Part of me is glad that Melanie Martinez isn't making a movie for Portals because the music videos proceeding DEATH and VOID don't really have a whole lot to them - just dancing. K-12 was full of choreography, but it was all connected to the plot which I'm not seeing happen with Portals...and I'm also not really seeing a plot past DEATH and VOID anyways. I just watched FAERIE SOIRÉE's music video and I was kind of disappointed, lost and bored. I think instead of giving us a music video for every song like she did with Crybaby and K-12, she should've gone the traditional route and did the singles because she's wasting her budget on DANCE VIDEOS with the same wavy arm, finger waggles, inflatable tube man moves and jaw movements. Love her, but girl put the budget elsewhere.

Nicki Minaj sure as hell played a role in getting Megan Thee Stallion's HISS to #1, but if we're going to sit here and say that- we have to also talk about how goofy and stupid she was for doing that. Nicki could come out and gloat about the effect she had on HISS, but you know damn well she'd be punching the walls internally because that wasn't intentional charity. It goes both ways around here.
