The Rendering (2002)
PLOT (May contain spoilers)
Ten years after being attacked in an art school by habitual rapist Theodore Gray (Peter Outerbridge), who is serving 25 years but is now eligible for parole, Sarah Reynolds (Shannen Doherty) leads a happy life in a gallery and with her handsome husband, lawyer Michael Reynolds (John H. Brennan).
As a sketch-artist, she helps police detective, Nick Sousa, with cases. It was Det. Sousa (Stephen Young) who put Gray away. Then, new cases following Gray's M.O. occur, and a victim who got away gives a description that Sarah hesitates to draw because it looks just like Michael.
Once Michael is behind bars, Sarah keeps searching for answers, but is soon blackmailed to plead for Gray's parole or his crime cohorts will torture Michael to death.

Why Do We Love ...
Tina Aumont
Tina Aumont didn't came into our life when we were child just like Shannen Doherty or Drew Barrymore did; she even wasn't a teenage idol just as Jane Asher or Pattie Boyd; Tina Aumont she came a bit later in life like Bebe Buell or Demri Parrott.

We first knew about Tina by watching the documentary Nico Icon (Suzanne Ofteringer, 1995) where she was interviewed about her friend Nico. We watched that doc because we liked Nico, we felt Nico was very different from the 60s muses, we found her mysterious and unique and we wante dto know more about her, and by our surprise, a very beautiful dark-haired woman was there talking.

This beautiful dark-haired woman was an actress who was 49 years old and looking great, and she was friend of Nico in the late 60s. Looking that beautiful in her late 40s, we were curious about how did she looked when she was young, so we decided to google her and to our surprise, very beautiful photos came as a result of that search. We love her naturallity, her dark hair and her heavy make-up around her eyes, and her hippie looks, of course!!

We didn't know anything about her so we decided to googled her, and by our surprise, she didn't have any website and we found it a little weird because we discovered that she was a famous actress in the 60s and 70s mainly in Italy, but also she was daughter of two great superstars.
We started to save the photos we saw on google, we started to make some screencaps from her films and then we start buying some clippings & magazines we found on ebay with the purpose to make a site for her as a tribute, for honouring her memory.

We started to build (yes, build) a Facebook page for her, with all the photos we were collecting, and also we started a tumblr because we saw someone was sharing the photos we posted without crediting our effort (a las, the never ending story!)... the facebook we had was becoming very big, with more than thousand followers, people were sharing memories, stories, it was very beautiful, but one day facebook shut down our page for containing nudity.
We had to start everything again...

We created a new facebook, called Tina Aumont Tribute, and we started again to share our passion for this great creative girl, at first it was a very slow start, but little by little, more people liked the page, and we got really surprised when a couple of Tina's friends liked it, and one of them even told us, several times that he's very happy that we keep her memory alive. Through instagram (although we don't have any profile for her), we have contacted several photohraphers, who are glad to share their pics and who have helped us to credit them in some photos.

We found Tina had a very exotic and unique beauty, she loved Eastern culture, she was a hippie chick when she was really young and she lived with very creative people during the happiest days of her life. Sadly not everything was beautiful; as we were buying more magazines about her and sharing her photos, darker stories came, in the mid 70s she was a heavy heroin user, her step mother didn't treat her well in her childhood and teen years, and she married a friend of her dad just to runaway from that life. She got pregnant but the baby didn't survive...

Thanks to the tumblr site but mainly to our facebook site for her, three really interesting people contacted us, one was Andrea Montez, a Peruvian girl who shared our passion for Tina and who shared lots of rare photos of Tina with us, we are happy to call us friends; the other person who contacted us was an Italian girl who made great videos with rare footage from Pierre Clementi & Frédéric Pardo's home movies and she sent us her screencaps, always sharing with much love and respect towards Tina; and the third person we met was a French writer who asked for some collaboration as he was writing a biography about Tina Aumont. We were really excited!! We exchanged photos, some stories and lots of knowledge came through him. He worked really hard on that book (Waiting for Tina, à la recherce de Tina Aumont) and he has a page for her on facebook called as the book. He is very active in poetry conventions and he is promoting the book in different festivals.

Today, for what would have been her 77th birthday, we wanted to share with all of you, dear followers, how we knew about Tina and what made us love her.

