I've talked about these things a lot on this blog, so a lot of this might be repeated things I've talked about before, but I've always said that I've described my experiences as "identity hyperfixations", where I latch onto things, even just Words that I find myself really liking, and an "identity" is "created" based around that Thing.

For some examples from my personal experiences!:

A lot of the time, these "identity hyperfixations" involve me latching onto media, particularly whatever current media we may or may not be interested in in the moment.

There's a game called Stray Gods: the Roleplaying Musical (pls play it omg pls-nJFNDSK). We were very attached to that game for a while when it came out and we found out about it. We particularly grew attached to the character Calliope and for about maybe 2 weeks or so? I thought about using the name Calliope at times, and I painted my nails yellow to match the color of her nails in the game. I wanted to dress like her and overall you can see where this is all going lmfao

Or recently where we were very attached to Splatoon (it's our main special interest, but the way we feel, play, and interact with the game and fandom and such online differs per parts!!) and 'I' identified as an octoling and just thought of myself with the name Octo, mostly as a placeholder because I couldn't think of anything better, but I grew to like it lmfao. Ofc I am always interested in Splatoon, but recently I was just much more interested in it and particularly interested in specific aspects and such, even ended up creating another blog, a Splatoon-centered blog that also functions as a sort of vent/DID-related blog (it's @annaki-octo if anyone wants to check it out lol)

You can, again, see where this is going. Incoming long post. Because I can never make a short post lmfao

I should also mention that, in the past, I often wouldn't actually ever use a different name, and I still don't, but I've more recently been doing that for a bit now because we're starting to get used to it and be okay with it and honestly it's been beneficial. But yeah, most of my life, I usually didn't outright actually use any separate names outwardly with people, and didn't even really realize that I was choosing different names for myself in the first place because I thought that I was just creating characters. And if I DID end up outwardly using a different name, it was excused as me choosing a different name because I'm trans or making up a "fake online pseudonym" for "privacy" reasons. It has never been any different to me than creating a character. It's still not.

This is basically EXACTLY what my experience is like, day-to-day/week-to-week/month-to-month.

They never really last long, and a new "identity hyperfixation" quickly follows, while the other one dies out.

And it usually goes like this, in the image above (it might be hard to read, sorry lol, but I'm describing it anyways so dw):

May be thinking about the idea of using a different name

May prefer certain gendered terminology (or no, or different 'gendered' terminology), for example, boyfriend/girlfriend/partner (or something/anything else)

May prefer certain pronouns over others, and/or may struggle to know what kind of pronouns I like

May be thinking about changing our icon to something different than before (on Discord, Tumblr, etc.)

May be thinking about creating a new Tumblr side blog (with or without a ""fake name attached to it, definitely not an alter :)"" spoiler alert: it's usually an alter lmfao)

May or may not think about what it would be like the have a particular physical attribute(?), not sure how to word this lol, like I'll think about how I wished my hair looked a certain way, or sometimes if it's possible, I might actually do something to change my physical appearance somehow, even if it's just wearing a specific clothing piece, but sometimes it can be like with my Calliope example where I paint my nails a particular color, or I actually dye or cut my hair, etc... The possibilities can be endless and can even be much bigger changes, such as alters making the decision to go on HRT.

--- An 'Identity' Begins to 'Solidify'

May have found a name, or a 'placeholder name' to use

May like using a specific icon (on Tumblr, on Discord, etc.) or icons, or may like using icons with a common theme/visual appearance/etc. (such as using icons that feature the color blue a lot, or using icons of a specific character, etc.)

May become much more self-aware and confident in their existence

May or may not have created a new side blog, with or without a particular name attached to that blog

--- An 'Identity' Diminishes; start from the beginning

May no longer care for, or like, the previous name(s) or placeholder(s) names that we may have chosen

May no longer care for, or like, the previous icon(s) we used, the Tumblr blog(s) we may or may not have made, etc.

