Earth represents strength, grounding, prosperity, the material, wealth, success, foundations, death and rebirth. Focus on this element if the goal of your spell is about fertility, prosperity, business or stability. Earth spells may take longer to work, but they’re also more firm and are good if you’re looking for long-term solutions.
GENDER: Feminine SEASON: Winter DIRECTION: North HOUR: Night

Air represents intellect and the mind, wisdom, knowledge; logic as well as abstract thought, intuition and higher consciousness. If you’re seeking freedom, travels, or to enhance your memory and focus - focus on Air spells! Air is whimsical and amiable, personally I haven’t found it useful for more serious spells, but it does wonders for my studies.
GENDER: Masculine SEASON: Spring DIRECTION: East HOUR: Dawn
COLOURS: Yellow, White, Sky Blue, Pastels ANIMALS: Birds, Spiders, Butterflies HERBS/PLANTS: Lavender, Birch, Vervain, Dill, Aspen INSTRUMENTS: Flute (Wind instruments)
STAR SIGNS: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius STONES/GEMS: Amethyst, Opal, Alexandrite, Beryl RITUAL TOOLS: Incense, Wand RITUAL FORMS: Fanning, Tossing into air, Suspending in a high place  TAROT SUIT: Swords

Fire represents energy, passion, purification, love, inspiration, desire, will, courage, power, leadership, sexuality. In spellcraft, focusing on Fire is good for purification, healing and love spells; it’s the best element for quick, strong spells. Although, Fire is fierce in essence, and Fire spells are susceptible - they should be well thought out.
GENDER: Masculine SEASON: Summer DIRECTION: South HOUR: Noon
COLOURS: Red, Orange, Gold ANIMALS: Snakes, Lions, Horses HERBS/PLANTS: Cacti, Cinnamon, Pepper, Basil INSTRUMENTS: Guitar (Stringed instruments)
STAR SIGNS: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius STONES/GEMS: Amber, Citrine, Ruby, Tiger’s Eye RITUAL TOOLS: Athame, Candles RITUAL FORMS: Burning, Smouldering, Heating TAROT SUIT: Wands

Water represents purification as well; though it’s focused more on the soul and the subconscious rather than the physical, material world. Water stands for emotion, intuition, wisdom, eternal movement, reflection, lunar energy. Focusing on the Water element is good for psychic abilities, getting in tune with your inner self, mysteries, friendships, love, dreams and sleep.
GENDER: Feminine SEASON: Autumn DIRECTION: West HOUR: Dusk
COLOURS: Blue, Indigo, Silver ANIMALS: Otters, Fish, Sea Mammals, Frogs HERBS/PLANTS: Lotus, Water Lilies, Aloe, Gardenia INSTRUMENTS: Cymbal, Bell (Resonant instruments)
STAR SIGNS: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces STONES/GEMS: Moonstone, Aquamarine, Pearl RITUAL TOOLS: Cauldrons, Chalices, Seashells RITUAL FORMS: Diluting, Placing into water, washing away, bathing TAROT SUIT: Cups

Announcing: Looking Glass Rose
Hello everyone. I am pleased to announce that I will soon be opening this blog for some preliminary business. What is this, you might ask? It is simply going to be a place for me to offer readings and devotionals, as part of the Covenhearth business.
Those who have been on the siren-and-the-sidhe Discord will know me as Sakinthra (Saki). I have been doing personal energy work and readings for some time, and have recently branched out to offer to close friends. With this blog, I will be fully opening my services to the public in order to practice and hone my craft.
What to expect of the blog:
Right now, all of my services will be for free. This is because most of these services will be for practice until I am confident that my readings are accurate and satisfactory to those who request them. Since this will be my first time offering to strangers, I provide the disclaimer that I cannot guarantee my readings will be accurate.  I will also be doing my best to post resources I find onto this blog for your reference. As I learn, I would like to help others learn. Finally…this will admittedly be somewhat of an aesthetic blog as well. If I see something that reminds me of my practice or a deity, I will probably post it. Expect to see a lot of moon imagery. Who I work with: My major deity I refer to as Cierce. (Not to be confused with Circe.) What I know of her is that she embodies the moon, winter, and protection. What I also know of her is that I cannot offer any record of her in history, only the word of mouth of others who have experienced her presence.
I have also worked with other, more well-known deities. (Primarily Loki, though I have experienced the energies of Hecate, Dionysus, Apollon, Lucifer, and others.) I am open to working with just about anyone.
What I will be offering:
1, 2, and 3 card readings, both oracle and tarot. (I have one primary oracle deck as well as three tarot decks.) As these are free readings, I will choose the deck that I feel will best be able to answer your question. In the future, I may allow requests for a specific deck for your questions.
One paragraph energy readings. These may be personal, or I can look into a spirit or deity that you feel may be trying to communicate with you. These readings may include imagery, spoken word, metaphor, or all three.
Devotional hymns, prayers, and prose. I will be taking very few of these requests as I am still working on finding my voice for these, but if inspiration hits me for a particular deity you request, I will of course fulfill it.
I hope to be able to provide examples of all of these services soon.
Additional Notes:
I have put a link to my Ko-Fi on this page, in case my work pleases you and you would like to leave a tip. However, as of right now I would prefer that your generosities go to a person more in need. Serai’s pupper is in need of a major surgery, and as I love them both dearly, I would much rather see the money go to them, and anything I make from my Ko-Fi will probably go towards them anyway. (So really, it would be better for your generosity to just go to there anyway. :P)
I would greatly appreciate reviews of my work, as it will help me learn and grow when it comes to my craft.
If you have any questions for me, feel free to shoot me an ask or send a message my way. I will try to be as prompt as possible about communication.
Thank you, and I look forward to working with you.

This is the full version of my blog icon. The goal was to use some symbology from multiple elemental systems across the world. The Kanji are the Japanese characters for the Godai Elements (Water, Fire, Earth, Air, and Quintessence/Void) with a sixth character (Life/Ki) at the bottom to represent my own connection with the rest. They are organized in opposing forces via a traditional hexagram representing the Seal of Solomon, which is the origin of the triangular elemental symbols most commonly used in the west. The last two symbols are Alchemical ones: The central symbol represents elemental unity, and the snakes around the outer edge form an Ouroboros to represent the creative and cycle of nature that surround the elements. There may also be a transparent periodic table photoshopped in because I’m a nerd like that.
