Here’s something I’ve begun to notice. Despite the fact that I haven’t watched a single episode of s5(Lol), I’ve noticed something interesting. Mari and Adrien are our main characters, then you have their classmates.. But looking at the class there’s something different about one of them.. It’s Alya. Yes, Alya didn’t play as huge of a role as she did in S4, though I’m sure she would’ve if she had kept her miraculous after the s4 finale. But nevertheless, Alya is treated differently, she’s not really just a side character anymore, she’s her own character. I mean, her alternate universe counterpart is playing a major part in the up coming special.

She’s not just a side character anymore. Not to mention Plagg chose her to become her temporary holder. If not for the fact of her nightmares causing her to doubt her ability(Which is such a nice touch because she’s almost always confident in herself), she would’ve been a temporary black cat miraculous holder(Slightly bitter we didn’t get that lol). Not to mention, Tikki specifically chose Alya to take the place of Ladybug, she was given the choice and she chose Alya. Which, to be fair, Alya had already handled the LB miraculous and was aware on how the powers worked, but still, she could’ve chosen anyone and she chose Alya.

If Thomas plays his cards right, he could have a really interesting supporting character. I can’t help but feel they’re going to do something with Alya considering what we know of the next special, how she was treated in S4, and how she was treated in S5 finale, especially with her returning as Rena Rouge(My beloved)

In the Trailer, they had this scene. I can assume that this is after Marinette told Alya she is Ladybug. The focusing on Marinette makes sense, but it’s the focusing on Alya that set off an alarm bell. Maybe I desperately reaching for some Alya content, but still. Im wondering if Alya is going to play a major part in this special. I mean, her alternate universe counterpart obviously is.

Alt Alya is obviously this character. I have no clue if this character is Hesperia because I believe a “good version” of Gabriel was shown in the trailer. But this might be Hesperia. We can see Alt Alya being Akumatized into what I believe is this character. Now, Hesperia might not be Gabriel, it might be Alya, but Gabriel gives her the akuma to become Hesperia. Hesperia is a Greek name that means “evening” or “evening star”. Alt Alya has clearly gone for a more Galaxy themed look.

Now this scene right here had me concerned that Alt Alya may be sided with Shadybug and Claw Noir(?). But you can see she has a struggle on her face as she’s preforming whatever this is and plus

We can also see that Alt Nino(Easily recognizable by the beanie instead of the hat) is seemingly put into danger or being targeted by Shadybug and Claw Noir. So I believe if Alya is Hesperia or a regular citizen recruited by Hesperia, that Nini was targeted due to being close to Alya or him knowing too much. If it was just because he knew too much. It’s probably likely that Hesperia(If it i Hesperia is a good version of Hawkmoth) has given her these abilities to help get her ban back or whatever. However if Alt Alya is evil(I hope not because she looks so cool), then maybe it was all a set up.

However, based on the first ever imagine we got of her, I doubt she’s is the villain because I have a feeling if she was, they’d want to present her as more threatening looking instead of almost heroic. But they may be going the deceptive route.

Anyways, I, despite not much watching miraculous anymore, can’t wait for this special to come out! My Alya stan part of me needs more Alya.

Okay so Zoe and Alya work AMAZINGLY together! Honestly, I think they’d make a really good superhero duo! They’re clever and in-sync!

Zoe had a full bi awakening in this scene. She’ll end up going home and just screaming in her pillow about a certain poka-dotted, sassy queen only for Chloe to tell her to stfu.

Next mission she’ll be silently preying to be YEETED across the city so that the pretty bug lady will save her.

I was recruited by a friend to join a project.. This project is in need of voice actors and artists(Because I can’t do all the art on my own). We’re hoping to do a map type thing.. It’ll be colored story boards, drawings, or animation.. Really how ever you wish to do so.

To join this project, you must be 13 years or older, must have a way for digital art, and have discord. All voice actors[Expect Kikimora] will be required to sing for the song for this MAP is a parody. So singing is required. Luz’s dad looks like the goofiest and funniest guys to be around. He looks like the kind of dad that when your mom wasn’t home, would stay up and let you play on your game on the condition he could play too. He seems like one of those husbands who you can’t stay mad at. I have a feeling Luz gets a lot of traits from her father. He also seems like the extremely clumsy type. He reminds me of that Tiktok sound, “Ivan, how’d you bag a baddie? How’s you bag that baddie? I didn’t bag shit.” I hope we get to see more about him. Maybe flash backs or something.. I want at some point for Amity to ask Luz to tell her(Amity) about her(Luz’s) father. I’m kinda mad he’s dead. I would’ve loved to see her dad with Vee and Camilla. I think if he was there, Camilla would’ve never tried to send Luz to camp.