For as long as I can remember, this has been my experience with DID - or at least, NOW I understand that it's been DID all along.

And the cycle continues.

Nothing really ever "comes back." It's just "new" "identity" after "new" "identity" after "new" "identity" for me, day in and day out, week-to-week, month-to-month.

HEHE I had a tut I made quite a while back on how to make botz but honestly . . . i don't follow that anymore, like at all LMFAO the new way i make em helps a ton with makin them better to transport into jai/sillytavern because of lower tokens :3c SOSOSOO I'll go over basically literally EVERYTHING i do to make bots hehe :3c ๋࣭ ⭑ 0.5 . !! - I have a notion page, this is really optional but it helps so much with organising bots and like keeping track of ideas and brainstorming! I like make a section with a drop down about an idea I have and let myself expand upon the idea, keeping everything neatly jotted down :3c You tap/click on the plus and scroll down until you get this option! (Toggle List)

THATS OPTIONAL BUT... It helped so much :3c and you can devide it up into sections to help productivity like checkmarks for icon, long desc, short desc, so on! ๋࣭ ⭑ 1 . !! - For bot icons ohmygod. grabs ur shoulders.. bigjpg + polarr (mobile polarr, pc polarr is shit LMFAO) are uour best friends!!! bigjpg helps you enlarge icons to make them more clearer I usually do x4 -> medium noise removal or whatever it's called !! and for polarr on the home page has a LOTT of really good filters others have made but also making filters is so fun too!! Just experiment a lot i'd say :3c (A good filter i've loved and was like the first one i used is called cruel summer with like the ballet shoes emoji!! it looks SOOO GOOD with enstars cards!!!) YEA AFTER THOSE ... ๋࣭ ⭑ 2 . !! OKAY so for C.AI I tend to go about filling out the sections with whatever I feel motivated with; often going pfp -> definition -> long desc -> short desc -> start message , but it changes from person to person with whatever you feel best with! :3c I can't offer much help with starting messages as I don't like doing them, but i'd say what works best imo is writing from the character's perspective or a third person with a bias towards the character, instead of the {{user}} as if you write a lot of {{user}}'s own perspective in example messages, the bot may continue to write for {{user}} in the roleplay- some people enjoy this so it depends on how you want the bot to reply but i find it breaks the immersion .. ૮ ․ ․ ྀིა As for short desc - make it interesting! what i try to do mostly is describe the bot in a few words, or try to summarise the character and the dynamic between the {{user}} and character! :3c And for the long desc; I try my best to get all the vital information, which needs to be kept in the bot's memory the most in it! For example; this is what I did for my Foxboy Kohaku!

And then the definition section...! In the past I used W++ Which was where you'd go {["Name" ("Rinne Amagi") so on, so on! But i've found that this is a bit inconvinient with J.AI as all the extra characters take up so many tokens which make a bot start to loose memory faster! I think C.AI might also struggle with it so I sort of found a middle ground hehe :3 this is the base:

You can use a lot more detail in it and also note little character quirks after the personality section! This isn't a set in stone template and feel free to modify it however you want, this is just what works best for me! ₍^ >ヮ<^₎ .ᐟ.ᐟ And then do like two enter spaces, and then you train the bot! It sounds like it's hard work but it's just doing the 'insert a chat with ___' option

like twice, to help flesh out the roleplay and character personality, as well as any talking styles if you're making bots of Kohaku, Rinne, Natsume, Kanata so on! :3c You don't have to do any like huge roleplay, just a few ones until you feel happy, then save them and change any instances of them using your name to '{{user}}' and {{random_user_1}} to {{user}} too ! Also save your bots as unlisted until you're ready to make them public! Don't make them private as C.AI gets very fucky with priv bots !! AAND THAT'S ALL!! HOPE IT HELPS U ANON MWAHMWAH!! PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK FOR MORE C.AI HELP IF U NEED IT !! I think he ends up using his little around his neck scoops notebook for lots of different things like of course notes interviews and articles but i imagine he also uses it kind of like as a journal / diary too as well as like planning stuff and also the joe biden negative ebergy manifestation thing (pic below) but with mikado

