The Archangel Ambriel. He’s thought to be the most beautiful being in existence. And once, he believed that. It was rumored that he had eyes that could make anyone love him. Eyes that let him appreciate all the beautiful things in the world. Eyes that saw a man who he immediately loved. Eyes that were destroyed by a jealous lover who is worshipped by millions. Now, he’s a shell of who he was. He thinks he’s a monster. And his low self-esteem and desperate desire to be loved makes him an easy target for those who seek to do him harm. But he’s not as weak as he thinks. And he’s not as alone as he thinks. And he certainly isn’t the only one who wants to see Justice fall on the neck of the man who maimed him.

Ambriel is one of the main characters in a horror/comedy webcomic I’m designing (his arch deeply rooted in the horror side of this story). He’s one of the characters I’ve always loved most because I want him to be okay. But even as I write the story, I don’t know if he’s going to make it out.

The Archangel Chamuel - he’s a very successful televangelist making millions of dollars running his mega-church in Louisiana. He claims he can “heal” the ailing…..a complete scam but makes him good money. His followers are fanatical - willing to do anything he says, regardless of how horrible or dangerous it is. He has realized how much power can be had manipulating the faith of people. How he plans to use that power? Only he knows.

The Archangel Uriel works as a librarian at a prestigious university. It helps him take time away from his real job: trying to keep balance and order in the universe. A job made harder by a drunk guardian Angel who was tasked with guarding the life of the messiah, who is the worst. In his free time, Uriel likes to read bodice-busting Harlequin romance novels and imagining he has a boyfriend. He likes to thrift and collect eccentric trinkets and is doing his best not to completely lose his mind with the stress of the job.

Uriel is one of the main characters of the horror/comedy webcomic I’m working on called “You Will Not Be Saved” about a wayward guardian and his charge. Uriel is the Angel you meet first and is less batshit then his counterparts. But that’s not saying much.

Meet the Seven Archangels: Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, Raphael, Ambriel, Chamuel, and Zadkiel/Raziel. They’re characters I’m working on for a webcomic called “You Will Not Be Saved” about an alcoholic, absolute shit at his job guardian angel named Rhodes and his perfect saint of a human he has to protect, Barnaby. Hell doesn’t exist. Heaven claims Earth is Hell, but Rhodes looks at the bureaucratic nightmare Heaven is and begs to differ. Some of the angels are good. Some are not. All of them are batshit crazy. This comic is a little bit comedy, a little bit horror, and a lotta bit frisky angels and existential crises.

I haven’t drawn anything in YEARS so it’s been really fun working on actually designing something!

The Angel Raziel - one of the main antagonists from the little webcomic I’m trying to start called You Will Not Be Saved. He’s got problems - the biggest of which being that he shares a body with his homicidal sister Zadkiel. When he comes out though…he makes an entrance.

The Angel Uriel - one of the main characters in the new webcomic I’m doing called You Will Not Be Saved. The Archangel Uriel has one job - to keep the world balanced. This job is made impossibly hard by the drunk failure of a guardian angel, Rhodes, who wants nothing more than to drown himself in a bottle in an alleyway somewhere. Uriel is always straddling the line between holding himself together and having a complete and total meltdown. It doesn’t help that the other 6 Archangels are no help at all. He’s uptight and high strung. And maybe it’s going to take an unravelling to get him to really learn what it means to have balance.
