hiiiii! i'm kat (she/her) and this is my son wooseok!

i'm super excited to be here and really looking forward to plotting!!

i will probably be faster to reply on disc (thegongoozler) but tumblr ims are fine too if you prefer. you can find his about here. i'm still working on his bio, but it's in a sort of bulleted form here for a basic timeline!

y'all know the drill. infodump and potential plots under the cut!

wooseok was born in new york city and lived there until he was about 12, so he's fluent in english as well as korean (his parents raised him speaking both).

wooseok is an only child, and as such, his parents were always heavily involved in his business, for better or for worse. (usually for worse)

he's still kinda scared of his dad but that's another story.

as far as they know, he's just doing a single program for comp sci, but he picked up the dual degree for music theory ... haha oops

follow your passions, kid (he feels very guilty for lying.)

wooseok's power is telepathy, it manifests for him in two ways: hearing others' thoughts and memory viewing

hearing others' thoughts happens automatically (when he doesn't have a patch), and can very quickly get overwhelming

as such, wooseok likes to keep the patch on as much as possible. it's really hard to enter a room and hear like 20 people as if they're talking aloud

"hey wooseok, you ok?" "I Can't Hear You" (the room is silent)

he's trying to get better at dealing with it/tuning some voices out, because he knows using the patch as often as he does isn't safe. when he really focuses, he can sometimes get them to quiet to a manageable level, but it never completely goes away, and it takes a lot of brainpower.

he doesn't know this for sure, but practice does make perfect in this case! come, be his friend, help him grow! make him practice instead of just hiding!

so the first time he used a patch was like the first time he experienced silence and he's still chasing that high

the secondary application of his telepathy--the memory viewing--is more of an ordeal. it requires sustained physical contact, is very tiring, etc

for subplot, he's the treasurer for together for daehan! realistically, his thoughts/opinions fall somewhere between the two groups, but he's been in this position for a while and... he doesn't like change.

generally he's a friendly guy, and he wants to make more friends.

he can sometimes come across as standoffish though because when that patch starts to run out he has a short period of time before things get too overwhelming (or he's just focusing really hard on keeping others quiet)

potential wanted plots...

wooseok needs friends, particularly friends who won't let him get away with cancelling plans as much as he probably does

as mentioned above, friends that help him to practice being okay without nullivi could be fun!

people who are musically inclined to do jam sessions with and bond over music!

he really loves video games and WILL play them with your muse! he will also ask if they want to play fun little games he coded as projects.

friend who would see him slapping a fresh patch on super fast and be like "dude is that safe"

idk there's always shenanigans with telepathy/hearing thoughts. if your muse so much as thinks a compliment he's gonna blush so that's fun

hello thereeeeeeeee, por acá dam o/ presentando a uno de dos torbellinos. dejaré unos cuántos hc para que se hagan una idea de cómo era en su adolescencia y cómo pudo haberse llevado con sus monitos, que ahora cambió bastante pero en finnnn.

de niño era muuuy introvertido, cuando entró al campamento sólo hablaba y andaba revoloteando cerca de su hermano mayor que es yun woosik.

a como pasaron los años fue tomando un poquito más de valentía, comenzó a ser más independiente y a tener sus propios amigues (antes de eso sólo se llevaba con los amigues de su hermano). por cierto, los amigues del hermano seguro siempre lo molestaban y le hacían bromas pesadas.

su habilidad especial sale porque el papá algunos tratos los cerraba en este tipo de actividades, está metido en la política y así. (la bio ya la dejé en los links del blog, al igual que su tablero de pinterest y etc.)

la familia es bastante religiosa, así que a wooseok le ha costado muchisimo aceptar que también se siente atraído por los hombres; de hecho aún no lo acepta, lucha contra su propia naturaleza.

está comprometido peroooooooooo no es nada más allá de un contrato, algo que le conviene tanto a su familia como la de la mujer.

ahora no es nada introvertido, es medio serio porque el ambiente familiar lo llevó a ser así. es muuuuuuuuy meterialista y siempre ve primero por sus necesidades.

