how seventeen spends their christmas

seungcheol:

- has a light up christmas sweater with a badly printed reindeer on it

- ended up being in charge of the christmas tree

- got heLLA stressed because of it and wanted it to be perfect

- very picky about the ornaments (only the red ones and some silver and gold)

- almost had a heart attack when jeonghan started juggling the glass ornaments

- gives everyone crappy christmas presents but with good intention

jeonghan:

- makes christmas as an excuse to eat as many cookies as he wants

- wanted to decorate the christmas tree but got lazy so he just told the rest of the group what to do while he was lying around

- doesn't even try with christmas presents

- like you're lucky if you even get one

- if anything it's a gift card

- maybe a scarf or glove he picked up in the dollar store on the way

- tricked mingyu into letting him taste test all of the food before everyone else

joshua:

- has unique and personalized gifts for every family member

- stresses out on gifts 3 months before

- likes to play soft instrumental christmas carols in the background all the time

- makes everyone sing silent night at least three times

- also the one who steals the cookies

- wanted an angel on the christmas tree instead of a star but no one let him

- so he switched it himself in the middle of the night when no one was looking

jun:

- probably has mistletoes on every corner of the house

- gives you the look if you end up under it

- seungcheol took some away when it started getting to much but he just went and bought even more

- a SUCKER for rudolph the red nose reigndeer

- cries when rudolph gets bullied

- "wait until santa adopts him little bitches, who's gonna be the winner then HUH"

- probably one of the only ones getting drunk that night

- also probably twerks to jingle bells if he did get drunk

- highkey regrets everything he's ever done when he wakes up and decides to make everyone late christmas cards as an apology

soonyoung:

- owns a couple christmas sweater with wonwoo

- wears a santa hat all the time, will never take it off unless forced

- wanted to dress up as santa and trick the kids but got caught by chan

- always sings "jingle bells batman smells"

- never stops smiling, always happy during christmas time because yay presents

- gets so excited about receiving presents that he forgets to buy them for the others

- makes up an excuse and gets away with it every time

wonwoo:

- owns a couple christmas sweater with soonyoung but never wears it

- only there for the food

- got everyone a book he thought would suit them (he gave soonyoung a bible; joshua approved)

- fastest one to switch from christmas season to new years

- wanted to make jihoon dress up as an elf but was too afraid

- made a gingerbread man replica of every seventeen member

- and ate them

jihoon:

- "merry christless"

- pretends not to care about christmas but

- everyone saw his studio covered in stockings and christmas lights

- always wears at least one item of green or red during christmas season

- loves to have mini light up christmas trees around the house

- looks like he doesn't give a shit about the holidays but

- also spent an excessively long time in stores looking for gifts for everyone

- "it's just a coincidence, i just happened to buy this gift you wanted for like a month you know"

seokmin:

- the only clothes in his closet are red and green ugly sweaters

- has a few christmas pun shirts

- wished for a kazoo for christmas

- he didn't get one

- gave a half off lunch coupon to soonyoung that he found in his pocket when it was time to give presents

- screams at the top of his lungs when it's 12am on the 25th

- loves to sing christmas songs everyone's lowkey sick of

mingyu:

- bakes too many gingerbread cookies

- too much of everything really

- made a gingerbread house last year but everyone destroyed it before he got to eat it so he decided not to anymore

- was in charge of putting the star on the christmas tree but he tripped on a present and broke the entire tree

- they had to buy a new one

- ended up being locked up in the kitchen to make food instead

minghao:

- absolutely ADORES candycanes

- bought a box to share but he ended up eating them all

- "hey are you going to eat that" "uh, maybe lat-" "okay thanks"

- very into the classic christmas songs such as "let it snow", "it's the most wonderful time of the year" and "santa tell me"

- volunteered to help set up and be a good kid but he didn't really do anything

seungkwan:

- everyone hates him during christmas

- will not sHUT UP

- #1 advocate for "all i want for christmas is you"

- suggests doing secret santa

- "i like the thrill of it"

- first one to spill the beans

- stays up all night waiting for santa on christmas eve and makes all of dongsang line stay up with him

- first one to fall asleep

vernon:

- doesn't pay attention to anything ever

- "oh it's christmas?"

