I know it's AI generated. But I simply love how they look. Makes me wish for an actual Batman anime series. And they also look a lot like their Gotham counterparts!

Okay why do I like this?

The Suicide Squad Isekai is a title I never would have imagined and honestly I like it

Okay yeah Harley is as hot as usual

Like I love how she can go from "aw shucks ya making me blush" to "Im gonna rip ya god damn head off!"

She's adorable

No really look at her. She's insane and kinda evil but she's cute

Oh god no... is this Joker? Oh no he's hot!

And I love that he paints on a full on smile. Plus he drives his car with a piano

Plus this is made by Studio WIT so you know the animation is gonna be good. And written by Tappei Naggatsuki, the author of Re:Zero? Okay whoever was allowed to cook with this needs to keep cooking.

What could possibly make me have doubts about this project?

I forgot the Isekai part.

Okay I wanna stop talking about how good this looks and talk about a concern. Isekai is one of the more troubled anime genre's since they can be very repetitive, predictable, and boring. However with characters like the Suicide Squad I think it wont be like other isekai's. Now onto my next worry, the Squad and lack there of.

Yeah they are non existent. I know DC loves putting Harley on everything and she's the poster girl for the SS but this trailer hasnt shown anybody else. No Deadshot, no Kingshark, no Boomerang, no Flagg, Killer Croc, Enchantress, Polkadot man, no one besides Harley. So this feels more like a Joker and Harley show rather then a Suicide Squad show. However this is a 50 second teaser thats meant to hook in anime and DC fans so I think its understandable why they went all in for Harley. Maybe once we get more trailers and previews we'll get the other members. Well we did get one I'll show in a sec

On a much more postive note, my god the animation! ITS GLORIOUS! If you watch the part with Joker flipping the card, Harley jumping up and down, and the dragon it looks slick as hell.

Honestly im really excited for this. Im hoping the writing and story are good, I know thats asking ALOT when it comes to isekai anime but I gotta hope. For every generic isekai we get a Konosuba.

So DC is adding some manga to their roster. 

So DC is now going to infect manga with their modern politics. 

In My Adventures with Superman, before I started watching it, I came upon a short by a prominent anti-woke Youtuber and had a conversation with an anon in the comment section where I expressed my confusion as to why many are lamenting the sailor moon transformation of Clark, as if that one scene is all they need to know about the show. They said Soyperman, which really offended me.

I fucking hate the word soy attached to everything they don’t find cool. It really infuriates me now that I have watched the show itself. They are extremely mistaken, the critics of the show I have posted on my blog earlier have more substance than their fucking insults. They did mention his son, Jon Kent and I have my gripes with LGBT representation but that’s another story. 

So in those comments, someone said that DC going into anime is their way of infecting it with their wokeness. I doubt they have seen Radiant by Tony Valente but that is a manfra that  has black and muslim representation. I sincerely think that if that particular manfra gets adapted to a live-action film and is touted as a good manga adaptation many would contest it. I would understand why.

The manfra was made by a French dude who is western and made western ideas. Easily adaptable to the big screen. 

I digress, I am going off track so hard but to quickly summarize. YouTube short has a comment thread where someone said that DC going into anime and manga is their way to infect it with their ideas of progressivism. 

I would always point Radiant as a blueprint for how to handle progressive ideas without falling to the problem of being bad at it. Lack of nuance. Although I do admit, their was an arc in the manfra that made the stomach churning go up and up. I will explain that in a later post. I’ll need to re-read that. 

So yeah, I just want to say that many would now probably make vids about how DC is going to kill the anime industry by infecting it with wokeness (and not defining what is the woke thing in general because fuck defining things, right?) and if the Suicide Squad isekai becomes successful I cannot fathom the whining and the complaining that these fucks would do! Jesus.
