I think MJ would be a curious Khoravar scooping out stories for the Sharn Inquisitive, along with Peter. Not sure if I’d give her a different, more Khoravar-y name though.

i'm reading up about warforged again and i'm getting emotional

warforged that bond with adventurers because they miss the familiarity of working in a group and receiving orders (quests)

warforged that are overwhelmed with suddenly being responsible for their own lives, after being freed from those who decided everything for them

warforged that want to do good work but are exploited by their employers, and still hated by their coworkers for displacing them and reminding them of the war

religious warforged that find a new home in a group that loves them unconditionally for who they are, not for what they can do

depressed warforged that don't know what to do and cannot die naturally

clumsy warforged that want to craft and make art, but don't have a sense of culture yet

beloved warforged that receive ornaments for their bodies by friends and children

i love warforged so much

I’ve been thinking a while about my two favorite things (Eberron and Spider-Man) and I think they would actually fit together very well. Consider:

Peter Parker, a human working for the Sharn Inquisitive, is bitten by a magebred spider that escaped a secret House Vadalis facility

Swinging around Sharn would be absolutely perfect and a great way of traversing the vertical city

JJJ is now a gnome named G Gnomah Gnomeson (or alternatively, J Jonah Jorasco) and the head of the Sharn Inquisitve. He still has just as much rage, just packed into a smaller frame

Black Cat is a high-society swiftstride shifter burglar with a 30s-femme-fatale vibe

Venom was another reporter for the Sharn Inquisitive who found a Daelkyr symbiont in the lower wards which bonded with him

Green Goblin is a ghaal’dar of the Heirs of Dhakaan with talent in artifice and uses it to terrorize the people of Sharn, who built their city on old Dhakaani ruins

Vulture is a fallen aasimar (or an aasimar of Mabar)

I think I might continue making ideas for this universe in the future, or maybe some art?

My art of a DnD Halfling and Warforged!

Here's a short story about them:

This duo determined who won in battles past, always siding with the king that paid the most. Since there’s been mostly peace in the land they have resorted to taking up smaller problems. The difference in payout is certainly less, but what they miss the most is carnage and the excitement they felt laying waste to countless armies. She got her frightening temper from her father. Ever since his death, her rage knows no bounds. With an extensive rotating escalator of the rarest tomes, practically nothing keeps them in check.

Eberron Character Ideas Pt. 2

A woman washes up on shore, bleeding badly from her head, and is nursed back to health in a nearby town. She has no memory of who she was or what happened, but she instinctively hides the gills on her torso. Little does she know she’s a sahuagin Malenti -- but when she remembers this, will she decide to stay with the adventuring party she’s come to know as family, or will she complete her mission?

A changeling lived as a servant to a noble for years, until one day, the noble suddenly died of a heart attack in the privacy of her chambers, and the changeling took their chance to assume her identity and live a life much better than the servant’s life they had eked out prior. Their deception was flawless, and they only ever told one other person about it -- their brother. However, years later when they had a falling out, their brother fled, and swore to get revenge on his sibling. The changeling now adventures in search of their brother, determined to tie up the one loose thread that could unravel their entire life.

A girl once dreamed of becoming a paladin of Dol Arrah, until one day, a thief killed both her parents while invading her home. In that vulnerable moment, the Shadow reached out to her and offered her power, and she accepted. She killed the thief and started her career as a dark vigilante. Now, years later as a young woman, she tracks down and kills criminals with shadowy magic all across Khorvaire.