- gave everyone his mixtape for christmas

- the only thing he helped with was putting a gift into his own stocking

- but no actually, he is very sweet

- made everyone cookies he made and decorated himself

- they were burnt, but it’s the thought that counts

chan:

- told everyone he doesn't believe in santa

- but secretly stayed up all night to look for him

- eventually falls asleep

- also wrote a long ass letter to santa asking if he was a on the naughty list

- soonyoung likes to make it a joke of getting the chan the same gift 4 years in a row

- chan hates it, it’s not funny

- keeps sharpened candycanes in his pocket at all times

Soulmate!Wonwoo || Temperature

Pairing: SVT Jeon Wonowoo X Reader

Theme: Soulmate AU

A/N: belated HAPPY WONWOO DAY ! heres a short (?) Soulmate wonwoo FF, im not proud of execution but I like my idea hueheuehu. Maybe an after story :) God bless and Happy Readings !

A soulmate AU where you feel each other’s temperature! Like, yeah sure you feel and have your own temperature but sometimes the other is quite overpowering.

Like you could be in a ice skating rink, but your partner is suffering a terrible fever, so you feel the weird warm discomfort as well.

Or when its summer, and your AC isn't working, but your partner is in a very cold wonderland place, so you get the chilly feeling too.

It could also apply to sense of touch, or a part of your body feels warmer or colder than the rest of your body. Like when holding a warm cup of coffee, or that cold toilet seat in public restrooms; eww.

The connection is still not very clear, unlike other connections. So is still being researched and tested for its other variables that may affect the two people.

The discovery of what was your connection was when, a polar scenario happened. Wonwoo were out with his friends getting something cool to drink,as he were grabbing his cold beverage it felt oddly warm to the touch. He must’ve gotten the wrong order, but there ain't no other Wonwoo other than him. They say he’s crazy but he swears it's really a warm ice coffee. One of his friends so concluded that he has the temperature soulmate connection.

After hearing that idea, and maybe testing some things he then becomes more aware of the things he touches or the temperatures he is in, making sure soups aren’t so hot, or places aren’t too cold, being careful as to his soulmate might accidentally get hurt or uncomfortable. And the mystery soulmate did the same.

There was a time he accidentally touched a boiling pot, and the sharp burning sensation just shoots right from the tip of his pointer finger and to his hand. Wonwoo hissed in pain and rushes to quickly get a cold pack from the fridge, but not long after a cold crawly feeling envelops his fingers then rising to his palms, the burn subsides and his hand cooly numbs away. It must be you, his soulmate, he thought. looking out for him. He softly smiles to himself while looking at his hand. A faint warm feeling passes by the skin of his wrist and tips of his lips, a tint of red and warmth spreads against his cheeks, but is the blush his or his soulmate’s ?

Wonwoo was out and wanted to buy the newly released game. He was already fired up to finally get a copy. he waited outside the shop even when it was piping hot !

He finally gets in, the AC blowing against his face instantly flushing away his heated feeling, but he still felt warm, He would even feel a bead of sweat roll down his neck.

He gets to the shelf where the games were displayed. there was only one left, It feels fated he thinks to himself. Reaching out to it, his hand accidentally brushes against someone else's, sorry you both murmur to each other.

The person’s fingers itching and eyes directed to the game, very interested. Wonwoo’s face contorts, as too he has a rival today.

“Are you getting that?” Wonwoo asks the person, they shyly nods. Their head shadowed under a bright cap and hair neatly tucked behind the ears. Wonwoo notices their fingers, scratching its nails. A weird warm heated feeling envelopes Wonwoo, the heat of nervousness.

Wonwoo sort of, feels anxious and bad too, if he were to just take the cd and run off, so he decided to do something he least expected.

