Also tagging this freak @divine-misfortune because most of my lore comes from weird ass convos w it where we just start making shit up.

I’m counting old water ghouls as water lake and river. Deltas lore has its own series!

Water: he’s coral reef inspired. I think he’s like a surfer bro, mostly bc it’s a bit funny but all the water ghouls are sad and angsty. He’s very sweet and laid back, has a thing with earth and air, they’re their own little throuple and they’re very important to me. Absolute himbo, air headed, really funny. Bring some light into the first round of ghouls between alpha and omegas weird possessiveness thing I think they had, air being a grumpy asshole (/aff) and earth just trying to hold everything together. He’s a sweetie.

Lake and River: I think they come as a pair once River comes along. They’re insanely possessive over each other, to the point where they don’t allow the other to be with anyone else unless their partner is there. It … it could be toxic but they’re both extremely into it so it’s fine. They’re rarely without each other.

Lake is much lighter, I think like shaggy blonde hair and dark blue eyes. All smiles. He’s the kind of guy to hum while he’s doing things. Obviously worked under water and I think some of that carefree attitude rubbed off on him.

River however is darker. Long straight pitch black hair. Piercing light blue eyes. Stubble. He’s fucking gorgeous. Lake is so very infatuated with him on first sight. He’s the quiet brooding artsy type. The type to just randomly spit wisdom about life in the middle of doing his chores or something.

Luckily they’re not obnoxious about their love in front of everyone. In public spaces resorting to standing next to each other with a simple hand hold if they’re bold. They keep their love in private, something about it feeling more special and personal that way according to River.

Thinking about a "Wrath and Glory" Tau game where the crux is that the majority of the larger conflict has moved on from a planet, and you are some "clean up crew" assigned to capture or eliminate The Astra Militarum soldiers who got left behind (For The Greater Good).

The stubborn Imperial Loyalists who think the Emperor will save them, or think their martyrdom will mean something. Your party investigates these losers for the Water Caste , and ideally contain them before a military response is required.

A gritty series of semi-connected oneshots (same supporting npcs and setting planet).

A group of Guardmen in a forest who fail to realize the battles have ended, a commisar holding an area hostage, a renegade psyker, you get the idea.

Tier 2 ideally. Might also work with a Imperium Maledictum set up.

i saw your fallen gabriel and v1 designs and i instantly thought of that robot unicorn attack flash game by adult swim... you know that one? it’s an obscure little game, and you can’t play it anymore with flash support being cancelled, but — it had two (?) sequel games of which i only ever played the second game because i adore every little detail of it!

the planets/worlds you can play on in rua2 are very surreal and cosmic, which reminded me a lot of those old fantasy sci-fi drawings and also ultrakill’s surrealist level designs (i can’t get over wrath’s water textures having... The Drowned. absolutely amazing design choice) and designs overall. i just wanted to mention it because i’ve been looking at your art and replies and ohhh i’m so enamored with your gabe and v1 uwe uwe uwe 😭 i love unicorns and robots man uwe uwe 😭 thank you for arting, it’s what fuels me

There’s a part of me that wants to believe that if Paz Socorro were to see her son again she would drop everything in order to get to stay with him, she lost him once and now with this second chance her priority is him and just him.

I can picture this scene in which Paz is holding Spider she’s crying and saying “my baby my baby. You’ve grown so much and I’m so proud of you”

I'd love to see the assumed spice and zest of a fighter pilot, the regret of someone who fought on the wrong side, mixed with the grief and desperation of a mother who lost their child in paz and spider relationship. like this would be a woman so deeply broken, so deeply gutted by the course of her life, while still being someone so headstrong and constantly blazing like an inferno.

match that up with spider, someone so much like her; he is all of those things, he is so strong and so bright and so loyal, so desperate for a mother, but so deeply troubled by his life.

their potential arc could be so fucking moving.

like you said, I wanna see her drop everything, herself included, to find her baby; only to find a boy who is coming close to being a man. she is proud of her boy for surviving what she couldn't, for being on the right side.