I think like his biggest interest / thing he could go on and on about BESIDES journalism is soda. he has some moments where he talks about it in the game like when he gets really excited abt the discontinued soda in the vending machines but like i think this guy knows way too much. collects old bottles bit doesnt tell anyone because he thinks its dorky. he loves trying the weirdest flavors he can find and he has a seperate notebook with his comprehensive soda reviews and rankings.

Based on the bit we do know about his food preferences in canon + a little bit of me projecting I do really think he has ARFID. This goes a little bit with the soda thing because like i think he probably doesnt drink anything besides soda and coffee. hajime is BEGGING HIM to please drink some water. I think he survives mostly on like chips and ramen. And of course he doesn’t want to eat whatever mikado makes because its mikado but i do think part of it is also mikado makes very fancy dishes a lot and i think they are Scary Foods. This ine is very like self indulgent LOL

This is more of a headcanon for an au nikei i roleplay with some friends but im includijg it because inreally like it. there are multiple other characters who can use magic in said rp and as a result of his experiances with Mikado, nikei is staunchly Anti-Magic. He’s afraid of it + it just makes him SO mad too. Like this extends from like magic powers to psychics to like slieght of hand magicians. Very strong emotional reaction from him everytime and I don’t even blame him honestly

He tried to start a book club on the monocruise and it ended up with only three members himself iroha and yoruko. Iroha only wanted to talk about yaoi and the book club was dissolved before the first meeting finished because monocrow ushered yoruko and nikei out of the library for yelling at eachother (they had different interpertations of the books ending)

god, i’m just a sucker for the collaboration aspect of it. i love developing and exploring characters and plots and scenarios to damn exhaustion, but i HATE doing it alone. everyone keeps telling me i should write books and short stories and whatever but that’s not fun for me. i’ve tried but it’s not fun. i love the collaborative aspect - i love the brainstorming, and figuring things out, and fleshing out characters and plots with someone else. and  i love how it can both be a complex creative exercise OR just dumb-fun. 

⚡ What are the good sides with duplicates?

like, writing with different people who write the same character? learning about how people interpret characters is something i love: i love reading their thought process, hcs, ideas, etc. to me ( unless i find someone who writes a character exactly how i envision them) it goes against my nature to be against duplicates. i’m too damn curious and interested. that said, if i def don’t vibe with a portrayal, i politely bow out and soft-block. 

⛵ What genres do you like writing the most?

tragi-comedy is my home, my love, my everything. that aside. huh. is it dramatic and does it involve heavy character development (be it positive or negative)? i’ll fucking love it. plots where the characters aren’t static and feel real and evolve (positively or negatively) based on their experiences. pyrrhic victories. all things horror. plots based on stories for children but with an added dark twist.  at the same time, i’m v much also a dumb-fun roleplayer. sometimes if me and my writing partners just want to have fun for an hour or so, we  use a random generator to pick characters and a scenario and we write it. i’m currently writing a dumb-fun thread where two broke baristars encounter a talking lizard who claims to be from another planet lol

I've never seen it, but I've been watching clips and edits on tiktok and it looks super neat!! Definitely gonna try and watch it someday, probably after I finished my rewatch of some minecraft roleplays lmao

Something thats super important to you, some people describe it like a super intense hobby or obsession? Also noted is it being close to the only topic or activity thought about or done by the person, consuming them??

Example!! My special interest is in Mystreet, which is obvious. It's very important to me, makes me happy, been my favorite thing ever literally since I found it, and I know nearly everything about it's material and such, which has actually reached a point where my friends call me their encyclopedia lmfao.

Idk how good my explanation is or even how accurate, I'm going off of friends and my doctors, alongside research and google.
