5. Friday- Catchphrases

Hmmm, how they got their iconic phrases... I don't really think that Ryder gave it or created one to/for all of them, I think each of the pups created their own, but how?

They're related to the thing they do and they aren't long and they're so original. Some rhyme and some just sound good.

I think that's interesting because all the catchphrases fit them, it has the essence and personality of each character.

Like If Skye said Marshall's catchphrase she wouldn't feel the same because that's not hers.

Or if Marshall said Chase's catchphrase it wouldn't be right because they have their own personality, their own line/catchphrase.

Or Rocky obviously wouldn't say Zuma's catchphrase, it doesn't suit him and I don't think he would say it.

I feel that they aren't replaceable that if they created new puppies and gave them the same catchphrase it wouldn't be the same. Because Chase is on the case but you change it to give it to idk Marco? Stefan? and maybe a belgian shepherd or something it wouldn't be the same. They can't replace my boy.

Yeah. This was so general but something is something and it was more of an analysis but meh.

angsty past headcanons for main pups

Chase - grieves over the loss of his purebred parents and siblings from money-hungry poachers (since his former owners look shady to own an expensive breed)

Marshall - has a difficulty of coping his own scarring experiences or PTSD of being battered by his abusive owners who thought dalmatians were deaf, clumsy, useless and nuisances

Rocky - unknown at the moment

Zuma - unable to stand up against a corrupt millionaire who claimed his oceanic hometown and killed off his beloved owner

Skye - doesn’t want to sit still, look pretty and couldn’t defy her wealthy parents due to their reasonable strictness, their fear of hawks and bald eagles, and aircrafts being costly than she imagined (AND NO SIZE INFERIORITY FOR HER)

Rubble doesn’t have much tragic stuff, since the spinoff show his supportive relatives present and there is nothing to write home about.🫤

Fuck it I’m making a Paw Patrol human au. All of them Attend Goodway Middle School and are in 6th grade. They live in Adventure Bay California.

Marshall grow up with first responders parents his father fire marshal and mother is a paramedic. His siblings are much older then him, his brother is away in the military and sister is at university but comes home once a month. Marshall really wants to be like his parents and loves to help others and hates how his siblings baby him

Rubble is the child of divorce. He lives mostly with his dad but spends two weekends a month at his mom’s. His dad owns a construction company and he wants to own it himself when he grows up. He’s not the most athletic but he loves to skateboard

Chase’s dad is the captain of the local police. He’s a Boy Scout and wants to become the youngest Eagle Scout ever. He has a laundry list of allergies and is asthmatic. His mom is a stay home mom and is over bearing

Rocky’s dad walked out on the family when he was small. His mom remarried another woman. So he lives with his mom and stepmom. He love’s tinkling with his stepmom and is finding ways to reuse every day items. He’s afraid of water because he nearly drowned as a small child. He’s also Jewish

Zuma lives near the beach and loves to surf. He tries to surf at least twice a week. When he’s not surfing he’s skateboarding. He lives with his parents and two younger sisters

Skye comes from a large and wealthy family. Although she comes from the wealthiest family in Adventure Bay she struggles with getting her parents attention. She does gymnastics and loves it. She loves aviation and idolizes female aviators like Amelia Earhart and Bessie Coleman. She either wants to be a professional gymnast or a pilot when she grows up

Everest just move to Adventure Bay from Alaska due to her dad’s job. She’s Indigenous Alaskan and is adjusting from living in a community with her tribe to being the only Native American in her class. She loves the outdoors, skateboarding, hiking, snowboarding, boating and just being outdoors.

New Episode Update!

"Charger's Christmas Adventure / Pups Save Great Uncle Smiley's Cup" will air on Saturday, November 25, 2023 on KnowledgeKids, as well as on Monday, November 27 on Nickelodeon USA! How lucky to get these so close together for once! Sadly, I don't suspect that Smiley has anything to do with Marshall's pet frog by the same name. Also, more Charger in PAW Patrol, how interesting.

"Pups Save a Baby Caribou / Pups Save Luke and his Luke-a-Like" is not on the schedule yet, but there's a very good chance it'll air on Saturday, December 9 on KnowledgeKids. No USA date yet.

Also, as a reminder, the Rubble & Crew episode, "The Crew and Chase are on the Case" will premiere on Nickelodeon USA on Monday, December 4. For you Chase fans out there, don't miss it!

3. Wednesday-Playtime

I love seeing Chase happy, he's a cute baby.

And I know he likes playing but maybe also theater. Because in that chapter where he going to play King Arthur? If I remember correctly, he seemed very excited and happy to play that role until he got sick and Marshall had to take over it for him.

He can sometimes act all serious and everything but he likes fun, he likes playing with his friends. If I remember correctly I think there was an episode where Chase and Zuma competed in pup pup boogie. Why he had to go to the dentist? Because he was playing.

He deserves all the games and love in the world <3.

Just imagine a little Chase chasing a ball and Marshall runs out and they collide, they're laughing. Yeah they need to be normal pups too, playing etc.

You all remember Zuma was going to have a support role and more screentime according to Cal Brunker?

That was scratched off, but I think FANDOM wiki is to blame for their trash rules of taking out legitimate admins and allowing faulty AI.😒

The only BAD NEWS I found is the film writers will forget Marshall’s existence in favor of Skye and Chase scenes. (LIKE DID YOU FORGET CHARSHALL aka the shepherd x dally best friends EXISTS?)

Honest to heavens, it infuriates me to no end.

Sorry to rain their parades of if all those who ship them, but I see Skye and Chase as step-siblings more than you imagine. It will be explained in my headcanons for sure.😑

Marshall could have been the next lead in the Mighty Pups film with a tragic backstory and Chase being the support role for him. Or explore more of Zuma & Skye’s friendship. It works much more than what we have now.

All of what I’ve researched thus far; including Skye’s non-existent size inferiority and turning her into a strong twink made me NOT WANT to see the feminist sequel, dislike CAL’s first movie adaptation for derailing Chase’s character, and appreciate the older seasons up until the lonely ghost episode. (Marshall-centric episodes from season 9 onwards still matters, so let me know there are at least a few)
