It’s funny how we are willing to go in $30k to $100k into debt to get a piece of paper and status. I spent $30k on a finance degree because that’s what I was supposed to do. Because it’s normal right? That’s what you do. Everyone congratulated and supported me. "Yes, girl! " Then I got laid off. I knew for a long time I wanted to run my own business. I said it out loud all day,every day but deep down inside I went the safe route because I was afraid of failing. I was afraid of starting my own business and failing and having to tell people, I spent all this money to fail. See, as a business owner, it can get lonely sometimes. People just don’t “get it”. ⭕️"Just get a job, you have a degree. " 🔴Why would you pay $6k for a business coach? 🔴Why are you spending all this money on masterminds? Where is the support? It’s amazing how that works. So I went the “safe” route for a bit. How is going $30k into debt not frowned upon but when I wanted a little guidance for my business, spending $2k was considered crazy or impossible. This shit does not make sense! I was fed up. I was even scared of making my first initial investment of $2k for my business. Can you believe that? I had already racked $30k in debt without blinking an eye and I was over here scaring myself out of INVESTING $2k for ME. But I took the plunge. I bet on me. I was tired of being unhappy, scared and not living my life in my own terms. What about you? Is your health something you’ve been putting off because all this other crap on the side? When will being, unhappy, uncomfortable and insecure be enough for you to finally starting investing in you? How bad does it have to get for you to finally say enough is enough?
