Listening to Masterplan I somehow caught Alastor Moody vibe and I can't help. This band fits him so perfectly.

Not sure, whether it's the singer's timbre or the music itself. Anyway, I like this little discovery.

At once I realize, Mad-Eye can be nothing but a heavy metal fan, and a modern AU comes to my mind where he's an old biker who sometimes goes on stage with his former band that reunites on rare occasions to throw a gig for a small circle of friends.

Damn, the more I think of this, the more I want to be a part of it.

Thinking about my favorite characters, I decided to mention another one I initially intended to add to the list, but I chose not to, because he’s really unpopular and very little known, but to me he’s very special and deserves to be introduced separately. His name is Lawrence Montague from the movie The Girl in the Cafe. I love him deeply and dearly and have nothing but warm, tender feelings for him.

We have so much in common. I understand every bit of his personality and feel him in all possible ways. Mind blowing, how much I relate to him.

He’s restrained and closed up. Quiet, shy, unconfident. Insecure and a little bit too twitchy, and I find it so endearing about him. He’s tactful, delicate, considerate of other people. The perfect example of decency and modesty.

Although he makes an impression of a hard worker, absorbed in reports and showing little interest in social interaction, a weird guy, an outsider, he’s actually very cool and interesting. His inner world is rich, and his horizons are not limited to just numbers he seems to be fixated on. He has a wonderful sense of humor and can insert a random fact into a conversation or make up a funny word, which I think is amusing. These little things reveal his lively temper and perky spirit, and I just adore it.

He is cute, sweet and lovely, and very touching.

His character gives me so much comfort and cozy feeling no one will ever be able to.

A few more words about Rufus Scrimgeour.

The only reason I didn't include Rufus Scrimgeour to the list of my favourite characters was probably my prejudiced attitude based on personal liking for Bill Nighy rather than objective judgement of his traits. Therefore I might associate my fondness for the actor with affection for the character and consequently misinterpret the original concept of his individuality.

My vision of him might slightly differ from the canon. Although I try not to deviate too much, I can't help adding some qualities to his personality according to my own perception.

He's the only character I have such a complicated relationship with. Apparently, it can be explained by utter inconsistency of Bill Nighy's persona and the one of Rufus Scrimgeour, which breaks my patterns with desire to combine them into one, although it's illogical and unreasonable.

Rufus Scrimgeour has been my number one favourite man for more than a year, quite a long term for me.

Despite the consequences of his chosen course, to me he'll always be an embodiment of stesdfastness, reliability and safety.

One should be tough as hell to apply for the position in circumstances that went along, and I admire his courage to take the chance. This alone is worth appreciation.

We can argue about his decisions during the war, blaming and reproaching him, but we also shouldn't forget he had to resist not only the evident enemy, but also assholes who were to be considered his allies. However, that's another story.

Rufus Scrimgeour might not be the man to love, but certainly the man to admire.

Sometimes I open the folder with all my written shit and start randomly reading things I wrote like a year ago. Some are so well written, I can't even believe it was me who did it, and I fall for all those characters over again.

It seems to me, I won't be able to finish the tone of my wips or ever write something that good. For some reason, it got harder to find the right mood and energy, and it makes me sad.

Yeah you know, after being systematically lied to since her fucking wedding and after finding out her husband who SWORE he had changed was going to kill a man - an asshole but a man nonetheless - a woman might act impulsive. Actions have consequences. Stop poor meow meowing Rumple and shitting on Belle, it's giving misogyny. They both made some wrong choices at some points.

She knew whom she was marrying. And she wouldn't be lied to if she accepted the man the way he was.

Love is not about changing the partner, but taking them with all their flaws.

I like Belle, and I wish she showed more understanding to Rumple's identity.

Don't forget it's just a fictional story and characters are written the way they are with purpose to advance the storyline and, in particular, to spark discussions like this one.

I'm here not to judge someone or to take someone's shit. I'm here to have fun. Therefore, I'm going to meow meow Rumplestiltskin for as long as I want.

I hate the way Belle treats Rumple in S5.

Actually, I hate it since she made him cross that fuckin line. I hate her affair with Will, I hate she no longer cared enough about Rumple when he was about to fight the bear and moreover the Dark Killian. Also, she wasn't really impressed that he fucking won! Bloody hell! The man DEFEATED the Dark One!!! Isn't that OVERWHELMING??!

Not to mention the fight with Gaston when her high morality ruined the chance to save her child and break the contract.

And Rumple FORGIVES her everything! Without a second thought!!! If that is not true love, I don't know what is.

Once again. Rumple deserved better. Someone who'd accepted him the way he was.
