inspired by my late night urge to rewatch The Suicide Squad and make myself fucking miserable

Starting off, their lil moment in the plane. A great showing of how far their relationship has come since SS.

Her being late and loudly announcing herself could be counted as “vexing”, but he’s unphased by her.

And her lil salute and “Flag” when she passes by him. 🥰 Idk why but I love the way she says it. I just love how Margot says some words KDNSKS

The entire plane scene is honestly my favorite part in the movie. I adore Harley and Boomer fucking with the squad skdjksks

and Harley’s just so pretty and the lighting just mwah She :’)

And him following her when she moved across the beach. There was no reason he needed to do that, she’s fully capable of taking care of herself.

And just their reaction to watching TDK’s power skdjksks

I like to imagine that when their cover got blown up some when Savant was looking around they like covered each other with their bodies :’)

I really do wonder how they got separated, so she was able to be captured and he got into the forest, they were the last ones alive and somehow they fought enough so she was able to get onto the other side of the beach and he was able to escape.

Also, at this point Waller and her crew have found Flag, meaning they assumedly believe Harley’s dead at this point.

As here’s no reason Waller wouldn’t have detonated her neck bomb if she knew she was in the hands of the enemy.

Also, Harley deserved to be in the club scene with them 😭 a crime

she’d'a called Flag cowboy cause of his dorky hat and flirted with him and we were so fucking robbed will not shut up about it

I like to think they talked about her at some point during their lil moment in the club :’)

Also, Bloodsport 100% noticed Flag’s reaction to Harley being alive :’))))))

and like the second Flag found out she was alive (and they weren’t being held hostage) he halted their entire operation to go save her.

She’s the last surviving member of his team. These people have never met her, there is no “we don’t leave one of our own behind” for them because she’s not, they don’t know her.

Waller wouldn’t care either.

Flag is the one who took over and said no, we’re going to get Harley.

She was right to believe no one was going to help her, no one was.

Except Flag.

imma pretend i figured out what that means cause google was of no help, but it seems like it means he’s determined and it’s best not to try n fight him about it ? 

Bloodsport and him were already friends from before, he can tell when something’s important to him and when they’re not gonna be able to talk him out of something.

“hopefully Harley’s still alive”

And he was risking everything, the mission, their lives, on the slim chance she was alive. Even if she was in bad shape and wouldn’t be useful during the mission, even if she was in critical condition and wouldn’t survive. He was going after her.

I’ve already ranted about their “you were gonna save me” moment skdjsks so I won’t do it again but I noticed

1. He’s surprised by how long she holds on, and after they’ve talked about her weapon he quietly says “okay, okay,” while stroking her back with his gun.

2. “you two alright, yeah?”

LITERALLY THE ONLY REASON FLAG DIDN’T FULLY HUG HER WAS CAUSE BLOODSPORT DISTRACTED THEM HE WAS GOING TO,,, HE WAS MOVING HIS HAND TO HUG HER FULLY AND SHE PULLED AWAY TO INTRODUCE HERSELF

He’s also not surprised by her random outburst during their team meeting. They/He is already aware that she was tortured when she was being held captive, they mentioned that when he found out she was alive.

Her nose is still bleeding some when they’re walking during this scene, it’s most noticeable during her dialogue. She’s cleaned up some, but she’s still injured.

ALSO HIS SMILE HE LOVES HER AND HE’S JUST HAPPY SHE’S SAFE AND ALIVE IM GONNA SOB
