Wordgirl Villain Birthday Headcanons

Okay so, I'm going into this with the assuumption that the show starts in 2006 since that's when it came out.

Let's start with Tobey since he's the only one with a canon age, also he was my favorite when I was a kid.

Theodore "Tobey" McCallister

Birthday: October 3rd, 1995

Age: 10

Reason: Just strikes me as a fall baby. I think his birthday would be 7 months earlier than Becky's. I headcanon that her earth birthday is the day that the Botsfords found her since they wouldn't know her real birthday and I assume that Lexicon has a different year length and month cycle, so Bob wouldn't be able to translate it to Earth's.

Bonus Headcanon: Tobey's parents are separated. He and Claire left England when he was 4 or 5 while his father remained.

Let's keep the ball rolling with the child villians.

Victoria Best

Birthday: January 1st, 1996

Reason: Of course she would be a New Years baby, it's the ~best~ birthday of course.

Bonus Headcanon: Her and Eileen met at a villian convention and became sort of besties.

Eileen the Birthday Girl

Birthday: Everyday

(Real) Birthday: September 17th, 1995

Reason: It's revealed in one episode that her real birthday is the same as Violet's (this doubles as my Violet birthday headcanon), the season ain't obvious in the episode, but I would say September just cause of ✨️vibes✨️.

Bonus Headcanon: Her last name is O'Neil. Her parents are business people who don't see her often so they substitute real parenting for lavish gifts and a birthday everyday (she gets an extra bonus headcanon because it's her birthday).

Captain Tanget

Birthday: June 15th, 1989

Age: 17

Reason: His wiki says he's a teenager and his behavior backs that up. Summer birthday because that's the best birthday for piracy.

Bonus Headcanon: I saw a fic where they made his government name Connor Read and I like it and think it really fits, so I'm adooting that headcanon too!

Amazing Rope Guy

Birthday: April 13th, 1984

Age: 22

Reason: In 1984, April 13th was a Friday! This man got some chronic bad luck so I thought it would be funny.

Bonus Headcanon: He was in marching band in high school and played the Clarinet.

Chuck the Evil Sandwich Making Guy

Birthday: November 3rd, 1981

Age: 25

Reason: November 3rd is Sandwich Day.

Bonus Headcanon: He and Brent share a birthday (Brent's being 5 years earlier) and Chuck HATES it.

The Butcher

Birthday: July 19th, 1960

Age: 46

Reason: Middle aged king, he also says he hasnt even lived 50 years so I assume he was at least in his late 30s. Also July 19th is hotdog day!

Bonus Headcanon: His government name is Butch Agricolo.

Lady Redundant Woman (A.K.A. Beatrice Bixby)

Birthday: March 3rd, 1973

Age: 33

Reason: LDR seems to love doing things in threes so I assume it's her lucky number, and 3/3 makes it redundant.

Bonus Headcanon: She only watches movies that have remakes.

Dr. Two-Brains (Formerly known as Dr. Steven Boxleitner)

Birthday: August 13th, 1971

Age: 35

Reason: It is confirmed that he is middle aged and he also canonically has at least one PhD and a Masters so he'd have to be at least 30. August 13th was a Friday in 1971 and I think it funny that he also has an unlucky birthday.

Bonus Headcanon: He is a Physcist and an Engineer!

Funny Headcanons.

-Dr. Two Brains both bought him and Becky matching parent-child shirts. These shirts specifically say "Just a Normal Looking, Human Family". They wear it just cause.

-Becky at one point in her childhood will have officially tasted every type of food made with cheese that is in existence on Earth. So will Bob.

-Scoops finds Dr. Two Brains scarier as a parent than as a villain.

-Dr. Two Brains is often a designated driver for Becky and her friends since the other parents have jobs that makes them work a set of hours per week. He drives them to Pretty Princess movies and other places where most people would not expect the villain to show up.

-Two Brains still does tea parties with Becky and Bob. He gets the Henchmen involved so he doesn't have to be the only adult at the table, but the Henchmen love doing the tea parties as much as Becky and Bob do.

Wholesome and Family Headcanons

-Before Bedtime, if Becky falls asleep on the couch, Two Brains carries her on his back like a parent mouse and takes her up to bed.

-For one Halloween, Becky and her class decided to dress up as Wordgirl and her gallery of Villains. Violet dressed up as Wordgirl since most of the class agreed that she looks like her a lot. Becky dressed up as her dad. Two Brains had a hard time taking her picture while crying tears of pride.

-During the "Henchmen Appreciation Day" episode, Becky stole all of the pony and unicorn stickers. The police don't even suspect her.

-The only illegal thing that Steven has done involving Becky is forging documents for her to get into school since he did find her in a forest only with a monkey.

-Becky does not like thunderstorms and rainstorms. She stays close with her dad until the storms blow over. He comforts her through singing.

-If and when Becky does dance, Two Brains sometimes mimics her dance moves so she won't feel bad about her dancing skills.

Angst Headcanons 😈

-Becky does not feel anything for her bio alien parents. She does want to visit Lexicon to learn more about her culture, but does not want to visit her bio family. They had more than a decade to find her, she wonders why they haven't yet?

-Becky has nightmares about Miss Power killing Dr. Two Brains which really upset her. Two Brains has nightmares about Miss Power manipulating Wordgirl and killing her off when she tries to rebel.

-Becky somewhat blames herself for Steven's accident and wishes she were there to prevent things.

-For the amazing cheese and the experimental cheese ship, Steven has never discussed with Becky his past relationships before her adoption. He feels it's too painful to talk about the past.

-Dr. Two Brains hates seeing his child be upset and crying. He feels really guilty seeing Becky so upset after his accident and when he allowed Squeaky to take over for a while.

