Cold Hands from Cozy Autumn Prompts

There was something that really warmed your heart on the days when Weather took your hands in his. He stared into your eyes as he held your hands in his, you couldn't help but notice how his hands completely covered yours when he cupped his over yours. It was comforting... It made you feel safe and warm.

You watched as he made an opening between his cupped hands to gently blow warm air into the space to warm your hands up. He rubbed his hands against yours, you could especially feel the way his thumbs rubbed against the back of your hands as he did so.

You watched Weather's movements carefully... You were in awe of everything he did. He was just an interesting person to watch. There was something about his movements that seemed too perfect, or maybe it was because you were so enamored with him. Either way you tilted your head to the side a bit to get a better look at his eyes as he continued to attempt to warm up your cold hands.

"Better." Weather finally spoke up again as he gently rubbed your hands a bit more before bringing your hands up to his lips and gently kissing them.

"Thank you. I feel much warmer now." You said with a smile. Not only were your hands warmer, but your entire body felt much warmer too.

"I would've told you to wear mittens, but I prefer warming your hands this way." Weather admitted with a small smile.

It always caught you off guard when he said sweet little things like this. You couldn't help but lean against him a bit, wanting to feel more of his warmth against you.

"I prefer it when you warm my hands this way too."

1.   How did you and your f/o meet?

I'll save the full stories because I wanna make dedicated posts about them, but Vanishay met in Cairo, and Terechelle were actually childhood friends. ;v;

6.   What is a piece of rare lore about you and your f/o?

DIO didn't fully trust that Shay wouldn't run out on him after seeking asylum in the mansion; he'd ran into her once before on one of his American escapades and was pleased to see she'd 'taken up the offer to work for him' (when in reality she just got on the next plane leaving Miami for literally whatever destination because she needed to flee immediately), but he still didn't trust her. Vanilla, not having one set duty in the mansion, was tasked to inconspicuously keep an eye on her, which he wasn't the best at. Shay noticed he tended to hover near her, but she just thought he liked her or something 😭 GNKFJG

Starry's 2023 Selfship Ask Game

18. How does your f/o comfort you after a hard day? How do you comfort your f/o?

Prosciutto and I are very much psychically affectionate. Most of our comfort comes from hugs and the like. Sometimes words too. Depending on how hard my day was he might offer some consolation and a solution for whatever is bothering me. Or he might let me vent a lot of frustrations as I have in the past for him. But more often than not we end up cuddling a lot (and maybe making out AHHHH) It's so much easier to forget your worries that way!

12. Describe you and your f/o's dream house.

Honestly, it's hard to pin down what kind of home Prosciutto would like. But I imagine it should be very neat and clean and have desginated rooms for everything, especially his collection of things. Such as a reading room for his books and a proper closet for all his skincare etc. I would love my home to be more cottage-like than modern and big. So I think our dream house would be pretty small and cozy and as organized as we can get it to be! But definitely despite its size we'd decorate it with a mixed version of our somewhat bookish and elegant aesthetics!

How did you and your f/o meet?

If Focaccia's lore can be considered since she is my self insert, it would be that he had a mission to extract information from her. And so had to abduct her for it. So our meeting was quite violent. It was extremely difficult to trust him at first but eventually they started working together and got past those barriers!

"Honesty! I know I've had to lie to people like my parents for their safety... but I wish I could be honest with them. And out of everything else trust and honesty is what kept my relationship with my loved ones so strong. How could I trust anyone in the place where I ended up? Especially the man who brought me into his world of uncertainty and death. It took time, but trust and honesty are what keeps us together. And tethers me to Passione... Trusting the boss, however, that's a completely different situation. He doesn't trust us in the first place. That's how I came to be a traitor."

🍅 [TOMATO] How misunderstood is your OC? In-universe or IRL.

"I think it's entirely my fault... Sometimes I say things without. I would think it's difficult to misunderstand my words when I like to be so particular and precise with them. And yet sometimes they are convoluted enough to hurt someone I care about. I think my fear of hurting my loved ones make me overthink what I want to say. Which is how I might end up insulting someone like Illuso without thinking. Or even my own husband! It's worse with my anger sometimes. While I keep it well controlled, if it flares up, I may say something I don't mean at all. It certainly gives the wrong impression."

🍋 [LEMON] What is their kryptonite/ultimate weakness?

"My loved ones. If leveraged against me, I would be powerless and I'd do anything, I really mean anything, to get them to safety. That's why trust is so important to me... I could have the rug pulled beneath my feet at any moment by anyone so long as they know enough about my relationships. I'm sure it's the same for Prosciutto. A good reason for why he likes to be so private. When it comes to stand abilities however, it'd be an ability like Ghiaccio's. His ice renders my Fire Woman pretty useless."
