Working on my writers journal. I keep a digital form but I like the idea of an analog version to keep some of the basic information I’ve researched through the years. A messy, pen and paper version that I can look back at.

Spending a bit of my time reading Edgar Allen Poe. I’ve also begun studying him & his life.

I’ve been thinking of doing this for a while now. Creativity has always been a thing. Fantasy stories have interested me, role-playing has always peaked my interest. Yet somewhere along the way, I lost myself in the need to pay bills. The first real paying job killed my inspiration - and took all my time. My new paying job has given me most of my time back, and allowed me the energy to return to what I love.
This blog is for me, a place to showcase my journey from beginning (or near-beginning) to the end. Wherever that may be.
The map is rough but it’s supposed to be. I’m too much of a perfectionist that I see the imperfections. I do want to fix it. Now - before moving on with the story; with the world. I am fixating on the beauty of a well-done map. You know those maps - the ones in front of a fantasy book. Yeah. I’m fixating on wanting that… when I know it won’t really be done till the world is created & the story written.
Isn’t our own world always evolving?
So, I decided to share a bit of this creative mess. And see where this takes me.