“Well,,, I guess you can have it???” Wonwoo hesitantly says while scratching the back of his neck. The person’s head lifts up, eyes wide, mouth ajar and obviously surprised. Wonwoo was caught off guard, as this person was quite pretty; cute nose and pretty eyes with bright lips. His face written with lovestruck in bold and caps letter all over and speechless.

“Really, you'd let me have it ?” Wonwoo’s heart starts to race and warm feeling takes over, but its not the regular heat he feels. It feels tender, soft and warm, from the inside(?)

“Uh, y-yeah” he stutters, his cheeks faintly tinting red and same goes for the person in front of him. Her eyes glimmer from the fluorescent light hanged above the ceiling. Wonwoo holds unto the fabric on his chest tightly, just above his heart trying to push down the exploding heart,

Her hand moves over her to the left side of her chest. She bows repeatedly and thanking Wonwoo, just before grabbing the game, and running off to the cashier to purchase. Wonwoo still stood there with a far look, and hand still over his chest where the inner warm feeling is radiating from.

When wonwoo got home he still remembered the girl at the game store, and how is temperature went really haywire, it's a bit gone now, the warmth. He yawns to his hand,

“I hope my, soulmate… is ok,Im sorry for warming up too much” and he falls into slumber.

He wakes up the next day with a feeling of a warm butt/thighs and warm hands, he looks at his two hands and look at them with eyebrows arched,

“What is my soulmate doing that her butt would be this warm ??”

...He tries not to get too deep in thought.

It's been some weeks since the release of the game, and sadly, the stores have been out of stock of the specific game. Wonwoo sits outside a shop, sighing heavily at the loss and, rethinking if he should’ve not let the girl have the last copy. His right palm feels cold and concludes that his soulmate has went out to get a freezy drink, well who wouldn’t in this heat ?

He places the cold palm to his cheek and melts to it, His face smooshed and his glasses tipping off the bridge of his nose.

“E-excuse me?” A soft voice speaks, and Wonwoo looks up, and sees a figure with a sun hat on, a bag at one hand and a slurpee at the other,

“You’re him right ? The guy from the game shop few weeks ago ?” She talk so friendly. Wonwoo then to realises it’s the girl from back then and nods,

“Uh, yeah” Wonwoo was awe struck again, He chuckles awkwardly

“I Knew it !” She perks up, excited, “I was just walking by and I saw you! I was like, that’s the guy right ? The guy from the game store? And I was like maybe I should come by, say hi and-“ she keeps on babbling, speaking whatever. It was, amusing, her slurpee seems to almost spill due to her wide hand gestures.

“- then I saw you with your cheek squished and thought how cute you looked-” she covers her mouth and freezes. Exchanging awkward silence and stares.

“What ?” Wonwoo says lowly,

“Ah, nothing ! It’s nothing ! HAHAHAHA” she laughs aloud and her cheeks warming up, and so does Wonwoo’s cheeks.

Someone then bumps into the girl, dropping everything she was carrying onto the ground; even the slurpee.

“Oh dear” she says, and quickly crouches down to pick her stuff. Wonwoo immediately stands but then stops as something suddenly felt off with him. His right hand isnt cold anymore.

He snaps out of trance and helps the girl in front of him. Picking the stuff one by one. Your hands touch, Wonwoo and the girl quickly retract their hands to themselves, saying sorry right after. Both of your cheeks flush red and abruptly stand. You stood next to each other, quite too close for your liking.

The weird heat comes back again, the heat he feels when his heart goes a million miles a second.

The girls holds her chest tightly, which then Wonwoo feels his hand warm.

She turns around and hits her chest.

“Soulmate?! What could you be doing now that my chest is so warm ??”

She whisper shouts then turns back around with an innocent smile,

“Well, I need to go” she extends a hand, “hope to see you again mr. ??”

“Ah, Wonwoo” he lightly shakes her hand, every so gently. He then feels this weird electrifying sensation at his palms, it felt nice and like for the first time since for a long time, it was “one.” It felt familiar yet new, comforting yet scary but it was oh so tender.

“And you are ?” He asks

“YoNa” you smile,
