so of course I want to. Thought I’d explain in a post in case I pique anyone else's interest!
Foster Salcedo finds himself on a train with no recollection of purchasing a ticket nor boarding. He has no idea how he got on all he knows is that he has to get off. In the beginning, the only other passenger as freaked as he is is another teen, Grey Jaskolski. The last thing Grey remembers is driving to a party with his best friend. They definitely shouldn’t be here. When the train is revealed to be something from their worst nightmares, they join forces to find a way off the train and back home. Along the way they also meet two other teens, Vasudha and Bora, you might have seen both mentioned on this blog already. Overall, it’s a somewhat creepy, fantasy/supernatural wip of mine that I hope to finish one day.
If you want to read the first chapter you should join the WIP book club! Send me a message with your email and I’ll get you added to the slack group right away :)
If you have any questions about The Nighttime Express feel free to send me an ask or message! I would love to gush about this.

I tried to draw Grey but he ended up looking a little too young. (Plus I can never seem to get that kind of a hairstyle right near the fringe).
