Grapejuice
Harry loves a double meaning, which he does particularly well in Grapejuice. It includes a nice call back to Perfect and touches reflecting about someone he needs in his life but it’s complicated.
Harry put a bowl of peaches and a carnation in the lyric video. A reference to Maroon’s “Carnations you thought were roses, that’s us”
Zane Lowe (38:30) suggested the song is about dependency in alcohol and Harry spoke about Fine Line rather than Grapejuice, Zane tried a few times to bring dependency and the song up. The Harry reflected on peers who went through the peak of fame alone without the band (49). If the human race can be saved by avoiding a topic Harry Styles is our man.
Harry also didn’t play Grapejuice for a year after the first 2 album release shows. Then on 13 May 2023, he added it to the setlist in Horsens and played it to the end of the tour.

The first verse refers to Perfect's "And I might never be the one who brings you flowers" and the song title. While in Perfect it was not a romantic love, they were perfect to hang out Grapejuice is more mature in intent in this first verse, seeing the person is perfect for him and wanting to spend time with just them in his local area, Hampstead Heath.
But I got over it and I said
"Give me somethin' old and red"
I pay for it more than I did back then
However, true to the One Direction song, he doesn't buy his muse flowers, he asked for an old (flame), Taylor referring to her album Red which is in part about him. This is a double meaning, he does mean a bottle of aged red wine, and his ex who's album is Red.

But there is no one else for him, in MMITH: "'Cause once you go without it / Nothing else will do" and As it Was: "In this world, it's just us" 20 times it was only each other.
Likening his muse to a bottle of wine is also intentional, they have likened their relationship to a substance dependancy before in Clean " Ten months sober, I must admit / Just because you're clean, don't mean you don't miss it", MMIH “gotta get better / give me some morphine.” and DBATC "I get drunk, but it's not enough"

Harry said to Rolling Stone about Taylor:
"I like tipping a hat to the time together. You’re celebrating the fact it was powerful and made you feel something, rather than ‘this didn’t work out, and that’s bad.’ And if you run into that person, maybe it’s awkward, maybe you have to get drunk … but you shared something."

Harry has expressed similar sentiments of enjoying Taylor as a person in his life, in a parallel in Little Freak: "I was thinkin' about who you are Your delicate point of view,"
Harry is thinking about his muse, and says they travel to many places together. To me the line "You're always there, so don't overthink" is an acknowledgement that the muse is always in his heart, to not overthink and become jealous. Because he continues to say he's so over people that are not Taylor.
Being so over whites and pinks are sweeter, less stong wines than Reds, it's way to say no one else will do, he is over dating people who are not his muse.
I pay for it more than I did back then
Paying more for it now than back then is also a double meaning, the wine has increased in price and emotionally it costs more to spend time with this person. Harry and Taylor sing a lot about paying for being together.

Harry wants nothing more than to share a bottle of wine his muse. The grape juice blues are feeling depressed, he wants to be with his muse, it is fraught and the drink because they are awkward.
1982 adds up to 20. Red Wine is in many of their songs:
Olivia: "This isn't the stain of a red wine, I'm bleeding love"
Little Freak: "Red wine and a ginger ale / But you would make fun of me for sure"
Maroon: "The burgundy on my T-shirt when you splashed your wine into me" and "Your roommate's cheap-ass screw-top , that's how"
Clean: "You're still all over me like a wine-stained dress I can't wear anymore"
The 1: "Rosé flowing with your chosen family"

Harry starts the song with 1, 2, 3 and ends on 1 (I.e let’s start again) Taylor also counts 1, 2, 3 after “you didn’t a number on me but honestly baby who’s counting” in So it goes.

If S&C never formally announce that they’re dating, I’d be fine with it. But one thing I do hope, is that they get to a level of comfort that they’re able to express their feelings for each other freely. I watch this podcast on YT called Zane and Heath: unfiltered and two of the members, Mariah and Heath are dating, they don’t announce/make it known every episode, but they have little cute moments like staring at each other and smiling or winking and other stuff like that. But, even if they never get to that point, I’ll be okay with anything they feel comfortable doing on camera.
Yeah I wanted them to just express their feeling freely on video too. They're both come so far tho from hiding during Twitch stream to getting so smitten on some video. It's on its way for both of them for sure!

Any good recommendation for podcast with Sam and Colby? Need fuel to survive third semester of med school hehe
Sadly, snc haven't appeared on that many podcasts over the years, so the well isn't very deep. But I'll give you a short list of a few of the appearances that stuck out to me - if you've already listened to them, feel free to stop by and ask for more!
1. Morbid Podcast Episode 398- True Crime & True Hauntings with Sam and Colby: This one is good if you are into learning about the history of something. If you aren't familiar with Morbid, they do a true crime podcast that also occasionally dives into hauntings and urban legends. They covered a Sam and Colby video in one of their episodes, which led to snc reaching out to them and appearing on an episode dedicated to a military ship with a haunted background.
2. The Checkup with Doctor Mike- Colby Brock has Cancer and Doctors Let Him Down (video available on youtube): obviously, this one deals with very sensitive and serious topics and themes and was recorded shortly before Colby began chemo. I'd only listen to this one if you are comfortable with listening to some of the things he went through during the first half of his cancer battle (it can get intense), but this one is also a good listen if you really want to get a peak inside the relationship between snc and just how much of a united front they are in all aspects of their lives. It's also probably a lot easier to listen to now that we know he's cancer free, as well.
3. Kong Pham- Sam and Colby (available on youtube): Kong is a long time friend and business associate of snc's, so this podcast has a really comfortable and casual feel compared to some other times where they may be in full "snc llc" mode. They really go behind the scenes and in depth on a lot of the highs and lows in their lives - fascinating listen!
4. You've Got Company with Kris Collins, Episode 1 (available on youtube): another familiar and comfortable one with a trusted friend, they really let their guard down in this one. They're also hungover, which helps set the tone. 🤣
A few honorable mentions: the Joe Rogan Podcast (very long, not a lot of new info), the podcast with Heath and Zane (too many people talking over one another, but some good laughs), Share Ur Scare with Brennen Taylor (Brennen is Brennen but it had some fun moments).

Back when I listened to youtubers podcasts like Zane and heath (the blog squad💀🫣) they mentioned once or twice how they were friends with people who were friends with jacob. There seems to be a weird overlap of c list actors and influencer friend groups and Olivia would have also ran in that circle. He's also friends with Noah centineo who's in that 'scene' too so jacob is or at least was a part of that crowd. To clarify I dont mean they're all a big friend group but these groups of actors and influencers would be at the same parties and events so theyd all just know each other if that makes sense. So I assume that's where he would've meet her

‘The Roast of Zane Hijazi’ confirmed that he (and I’m assuming Heath and Mariah) isn’t friends with Carly and Erin anymore because he refused to take a covid test to go to Erin’s wedding. Which is so mad to me because even though I’m not anti vax it makes sense that someone who is anti vax wouldn’t get the vax just to attend a wedding but like just take the test there’s literally no danger in that!