Also another thing I adored about this episode. Was the way they made a Luz and Amity episode. Not a Lumity episode, but a Luz and Amity episode.. Where both characters, had their own part in the plot that didn’t involve each other. For Amity it was winning the belt and for Luz it was the grief of losing her father.

But, the Lumity in this episode was amazing.

This scene made me feel so single. Also, Luz and her weak nerd arms don’t work anymore. She just so casually spins Amity around like no issue. Luz’s face at the end too, she’s so head over heels for Amity.

One last thing. I love that the Lumity is so healthy, yet kept at a moderate to where it doesn’t over Shadow Luz and her grief and Amity and her feelings.

Luz’s reveal of her dad being dead was so fucking heart breaking.

Everyone who was saying “Luz is a boring main character” “Luz has no real dept” Get the fuck out of here and never come back.

I loved Luz from day one. She is and still is one of my favorite characters. It wasn’t really until this episode, that I realized how much trauma she had. She not only has trauma from being shunned in the human realm, but he dad being dead on that IN ADDITION TO THE SHIT SHE’S FACED IN THE BOILING ILSES. The girl can’t catch a break :(.

And when she tells Amity.. Amity’s face. It’s so raw and realistic. I don’t have a screen shot but you get the idea. You can see the pain and empathy Amity was feeling towards Luz.

I predicted this too. Not her dad being dead(I feel horrible because I was shitting on her dad too) but that Luz wouldn’t open up about her trauma. Which in the end she did, but in the beginning she didn’t.

I like that Luz said, “Maybe I was jealous.” And not. “You’re so lucky to have your dad.” Because that’s the approached a lot of shows go, but The Owl House didn’t. They pointed out Luz didn’t know why she did it.. It could’ve been she was jealous, or just trying to distract herself..

I love TOH very very much. But I’ve never in my life had a show punch me in the emotional gut and me love it. I’ve had books do it, but never shows. And I love it.

Honestly, this so far is my favorite episode. It’s completely exceeded the expectations I had for it.

I don’t care if Huntlow becomes canon(Though I do want it to), I want Hunter’s and Willow’s friendship, not to be forgotten. Like, every few episodes, I want something that ties to it or something.

Like in “Reaching Out” possibly being mentioned that Willow and Hunter are messaging. In “Hollow Mind” maybe starts with Hunter texting Willow on the scroll and some one coming in to where he hides it or Hunter asking Luz if Willow mentions him(Maybe after Luz mentioning she knows Willow knows Hunter). Little things like that where you know that they’re friends and we can see them develop, or if they do go a romantic route, have Hunter or Willow(If either are mentioned to each other or they’re messaging) just have little blushes, not like Amity or Luz blush, just a subtle one, one where you know they’re crushing, but it’s not obvious. Whether it’s platonically or romantically, I don’t want them to be forgotten, Willow was one of his first friends, and I feel it would be lazy writing not to play in that and take advantage.

An idea I like is Hunter, realizing his self worth now(Because of Willow and the gang), starts standing up for himself. Belos picks up on this and finds out why and takes the Emerald Entrails, similar to Amity and Odilia. Idk. I just don’t want their friendship to be forgotten and brushed over. I love Lumity, but I def want Huntlow(Platonically or Romantically) not to be forgotten in Lumity’s shadow really is all.

Here’s my thoughts. I highly doubt Hunter and Willow ever becoming official until Hunter heals from his trauma. Possibly, in the future(If we get a glimpse in the future) they may be canon. But more than likely we’ll just get hints that they like each other(If they do ever become canon)

But I wanna talk about the age gap. It’s a huge deal over something so small. No one batted an eye with Zuko and Katara, Katara and Aang, Toph and Sokka, but suddenly it’s a big deal?

Zuko is canonically 16, Katara is 14, Sokka is 15, Toph and Aang are 12.. Making Zuko 2 years older than Katara, Sokka 3 years older than Toph, and Katara 2 years older than Aang.

I think a lot of issues root from that it’s a straight ship in a cartoon with a heavy queer cast, and so what? Just because it’s a straight couple doesn’t make them Hetrosexual. They could easily be bi or Pan. Some reasons I do agree with, some people head canon them as Aro, I personally hc them both as Pan, or that rn Hunter doesn’t need a romantic partner atm. I get that, but some are just toxic Hunter x Edric or Hunter x Emira fans who don’t want it to be even remotely considered since Willow and him(Hunter) actually have chemistry.