When Netflix rereleased Young Sheldon in November 2023, the sitcom found a huge new audience — a fact that took star Iain Armitage completely by surprise.
The teen actor, who plays a younger version of Jim Parsons’ character Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory, exclusively tells PEOPLE the moment he knew the CBS spinoff was a hit on Netflix.
“Randomly, a friend of mine was like, 'Yo, I saw your show on Netflix,' and I was like, 'It's on Netflix in the U.K. I don't know [if] it's on Netflix in the U.S.," he says, adding, "I kind of didn't even really know we were on Netflix until I looked, and I don't tend to watch much TV. I don't do any of my own social media. It's all run by my mom and also by sort of my people, I guess. That sounds so weird, but I'm not hip with the kids, so it's kind of funny to see that it really has blown up so much.”
Young Sheldon, which is entering its seventh and final season, debuted on Netflix, has been a regular fixture on the streaming service’s Top 10 TV Shows in the U.S. Today chart. Its fans now include Shannen Doherty, who said during a panel at MegaCon in early February that she had binge-watched and loved the show.
This kind of adulation has Armitage, 15, feeling “honored,” although he also admits his friends, who are either watching the show for the first time or rewatching it, will make references to earlier seasons, and he won’t always catch them.
“I have friends now that'll be making references to season 2, and I'm like, ‘What are you talking about?’” he says. “They're like, ‘How do you not know? You were on that.’ I'm like, ‘It was six years ago. Geez.’
What’s less surprising to Armitage is the sitcom’s wide appeal. Although Young Sheldon revolves around a once-in-a-generation genius who lives in a “sometimes dysfunctional family” in Texas in the ‘90s, there are themes many people can still relate to, its teen star explains.
“Pretty much everyone, no matter who you are, can somewhere relate to at least some themes of this show," he says. "Everyone kind of has feelings of maybe feeling out of place or who are kind of like Sheldon. You don't have to be a genius to sometimes have a hard time connecting with people.”
He continues, “I know statistically that somewhere there must be somebody who had a hard day today or is kind of sad or feeling down … that's going on Netflix or going on TikTok or going on cable or whatever they're doing and seeing our show,. Hopefully, that can turn their day around, because sometimes all you need is a little bit of a laugh.”

I did 14 episodes on “Charmed” and had a great time. Whenever I showed up to the set as Belthazor, Alyssa Milano would always give me a kiss on the cheek and say, “You’re not scary.” Holly was really nice too, really down to earth. And I know the rumors about Shannen Doherty, but for me, she was always nice and very professional. I would always see her doing extra work off the set with the stunt people just to make sure her fight scenes looked good. I remember one time when we were preparing for a scene, she got a box of roses from someone. When she opened them, they were dead roses. People can be so cruel.

That was about a boy with a Down’s syndrome, and I was guest-starring as the boy’s teacher. Shannen was on that episode, too, and I was setting them up to be married, for what that might be like. I was new to L.A. then because I’d mostly been on the stage, and I was relatively new to being on camera. And I remember thinking, «This girl is a pro”. So I was aware of how good Shannen was, and she was very nice when I did Charmed. I enjoyed working with her, Holly Marie Combs, I had played her biological mother on Picket Fences. We didn’t get to work together on Charmed, but it was fun just getting to see her again. Otherwise my experience was pretty straightforward.
Actually, one other thing I remember was being at a table and another guest star was having a hard time. In between takes Shannen said something very encouraging and nurturing to her, and I thought she was very nice. I think some of it is rumor, but a lot of it is based on truth because she was young when success hit her. The great thing about Shannen is that she is a total professional and is always prepared, and she expects everyone around her to be at the same level - and I like to think I am the same way, so I respect the way she is around the set. Scott Steiner (Wrestling W/Demons demon) Steiner is asked about appearing on the TV show "Charmed" while working in WCW. He said that while explaining to Shannen Doherty's stunt double that he would have to put his hand in her crotch to perform a press slam, Shannen came up to him and said that she would do that and when Steiner told her that he would have to put his hand in her crotch, Shannen told him that is why she asked. Danielle Harris (Aviva) First AC guy was talking to me - Shannen kept walking by, she wasn't very nice to me anyway but she kept getting mad. Wasn't sure what was going on. Wasn't a fun experience. A lot of fighting between the girls. If I pick Shannen, Holly would be mean. If I picked Holly, Shannen would be mean. Alyssa kept telling me what to do as if I didn't know anything. The AC was using me to get back at Shannen. He had been her boyfriend for 1.5 years. Thats why I was getting stink eye.
Scout Compton (Thistle the fairy) I did 7 or 8 episodes and it was interesting. I wasnt on (when Rose was on NOTE: She was only on 1 episode with Shannen. The rest with Rose)The women were always fighting in the makeup trailer.

