HEAD CANON RELATIONSHIPS: TEEMO AND VEIGAR

Veigar has always been someone to watch out for in Bandle City. His attempt to steal the mothership may have been a laughable defeat at the hands of the scout, but Veigar has since grown far stronger, and Teemo is well aware of this.

Knowing Veigar has the potential to become the greatest threat to not only Bandle City, but Runeterra itself, Teemo sees Veigar as a target that will need to be dealt with quickly. Though due to Veigar's powerful magic, Teemo has his doubts that he could take him down.

The soldier learned of Veigar’s past through past records while rescuing POWs within Noxus cells. Having seen what they do to yordles when in the original Omega Squad, Teemo understands why Veigar snapped, and wishes he could have saved him, but is well aware that Veigar is now beyond any help Teemo could provide.

The two have skirmished before, but on both ends the killing blow was never finally dealt. It may be that Teemo sees himself in Veigar: What he could become if he finally went over the edge.

Their clashes will come to a violent end some day, and when they do, only one will emerge from the ashes.

//Well, I decided to try designing her! This is just the first pass, so nothing is solidified yet, but my main focus was to find ways to make her silhouette unique compared to champs with huge limbs like Blitzcrank or Rumble, along with figuring out how to make her suit look like it is built for diving, yet feel unique compared to a champ like nautilus. So far, the bulbous sleeves seen for underwater mining suits and diving ships seemed to really help make her suit stand out more. Her mech limbs use clamps rather than fists, helping her stand out compared to champs like Vi or Blitz and clearly showing that this champion is meant for grabbing things.

//Her face also needs to have a unique design, but I will get to that once her mech has a solid shape to work with.

//OK SO I WAS CHATTING WITH ROCKET-GIRL-TRISTANA AND I THOUGHT OF A COOL YORDLE JUNGLE CHAMP OKAY HERE IT GOES Alright so the champ would be a megling yordle, focused around the navy branch of Yordle military, as we already got ones based on the marines (Teemo) army (Trist) and air force (Corki). But since ship combat is difficult to add in, why not focus on diving and mining? And nah, not talking about a diving suit, but something that feels a bit more like the navy: With cargo, torpedoes, and submarines.

See this beastly diving armor? Imagine if we smoothed it out a bit, but focused on one major aspect to the suit. Nautilus focused on the head and an anchor. This would focus on the arms.

Something a bit more like

And what would she be doing with these arms?

GRABBIN YOUR SHIT IS WHAT

//Her core ability would be to grab enemies, who would then be silenced (Or taunted idk), and forced to stick to her for a couple of seconds. The champ would then be able to move around, dragging her new captive with her!

Allies can then use this opportunity to attack the enemy. Or the champ can drag them to a turret. Or, as an added bonus, the champ can use the target as a living shield to protect themselves from a percentage of the damage. This works great as a way to punish those who over extend, is naturally a very close ranged ability, and is best used against casters and squishies. She would also have a torpedo ability. (Which has a start up time, but also has slight homing abilities, making it more difficult to side step and requiring more commitment to dodging.) And a speed boost ability (Which would buff armor and MR while dashing, as well as giving a tenacity bonus, making the yordle less vulnerable to CC while it is in effect.) Her passive is a sonar which, every three seconds in a pulse when she has not used an ability for three seconds, allows the champion to detect objects around her for a brief moment. This includes wards, enemy champions, minions, monsters, and traps. However, the sonar does not distinguish what is what, and does not show movement. It only gives a very brief snapshot of what is around her every three seconds. This can be used to bait her into walking into shaco boxes/shrooms, or thinking the detected objects are wards, when they are actually an awaiting ambush.

Now, her major weaknesses would be that she does not have a very quick way of getting to her enemies. Aside from her grab, she has no solid CC (Her torpedo only slowing for half a second) and she has to get very close to use her grab correctly. The champions she is most likely to grab, which are melee champs, are not as hindered by her silence and can potentially melt her with AAs while she has them in her grip. Her speed boost/tenacity buff makes it harder to stop her ganks, but any champion with good escapes (Like Zed or Lee Sin) can evade her if they see her coming. Her best bet is to catch them in bushes or from behind to limit their chances to react.

Her major role would be jungling. Her basic move speed would be slow due to her mech frame, but her clear time with torpedoes would be decent and her ability to detect possible wards with sonar allows her to remove them before attempting a gank. Her secondary role would be as a support. Her grab could almost guarantee kills if landed, and she would be a very solid counter against hook champs like blitz or leona, as she WANTS to get close to them.

Teemo froze, his eyes slowly opening as his focus returned to the yordle across from him. He was not shocked about the nutrition color system she was bringing up, as he was indulging on ‘yellow’ foods to sate his own appetite for something aside from leaves and poor man’s wheat, but his mind was racing to process the concept that someone voluntarily spoke to him. 

It took a moment for him to understand that she was trying to start a conversation, rather than just stating a fact or asking him a question: A rather alien concept for a yordle who had gone about life being unnoticed. But he knew the drill: He responds, and eventually the person he is speaking with would either be satisfied and stop, or lose interest. Assuming his acquaintance would be short lived, he played along, his widened eyes slowly relaxing into that odd ‘squint’ he had going on earlier.

“Ah..! Yeah, back home I kinda... kinda didn't have have much uh... variety to my diet, so a lot of these foods are new for me and I wanted to be a little daring with my choices.” He spoke with gradually more ease as he continued. “I've never actually had pancakes before, until now at least. They are a lot fluffier than I imagined. I always thought they would be tougher, like... normal baked bread, maybe. But I guess they called pancakes for a reason.” He chuckled at his own little realization, before moving back to taking another bite.  He wasn't really sure if he liked pancakes just yet.

Tristana starts on her eggs, not even really tasting them as she shovels them into her mouth. They were pretty bland anyways; ketchup might help, if she wasn’t feeling so lazy she might seek some out. The table shifts slightly and she glances up to find she has company. Company that is…squinting at her rather strangely. 

“…Hey.” Tristana nods with a cheekful of egg. He doesn’t respond, but she pays it no mind. Not everyone’s a talker. When she’s not exhausted, she can do enough talking for two yordles, though that can be overwhelming. There’s also a lot of serious types here, this guy might be one of them. Still, never hurts to reach out, right?? 

“You got all the uh, caution foods. I did the first couple of days, but it’s like those cards have a mental effect on me. Like ohhh I’m not eating any of the healthy green labeled food I’ve gone totally beyond my yellow card quota. So I got.. low fat yogurt.” Tristana pauses to turn it over in her hand. “See. One green and three yellows. Now I can feel slightly better about my health choices.” 

note: added a link in case people have no idea what I’m referring to with the color coded foods. I figure this is pretty standard for the army.
