People have pointed out that Zuko goes from grunting a lot when fire bending to then being calmer and more fluid with his bending after meeting the dragons but no one has talked about Aang's air bending

In the first couple episodes he does this thing where he scrunches up his nose to do a big move with air, but by the end of the series he's pulling off theses amazing moves with little effort shown

I reached another follower milestone so I just wanted to thank everyone who has followed me, recently or from the beginning. It's always surprised me that anyone wants to read what I write, I mean, I started doing this in my very late 30s and really just did it to get the stories out of my head. I guess you're never too old to find a new hobby. Oh and damn Henry and the amazing characters he's created for being such an awesome inspiration.

We just cooked and ate our first home grown corn (or, the first successful try at least), and now I get why US Southerners call it sweet corn. It’s SO SWEET, way sweeter than any corn I’ve ever had from any grocery store, cob or canned.

We have a ton more to harvest and eat, so if anyone has any tips on good ways to prepare and eat corn on the cob hmu!  We cooked it sous vide style with some butter, and it turned out really nice and tender, but I’d love to hear other ideas for how to serve it.