THE DAY I MET SHANNEN
We've always loved Shannen Doherty, actress, activist, author and director. First we noticed her when we were maybe around 9, watching "Beverly Hills 90210" at granny's.
Earlier this year we knew she was going to be in Europe - Paris and Wales - for some conventions. So it was now or never! My sister and I decided to go to the Paris Manga Scifi Show, the first time we attended such an event like this.
We bought the ticket... Wait, no, we bought the extra photoshot but not the actual ticket and we didn't know! So run and buy a ticket. I was actually panicking, what if there are none left? Luckily there were tickets...
We didn't know how this thing worked as it was the first time we attended, so we just bought to have a photo with her (not autograph, not meet & greet, not group photos), and then we were told there was a conference at noon, included in the ticket, and then after that, there were the photos with her.
It was morning time so we just strolled around the place, it was great, filled with many Japanese/manga stuff and also classic cars from classic films, and shops selling beautiful things. We had an early lunch and off to the conference we go!!!!
It was great to see these people there, these actors that we spend many evenings with, watching their characters and stories to grow, change, facing enemies, loving each other...
The bond between Shannen and Rose was amazing, and while Shannen and Holly were in good terms, Shannen and Rose had a very big connection. Brian and Drew were very funny!
They were asked about a new show or film. They were saying they didn't know but you couldn't believe them! then Shannen said all of them would like to but it was not up to them, so I guess they have to find great producers and writers. The show finished many years ago and there are still many fans out there, young and old! the fact that the sisters in the show had to hide that they were Witches, opened the door to many fans who were struggling with their identity or illnesses that they had to keep as a secret, so it created a bond between these fans and the characters they were watching in the show.
I think they could do a double Power of three... the three alive sisters (Paige, Piper and Phoebe); and the three dead ones (Prue, their mum, and their grandmother)
Also Shannen was asked if she knew she was going to leave the show before or after the final episode was filmed, and if the other cast members knew. She said she will have a podcast and she will explain everything there. Also she said she would like to have had Prue and Paige being together, so I think or either it would have been the 4 sisters, or someone else had to leave... (this she didn't say).
Also they were asked if a famous person was fan of the show, and Holly said Julia Roberts said it to her when they met at "Ocean's 11" film premiere. Shannen said something and Holly snapped "You were there!". You actually don't know if Holly was speaking like Piper, or Piper was speaking like Holly the whole time! haha
And then it was THE TIME!
Me. This was actually in the morning. We were told individual shots were in the afternoon...
We waited all this time, from January/February, for this moment. When I saw her, when 2 or 3 people before me were having their photos taken, I got so excited!!!! I couldn't believe she was there!!! Then my sister... and then ME!!!!!
I told her "I love you"and I hugged her, photo, and said goodbye stretching my arm to her and moving my hand to her... and that was it!!!! so short!!!! she even didn't know my name nor anyting!!! but she was so sweet and lovely!!!
So yeah, for the next time, autographs, meet & greet, and group photos MUST be included haha
I recommend it to everyone, if you can go to Wales or Indiana, please go!

Why Do We Love...
Shannen Doherty
We continue with this series called "Why Do We Love" in which we share the love for our muses on their birthday, and today is Shannen Doherty's turn!

It was the early 1990s, a Friday evening at our granny's. She was watching the telly, "Beverly Hills 90210", with the Spanish title "Sensación de Vivir" (roughly translated as Feel of Living). There was this beautiful tiny brunette girl called Brenda, who had a twin brother called Brandon, and she was passionate about acting, and she was trying her best to be a good student and a good girl, but sometimes, of course, she did mistakes. And we fell in love with her! Maybe because she was petite like us, or brunette like us, or was a twin like us!

