Ah that's so sweet! You should try then write what she's down about and why she shouldn't be (if appropriate). You could also look towards old Shakespearen love sonnets when it comes to inspiration (I don't know many modern day love poems.)((oops)) and lastly remember that you are the poet and therefore can do anything you want with your structure, rhyme, tone etc. Good luck!

I normally write poems when I'm super moody so this may not be the best advice, I also usually write free verse, I have a general theme ie. Insecurity. And brainstorm from there rhymes take too much effort so I for themes and symbolism to create meaning. I'll drop one for example I hope this helps!
