Will Zoro leave Luffy after they achieve their dreams? Not likely

Saying Zoro's gonna voluntarily leave Luffy at the end of OP so he can "live his own life" (i.e. get married, open a dojo, hang out in bars) is so wild to me. That's like saying Luffy's gonna give up adventuring so he can sit around and gorge himself on meat

First of all, it ignores that Zoro genuinely enjoys traveling with Luffy. Luffy (who's always getting into trouble) gives Zoro the chance to be his best self. And Zoro (who very much wants to be his best self) will always seize that chance with both hands

Second, both characters are like...the poster children of wanting to have their cake and eat it too. If you're Luffy or Zoro, you rarely need to make either/or choices. That's what makes them unique. It's why they've both got conqueror's haki! Basically: If Zoro wants to drink until he blacks out? If he wants to nap all day? Hell, if he wants to get lost in a paper bag?? He is like a big cat. He will do what he wants, wherever he is. He doesn't need to leave Luffy to get those things LOL

Third, Luffy's made it clear the Pirate King needs no less than the Greatest Swordsman by his side. Why would that suddenly stop once they've both achieved their dreams? Is Luffy going to quit being Pirate King? Why would he? Luffy wants to be the most free in the world, so he can live the life he wants...with the people he wants to live it with

In other words, Luffy isn't letting Zoro go without a fight — not unless Luffy genuinely feels he's no longer the type of man Zoro would want to travel with. And wouldn't that be the worst ending for both of them?

Obsessed with the thought that tho mihawk is comfortable in his lone wolf life style, he does find it a bit too lonesome sometimes when the mood is somber, the silence is too much and he just remembers shanks' laugh and maybe no matter how much shanks' crew are too loud (understatement) he does find them entertaining, and maybe he enjoys ben's company in a comfortable silence, he may even consider him something close to a friend.

It just gets too much sometimes and he loathes the loneliness. When he's in one of those moods, he's mostly drinking and picking petty guaranteed wins. Going around like "you disturbed my nap" to whomever he's slicing into two and it got quite worst after he got used to zoro and perona and now they're no longer there and he was never much for kids but those are HIS kids and he misses kicking zoro's ass and baking with perona and them helping him in the garden as an unspoken, forced bonding family time.

He may like being alone but he hates being lonely, especially after he met people he actually enjoyed sacrificing his alone time for (not that he'll ever admit it)

Now he's hanging out with cross guild (while waiting for zoro to get stronger and come after him so he either take his retirement or just dies in peace, both are good, really) and no day passes without at least one murder attempt from his side, but really, try to take the clown away from him and it would be you he stabs.

Usopp friendship with Mihawk had to be the funniest thing added in the OPLA, year 1 of Kuragaina goth rooming nightmare and the three of them end up bonding over Ussop of all ppl. Because Shanks shows up on a "bother Mihawk" whim and they all subconsciously decide to bully Yassop about his shitty parenting choices. Perona escorts them to the main house ranting a mile a minute about Ussop this Ussop that and how he is immune to her fruit and what that means and how that means that obviously Ussop suffers from daddy issues(only issues Ussop isn't suffering from but Yassop doesn't know that) and Yassop is already squirming but then Zoro is there. He is looming in a corner, menacingly (as much as he can anyway, he is scrawny and more bruised than an overripe apple at the bottom of the barrel) and he just gives them a flat look, murmurs smth vaguely rude about them being the deadbeat pirates(Shanks catching strays about his less than stellar parenting choices) and leaves to go train. Now everyone has caught on more or less on the Yassop bullying campaign the residents of Kuragaina have decided to embark on but they hope Mihawk is like, uninvolved. Except he isn't unaware of Ussop, no he is genuinely fond of the boy, would have vastly preferred he showed up out of nowhere because "at least Ussop seems to understand the notions of body odour and daily showering Roronoa" and while not done deliberately, he does bring up Ussop as a positive example for things like cleanliness and "not bothering people with incessant chattering and complaining Perona" (Zoro laughs at this, if only Mihawk knew). This lulls Yassop in a false sense of a security. Yeah, Mihawk is praising his son, but surely he wouldn't say anything about his parenting. So he relaxes, even feels a little proud of his boy making such a good impression, is planning on bragging to the crew about his cool as fuck son who charmed the fuck out of Mihawk after they leave and then it happens. Mihawk gets a glint in his eye and delivers the final punch: "one would think the two of you are the fatherless ones, with the way you are acting. The boy grew up with no father in his life and still behaves more dignified than both of you. To your rooms." Yassop goes back to the ship after this and sobs in his rum bottle.

"The Yassop bullying campaign" being a thing is extremely funny to me. Everybody loves Usopp. Everybody is overprotective of him. Perona and him are actually besties and she kind of wishes to see him again because the second her ghosts affect him, that'll mean he's more or less fine mentally (girl is worried sick about his self-esteem). Zoro? We know Zoro loves the fuck out of him. That's his sniper. Back off. He's ready to fight Yasopp if needed, even. And you're completely right about the OPLA thing because I swear the Mihawk/Usopp friendship makes me the happiest person on earth. Mihawk has a favorite son and I won't say who he is because it's obvious. Now Yasopp is shaking with fear and regret because three people apparently hate his guts for his son and now he's extremely scared of meeting Usopp again.

🐚 Nami likes physical touch but only when she's known the person long enough. She welcomes hugs and other touches but if it's a stranger, she'll shrug them off and tell them not to do so again.

🐚 Shanks is affectionate towards those he knows and doesn't hesitate to show it. He's just so loving and that doesn't go away for his partner.

🐚 Shanks is always so soft and gentle. His way of showing physical touch is always delicate.

🐚 He'll be laying down, barely awake, swearing he isn't asleep like always. When he senses his partner beside him, he'll crack a smile and pull their face closer, placing a small kiss at their cheek.

🐚 In group settings, he'll have a drink in one hand while his other hand will be firmly around the waist of his partner. He just loves having them close.

Buggy

🐚 Buggy is not capable of shame and is unapologetic, especially with his partner in terms of PDA.

🐚 Genuinely doesn't matter who is in attendance, he's holding onto them in any way he sees fit. Preferably he has his partner sit in his lap while he talks.

🐚 Buggy finds it hilarious to find any way to embarrass his partner and makes it a personal goal to see them blush or get nervous by him. So you can trust that he's always upping how intimate his touches are.