Then we kind of "forget" her and, even we knew when we were teens that she was playing a good modern witch in Charmed, we didn't watch that show (I don't know why, since the subject was very appealing to us. Maybe our parents were watching something else on the telly at the time the show aired?). We were more focused on Drew Barrymore at that time, anyway.
But then, when we were in our late teens or early twenties, through a website I created for some of my favourite actresses, I "reconnected" with Shannen! And then I learnt she had been acting since she was 11, and that she had an amazing rock/grunge fashion sense when she was young!

We also found out that in the 1990s she was hated by many Hollywood men influencers, as she was a very strong and confident woman, she was always voicing her opinion and not everyone agreed, so they labelled her as difficult. She was also followed with the press everywhere all of the time. She made some mistakes and bad decisions, as she is human, but the tabloids were always there annoying her, which fe found very sad, as she was just a young girl who wanted to live from her dream, from her art and from her craft.

We finally re-watched all the 4 seasons of Beverly Hills in which Shannen was (the so called "Brenda Years"), and although today it looks very sexist (as Brandon can do what he wants and he is the good boy, while his sister Brenda always gets punished for things she does that are not as bad as her brother's), back in the day broke many stereotypes about teenagers and the issues they faced with friends, lovers, sex, alcohol, drugs, racism, sexism, animals rights... it was interesting to see that some things were very dated but some others were still very current subjects.

We also recently watched "Charmed", not only the first 3 seasons starring Shannen, but some others as well. It might have been one of the first TV shows for wide audiences about witches, demons, good/evil and special effects. I personally loved her Prue character, although not always agreed with her. She was the oldest sister and wanted to protect her younger sisters, and kept them together. I also like that they lived together in an old Victorian house in San Francisco. She was at her most beautiful in this TV show, and she also got to direct the last 3 episodes in which she appeared.

Shannen is also an activist and author, besides being an actress, director and model. She fights for animal rights, she is an animal lover since she was a little girl, and she supports the Sea Shepherd Sea Society. Shannen is a vegetarian and is against animal captivity.

Shannen is also a cancer survivor, she suffered a breast cancer in 2015 that went to remission on 2017 but came back on 2020. However, this hasn't stopped her acting or making her voice loud for animals' rights, people's rights (when her house was burned on a fire she sued the insurance company, and many other owners joined her), or actors' rights (recently she posted about how her acting union didn't support her when she was sick and couldn't work).

She is very strong and despite all the hate she has received and all the hardships she has endured, Shannen is a warm and lovely woman according to her fans, and she finally is receiving the love and recognition from press and people that she's always deserved. We met her very recently and we are very excited too!! She was very sweet and lovely!

Thankfully, Michael Keaton is on hand as Bill, bursting upon the movie scene. With Henry Winkler, Michael Keaton (he is great), Shelley Long.Get the movie: h. A nebbish of a morgue attendant gets shunted back to the night shift where. Mix this film's sense of freedom with Happy Days wholesomeness, and you have the best of Howard, Ganz, and Mandel's collaborations - Parenthood. One of the best scenes from a very funny 1982 movie. As seemingly "adult" as this film pretends to be, it is at heart the work of nice young boys who are enjoying the rush of talking dirty. His explanation of the root meaning of "prostitution" is a great example of schoolyard comedy. Costner as a frat boy in the morgue party scene (a non-speaking bit part), and Doherty plays a 'Blue Bell' (liken to a 'Girl Scout') in an elevator scene (with one line). Early screen roles for Kevin Costner and Shannen Doherty. Michael Keaton, in his first film role, is the spark of energy that allows them to break free he is like the older kid at school who teaches the younger kids the dirty words. First major Hollywood studio picture directed by Ron Howard. Winkler's character, who grows from a put-upon quiet "good" guy into an assertive man of action, feels like a symbol for the Happy Days alumni. Winkler plays a character as far away from Fonzie as one could imagine, while the writers pepper the material with jokes they could never have dreamed of getting away with on the small screen. After the death of their mother, two destitute brothers rob a service station in an attempt to pay off the mortgage on. Watch it on Prime Video, Redbox., Apple TV.