UHMN... Okay so I made him up a family tree because I've been thinking about his niece a lot. And the fact he still seems on good terms with her even if it was a super brief mention. D2b family HCs?! 🤯

I ALSO COLOUR CODED IT BASED ON WHAT I THINK HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM WOULD BE (AS A RESULT OF NO LONGER BEING STEVEN) I DON'T EVEN KNOW DON'T QUESTION ME

I also wanted to.. Uhmn.. Explain each relationship he has with these family members but just to clarify let me explain the colours more-!

Green || A good relationship, hardly affected by him becoming Dr. Two-brains.

Orange || It's.. Ify. They don't really like him anymore, nobody down right hates him. It's more pity, and distancing themselves from him because of how much he's changed and or because of his crimes.

Yellow || Complicated! They're noticeably affected by the change, but don't dislike him like the oranges. Very concerned. Don't really view his crimes as his.

// FAMILY DYNAMICS / RELATIONSHIPS //

Dad – His dad and him were fairly close when he was Steven, not exactly best buddies but they would talk normally and do stuff together on occasion. No hard feelings about anything. Probably bonded over science a lot when he was a kid. After Steven became Dr. Two-brains and began crimes he feels his son is well. What he is. A criminal. Not taking into account the reasons why, and not having the willingness to reach out to who his son used to be. He wants him imprisoned, for an actual normal amount of time, and for him to stop his life of crime after completing the sentencing. And come back to them. As Steven. Of course they all want Steven back, but he's the least accepting of the new identity.

Mom – He also had a normal relationship with his mother, maybe a bit closer because I imagine her the type to coddle. She misses Steven deeply, and doesn't really understand who or what Dr. Two-brains is. Finding interaction with him awkward and uncomfortable but not wanting to abandon her son for an incident/experiment gone wrong. Tries to talk to him normally, but there's a difference. And they both know it.

Sister – his only sibling! I think they were very very close siblings, and still are, she obviously misses her brothers old ways but does her best to ignore the change and it doing a better job than their mother. They hang out, talk, and still interact like family. Where as others act more as though he's a stranger. Reminds him of a lot of old memories to try to keep that side of him going.

Brother in law – they didn't really know one another beforehand, they had met, but not bonded. His brother in law worries having a criminal around his children, despite Two-brains displaying absolutely zero threat to them it is understandable. Avoids him but will talk to him if interacted with. I feel like he calls d2b “buddy” in a really condescending way. His sister has told him about what he used to be like and he believes her but it doesn't help.

Niece and Nephew – Good! In canon he seems to be on a good relationship with his niece, given the mention of her graduation being a normal thing. I imagine the same for his nephew who is younger than his niece. They remember how he was before, they think Steven is more fun. But are both worried in their own ways.

Uncle – I think our resident weird uncle had a weird uncle of his own! Had to learn the trade from someone. Dynamic is about the same as his mother, but a but more open and joking with d2b. Also trying to keep his memories intact.

Cousin – they were friends beforehand, not best buds that talked a lot but they had an okay relationship. Now the cousin is a bit scared of him but tries to uphold the positive memories and realizes that he can still be normal sometimes.

As for Dr. Two-brains himself he feels bad for creating a noticeable shift in his family and loves them all, still acting like their family member. Just a very different one. Squeaky doesn't like them, I imagine, but Steven over powers in this regard.

Do you ever think about how the villains must be low-key terrified of Rhyme?

Here comes another superhuman probably an alien lady out of the blue who's got similar powers to and is around the same level of strength as Word Girl and Miss Power. She can't fly, but her frost breath is practically ten times as strong as Word Girl and Miss Power's combined. And one of the first things she did when arriving in Fair City was to destroy a huge chunk of it in a grief motivated rampage after a friendship fallout. Not even Miss Power did that much property damage.

And she had witnesses. Amazing Rope Guy was among the crowd of people watching Rhyme mercilessly kicking Word Girl's ass. Pretty sure that's Dave in there too so he was probably talking about it to Lady Redundant Woman first thing during her shift the next day so that's how she found out.

Dr Two Brains, Chuck, Tobey, The Butcher, Granny May were bound to have witnessed the aftermath of the destruction during their giant robot collaboration.

Long story short the entire Villains Society would probably be freaking the fuck out, thinking that Miss Power 2.0 had arrived.

Even long after Rhyme proves herself to be a sweet and bubbly and airheaded persona, in the back of their minds, everybody is probably thinking "This woman could kill me with zero effort."

- tobey is the type of person to say "android is better than apple!!" and argue with anyone who disagrees with him or tells him that those arguments are ridiculous

- since the show possibly takes place in the early 2010s, the kids participated in early 2010s trends like silly bands, rainbow loom and drawing those "S" things in their notebooks

- the adult villains all like rock music, like two brains likes system of a down, chuck and whammer like slipknot and butcher and lrw like nirvana

- chuck goes on facebook to share random sandwich recipes and vague post about brent

- the henchmen share the same birthday, so two brains throws big surprise parties for them each year and invites all the other villains (and wordgirl)

- two brains blasts loud 2000s dubstep music when the henchmen aren't around

- tobey can hijack the school computers and get through the firewalls that block game websites, and he teaches becky how to do it too

- when chuck and his mom go grocery shopping, chuck is too shy to say what he wants to his mom so he just stands behind her like a shadow

- whenever becky and bob see one of the villains in public doing normal things (shopping and actually paying for their stuff, wearing casual clothing, going for walks) they BOLT out of there real quick and the villain(s) they saw are like "😨 did i scare them"

maybe its just me but i always saw maria/energy monster as trans. like she chose her own name, and had to tell people about it but they still often dont use it. and she gets misgendered constantly. and LOOK how happy she is to have bows in her hair !!