Originally born in Seoul, South Korea to businessman Wooseok Kang and wife Jennifer Kang, Sasha had a relatively normal life as a child. The move to Hidehill was to be close to Jennifer and Wooseok’s families once again as this was where they grew up.

Horwick was where she lived the bulk of her life, spending her days trying to make something of herself. Her parents had certain dreams for her but they were never too forceful or pushy about it.

It was when she was ten years old that her life would change forever. One drunken driver wiped out both of her parents, leaving money in a trust fund for Sasha when she grew up.

Still, she tried to be the perfect daughter to her now deceased parents. Not only did she excel as a cheerleader, she was one of the top students in her class.

Bouncing around to different family members’ homes post-parents passing, she ended up staying with Heather Jones and this was because she was having issues with her aunt.

When she was just fifteen years old, she’d fallen pregnant with her daughter Zehra and to this day, she claims to her daughter is in fact her best friend and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She never told the father though, because she was afraid of how he would’ve reacted. Instead, she kept it a secret for as long as she could and broke up with him shortly after.

By the time it was obvious she was pregnant, they’d already been apart for many months and no one really thought to draw it back to the actual father of the child.

She went on to work at Mel’s diner, climbing her way up the ranks until she was manager, all the while auditioning for various sports teams’ cheerleading teams. She found a home with the Titans.

Many were shocked to hear that she still had to work at the diner, though. The pay was never great as a professional cheerleader, even with the hours that are needed to ensure a seamless performance.

Though she lives in Hadley, she makes the best of what she has and has even moved into a nicer, two bedroom mobile home within the park to give her pre-teen daughter the privacy and space she needs.

Biografia:

A família Moon desde sempre esteve metida no que mais de obscuro o mundo poderia oferecer, tinham assassinos, agiotas e traficantes, inclusive essa que era a especialidade dos pais de Jiung. As conexões sempre foram importantes para a família e foi os pais de Jiung que conseguiram uma importante parceria com a máfia japonesa, possibilitando a importação e exportação de drogas por toda a ásia. Foi assim que desde pequeno, cresceu rodeado pela criminalidade e sem qualquer chance de encarar o mundo de uma forma diferente.

Os Moon sempre foram calculistas e gananciosos, buscando qualquer oportunidade para aumentar as riquezas que possuíam. Dessa forma fundaram uma empresa especializada em equipamentos hospitalares e por baixo dos panos a usavam como parte dos negócios ilegais que faziam.

Cresceu rodeado por riquezas, frequentando melhores colégios e até uma universidade de renome em Londres, a Imperial College onde cursou Economia. Se tinha algo que os Moon valorizavam, era conhecimento e isso sempre foi primordial a todos na família. Quando terminou a faculdade, voltou para a Coreia e fez uma pós-graduação na SNU.

Sempre foi muito discreto sobre a vida pessoal, claro - tinha motivos suficientes para isso, por isso teve poucos amigos e relacionamentos amorosos. Nunca deu tanta importância para nada disso e assim continua, foi criado para dar segmento aos negócios da família e assim o faria, mesmo que nem sempre concordasse com tudo. Hoje a empresa de equipamentos hospitalares possui filiais em outras cidades e até em outros países, se tornando a líder do segmento na Coreia do Sul. Os pais cuidam da filial no Japão, bem como de parte dos negócios envolvendo o tráfico, enquanto Jiung comanda a matriz em Seul, focado no crescimento da empresa e em formas de manter o que é ilegal no escuro.

Se mudou para Acropolis pois os pais já possuíam uma moradia lá, mas não usavam desde a mudança para o Japão. Conhecendo a fama do condomínio e o quanto era seguro, além de ser próximo da matriz, resolveu se mudar para lá e deixar a pequena cobertura que vivia até então. Era uma residência muito grande para viver sozinho, chegava a ser solitário, mas como passava boa parte do tempo trabalhando não chegava a ser exatamente um problema, estava se acostumando já.
