Yasmoon Mermaid AU

○I think of Yasmine as a siren in all honesty. Like, if she wanted to, she could lure fishermen to their deaths, but that's so outdated and tacky. That's what her great grandmother used to do. This is the modern day, so you won't catch her using her siren song to do anything but attract attention to herself from other merfolk.

○Moon and Yasmine have been best friends since they were guppies. They were each other's first kiss too. They have their own secret spots in coral reefs and sea caves and all sorts of places where they like to escape to just to be togehterm They're just so close, and you know what they say, marry your best friend.

○Everyone pretty much knew they were going to be together since forever. Mermaid!Sam is already planning their wedding and has been since their teenage years.

○Moon loves Yasmine with her entire being. She admires her sharp, claw-like nails and pointed teeth. She loves it when Yas nips her neck with those teeth, it makes her giggles.

○Meanwhile, Yasmine loves Moon's patches of scales up her arms and on her cheeks. She loves how Moon is her opposite, no sharp nails or teeth. Just gentle and soft in every way imaginable.

○In my head, and because I'm always indecisive and changing my mind, Yasmine has a golden tail with yellow highlight and Moon has a light purple tail with iridescent highlights. They are the physical embodiments of the sun and moon and I won't take any criticisms on that. They are my sun/moon power couple and that's that.

○Fun dates where they just hangout and make jewelry for each other. They use shells and pearls they find on the ocean floor, sometimes old pendants from lost jewelry that's been buried in the sand. It's been their thing for years and they love to gift each other they pieces. They wear them happily.

○Other dates they have include cuddles in their special places away from the other merfolk and going to the surface at night to stargaze.

○Fun and romantic dances through the water. They circle each other and twirl, showing their love to each other whilst also showing off to other merfolk. They don't have to perform these dances in public anymore, but Yasmine loves to remind everyone else that Moon is her mate and no one else can have her.

○When they live together, they make a lovely sea cavern their home. They decorate it with shiny pearls and gems and all their treasures they've collected other the years. It's beautiful and all theirs 💖

College Yasmoon Headcanons

A/N- hi @demetriandelibinaryboyfriends I’m tagging you in my yasmoon posts too now🫶🏻 I got some ideas and made a moodboard to match

Moon would be undeclared. She’d love to try out new subjects until she found a field of study that she really likes

Yasmine would probably do something in social media/marketing since she’s a heavy social media user and loves keeping up with trends

Since they both have the money, they’d live together off campus. Their favorite part of the day is waking up to or coming home to each other

They literally HAVE to study together all the time even if they’re learning about very different topics

They’re both very extroverted/social and would love to go to parties or sports events together to get into the school spirit

Lots of PDA on campus. Moon especially likes kissing in the library because it makes her feel like they’re in a movie or something

Neither of them are the most academic people but they don’t want the other to know that, so they study like ivy leaguers until someone (Yasmine) finally slacks off a little and they spend a lot more time relaxing together

They truly do help each other though, if one has a tough assignment the other will help out with time management by making coffee or cooking meals

At the end of a hard work day, Yasmine really likes to relieve stress by going down on Moon. This often means that they end up staying up later than they meant to

They just feel so free outside of The Valley. It isn’t like they ran away, it’s like they just finally let loose and now they get to be their best sapphic selves

OK MY GAY LIUTTLE IDIOT NERDS <3 love them so much i have very few headcanons bc i dont headcanon things that much but i still enjoy them a lot so here is what i have cobbled together from my brain.

after eli became "hawk" he tried to erase his "nerd" identity so he went in his room and tried to remove all the decorations. thing is some of them reminded him too much of demetri so he didn't take off all of them, so now his wall just has random fandom stuff on it spaced with seemingly no pattern. before it was very neatly organized, like a masonry of posters, but now there are just strangely placed posters. he never could actually build up the courage to get rid of the other things for good, so he just put them in a box and keeps them under his bed. he likes to look at them sometimes when he's sad

(cont.) when demetri and eli became friends again he put back up some of the old posters but realized he wasn't really into the things from before as much as he remembered cause they were an accumulation of his childhood so he and demetri went to the comic store and filled the remaining gaps with pages of comic books together. demetri originally was very against the man-on-comic violence but saw how cool it was so now he also has a comic wall.

