Caroleann Rice is a mother to a grown son Kevin, and a grown daughter, Colleen. She is also a grandmother to Colleen’s twin daughters Madison and Paige. Aside from enjoying spending time with her granddaughters, she is also a chaplain; a ministers to a Wednesday night prayer group called “The Women of the Well”, which has been regularly held at her home for 14 years. More recently, as the author of the book “The Song of Solomon the Snail” (to which this book is a sequel), she enjoys the process of writing- making characters come alive to share a message of overcoming challenges and struggles...

I think I like helping others a little too much. That's not meant to be a humble brag.. it's more of an embarrassing Tina Tidbit. I'm the type of person that will be figuring out how to help you as you're talking to me. If we're face-to-face, I'm taking mental notes. If I'm reading your note or email, I'm writing things down. It's a habit that is sometimes welcomed by others and has also left me on the receiving end of an eyeroll or two.. or ten. I'm doing my best to listen more, at least face-to-face. I've lost count how many conversations I walk away from, just mentally kicking myself. Yes, it makes me feel better when I'm able to connect people with a needed resource, but is that even why they were speaking to me? Missed opportunities happen when you're so busy planning your next step that you forget to live in the now. I don't like choosing a word of the year, but my phrase for 2023 is DO MORE. ❄ Do more listening. ❄ Do more of what keeps me sane. ❄ Do more of what I feel called to do. ❄ Do more product creation that I can feel proud of. ❄ You get the idea. Anyway, I'm rambling.
