Re watching the clip of Sanji about to fight Luffy

And I wonder if when Sanji was saying all his words that Nami picked up of how he was acting how she did cause how he spoke her eyes widen by yes possibly of his words but also I wonder if on any level she could have some kind of sense of what was happening cause she did almost the same thing when she went back to Arlong and pretended to be the fool who didn't want anything to with the others

It's unfair. Reiju would cry if she allowed herself to. But she doesn't trust these hollow halls to witness her tears. It's unfair. She feels like a liar now. She helped him escape, run away into a better life. You'll be able to meet kind people. She had promised him that, had promised it to herself because she couldn't bare the thought of the world continuing to be so cruel to Sanji. And she had followed him as much as she could, had looked out for information about her precious little brother, what little information there was at least. At first it was scarce, nothing really. But then she'd found a newspaper article of a restaurant on the sea, a black and white picture of a former pirate and a little boy that would always be stuck under the inside of the drawer of her nightstand. And that comforted her for the next few years. She never talked about him, not with anyone. She never even dared to think about Sanji when her father was around in fear of Judge finding him. But then there was the wanted poster. Her father didn't seem to take notice at first or didn't feel the necessity to care for it. When he looked at the picture, disgust was edged on his stern features but that was all. Reiju was almost relieved, it actually seemed like the whole ordeal was a closed book for Judge, not to be opened again.

How wrong she had been. When he had summoned them this evening, she already knew it couldn't be good news. The slight smirk around the corners of his mouth gave it away. And as soon as he was done explaining, she left.

She'd run if she could but that would give away her inner turmoil. She couldn't let anyone witness how much her heart ached for the little boy she'd promised the world who'd now get the world ripped from his fingers. And there was no way she'd be able to push him back into it again. There was no exit this time, her fathers decision final.

An idea had started to form inside her mind. Maybe she could take his place, marry one of Big Moms sons instead but she knew as soon as the idea was formed that her father would never let her. She was too valuable, Sanji was not. It was the name, nothing more. This wretched name etched upon her brothers back, looming like a shadowy monster above him, never leaving his side. Did he think about it often? Or had he managed to leave his past behind? Well it doesn't matter now, does it? It will all come back, crashing down on him like an unstoppable wave ready to swallow him. And he'll get everything taken away from him again, only to find himself back where he started.

I'm sorry, Sanji. I couldn't protect you.