demetri can't drive so eli will drive him around places when he needs to and sometimes they just aimlessly drive around talking and listening to the radio. both of them were unaware how much these were like dates because eli would drive demetri to his favorite places and things and it was just a very intimate time but both were like "yeah this is friend behavior"

their first kiss was definitely an accident and they did not know they had feelings for each other. they likely were sparring or something, very chill, when one of them tripped and they landed on each other and WOAH they kissed! and then they both were like shit shit shit shit shit until one of them (likely demetri) just said fuck it and went in for another one.

once they started dating no one knew the difference and (like yasmoon) they didn't tell anyone but it was not out of fear or ignorance, no. it was a massive, elaborate scheme. they slowly became more and more obvious about their relationship, waiting for how long it would take for the others to catch on. it got up to the kissing on the cheek stage before someone (likely miguel or smth) was like "just date already!". demetri would def give a blank stare like "we are???? did no one know???" like dead serious, eli would be fighting to hold in his laughter, and there would be mass confusion. they are chaos personified.

If they're dating Reader and wooing her, then I think Moon and Yasmine would wait a few dates before initiating a kiss. They want to make her comfortable in the idea of becoming a part of their relationship. So when they're sitting together in a dark corner of a restauran,, they both get this feeling that it's time. So Yasmine scoots closer to Reader and shares a look with Moon. She's not very subtle, so when she put a hand on Reader's thigh, she has to come out and say, "We really wanna kiss you."

It's honestly so cute and when they kiss, it's sweet. When they pull away from each other, Moon gently turns Reader's face to her and kisses her next. They're so gentle with Reader, soft lips and strawberry chapstick. Then they're kissing each other and giggling together.

The other idea leans into S1 Yasmine and Moon, when they're still in their mean girl phase and Reader is one of the girls they tease and mock. They laugh at her and make fun of her in public, but behind closed doors they are talking about all the things they want to do to her.

Then one day, they are taunting her in the library. Yasmine is being especially nasty and pinching Reader's fatty arms and sides. Moon is teasing by playing with Reader's hair, laughing in her ear, but looses herself for a moment and kisses Reader's neck. It makes the girl jump and look at her weirdly. Everything devolves from there, with Yasmine saying stuff like, "You're not gonna return the favor? Ya know, we've been thinking about you for a while now. It seems a little rude that you disregard us like that."

Next thing they now, Yasmine is sitting on Reader's lap and kissing her hard, switching off between her and Moon. When Moon wants a turn, she pulls Reader out of the heavy kiss with Yas just to take her place. It's a lot and Reader has to catch her breath when she has the few seconds between kisses, submissive to their mean girl power.

Concept: Meangirl!YasMoon on the cheer team, prior to or during Season 1. At games, in between every cheer set, they're whispering off to the side and roasting the entire audience into oblivion.

After games, amidst all the commotion, Yasmine and Moon always seem to vanish. The other girls on the team are like "hey, where'd they go?" and they're under the bleachers or off in some hallway, making out like there's no tomorrow XD

I can totally see this 👀

Yasmine lives to make Moon laugh and so when they're making fun of the audience, she makes sure to point out the things that she knows will make her giggle. Their arms are linked and they're only really talking to each other in hushed whispers. In some twisted sort of school spirit, they also make fun of the cheerleaders and players from the other school.

Also, the potential for jealous Yasmine is so potent in this because you just know football players and such are always trying to flirt with Moon. She kind of basks in that attention they give her but she just goes along with it until they have to go away and she forgets about them. But Yasmine doesn't forget them. She hates them with a burning passion because that's her girl. All the while she gets the same treatment from guys and just ignores them because she's too busy looking at Moon.

After games, they totally sneak away to makeout with each other away from the rowdy crowd and flirty football players. They giggle the whole time and play with each other's skirts. Moon seriously can't keep her hands still, they have to be on Yasmine in some way, usually on her thighs and up her skirt, but sometimes up her cheer top. If it's been a night with a lot of unwanted flirting from guys, Yasmine is extremely dominant in the makeout session and Moon does not mind one bit. She never intends on making Yas jealous, she's kind of waiting for the moment to make the football players feel dumb for flirting with her, but she loves being laid on a bench, Yasmine on top of her, telling her how she's hers. I low-key headcanon that Yasmine secretly has a stuffed animal that she was gifted from Moon. She doesn't have it on her bed or even in her room on display. She has a walk-in closet where she puts it up on one of her shelves. Sometimes when she's alone she will go into her closet and just hold it.

(Also feel like she may be the kinda person to secretly be like “I want to call -insert person- but I just called them so I shouldn’t call them again.” So she gets lonely sometimes, hugging and holding the stuffed animal makes her feel better when she can’t call Moon)
