ZtTM AU - Escena Eliminada

Como algunos sabrán, la primera versión de este AU iba a ser en dos partes, la primera parte está en mi wattpad (próximo a eliminación) y la segunda parte apenas era un borrador cuando empecé a escribir de nuevo la historia y se convirtió en la versión definitiva (la que esta en mi Ao3).

Hoy decidí compartir ese borrador descartado aquí.

La noche que se anunciaba al ganador, Dewey apenas podía contener su impaciencia y sus nervios.

Ya que había cierta diferencia horaria entre la ubicación actual de la banda y Duckburg, eran casi las 3am cuando Dewey estaba bajo las mantas de su cama y usando esta para ocultar el brillo de la pantalla de su laptop y tambien usando audífonos.

La transmisión era a la media noche, que serian las 3 de la madrugada para Dewey. ¿porque? Bueno, realmente no había razón, a los hermanos Warner les pareció más emocionante así, según sus revelaciones en sus redes y Max les siguió la corriente como hace casi siempre, de hecho, no era difícil saber qué Max hacía el papel de responsable en el grupo, en parte porque era el mayor y porque era mucho menos alocado que Yakko, Wakko y Dot.

Yakko también tenía su parte de hermano mayor responsable, pero solo se manifestaba si Max no estaba disponible.

“¡Buenas noches a todos!” saludo con energía la voz de Yakko y una de sus frases icónicas, sacando a Dewey de sus pensamientos.

La emoción volvió en un instante, mientras miraba en la pantalla a los 4 toons.

Se apretujaban un poco entre ellos para asegurarse de salir todos o sólo porque podían. Ya que el contacto físico entre ellos era tan natural como respirar aire.

Yakko estaba junto a Dot, sentado en el regazo de Max mientras este apoyaba casualmente su barbilla en él hombro de Yakko. Wakko estaba en medio como si estuviera agachado frente a ellos.

Todos vestían ropa cómoda, camisas largas y sencillas hasta donde llegaba la vista de solo torso, Dot, por otro lado, estaba con un vestido en tonos vibrantes de fucsia y rosa, maquillada tanto como Yakko le permitía a sus Catorce años.

Esa era otra cosa que Dewey admiraba de ellos, como no les importa verse desaliñados y en total comodidad con sus fans, y aunque Dot parecía la excepción, eso era porque ella disfrutaba verse bien, para ella más que cualquier otra cosa.

“¡hola dulces seguidores!” saluda Dot agitando su mano llena de brazaletes coloridos y algunos plateados que hacían ruido al agitarse.

“hey.” dice Max un momento después, con una sonrisa perezosa.

Yakko se ríe entre dientes. “disculpen a maxy, ya paso su hora de dormir.”

Max no lo niega y de hecho, él pasa sus brazos alrededor de Yakko y lo aprieta un poco mientras frota su hocico y nariz en el cuello de Yakko con los ojos cerrados.

La sección de comentarios explota al instante con alabanzas de las fangirls y algunos fanboys tambien.

Yakko se estremece y su pelaje se eriza mientras sus mejillas se hacen rojas como su nariz.

Dot rueda los ojos con una mueca y mira a la cámara. “y por eso hacemos esto en horario de adultos.”

Dewey se ríe entre dientes bajo la manta, pero no puede evitar la fantasía fugaz de tener ese tipo de contacto íntimo y cariñoso con Wakko, aunque sea algo más que imposible.

No era secreto para nadie tampoco, la relación entre el vocalista y el guitarrista principal de la banda. Según las anécdotas de Yakko que terminaban siempre en largos monólogos, ellos estaban juntos desde mucho antes de que les ofrecieran formar la banda. Se conocieron cuando Yakko tenia catorce y Max dieciocho, gracias a su representante que en ese tiempo era solo una de las figuras paternas de los hermanos y el padrino de Max.

Yakko afirma que fue amor a primera vista por ambos lados y aunque hubo un par de baches, no pasó ni un mes antes de Max le pidiera una cita, cuatro meses después, eran pareja. Un año después, las dos personas que los juntaron les ofrecieron formar una banda, un tipo de crossover entre compañías. Todos aceptaron con entusiasmo.

Y así nació “Zany to The Max Band”.

“si, ahhh, waks aún no saluda.” dice Yakko, tratando de alejar la atención de él y su cara roja.

Dewey se anima y siente su corazón martillear en su pecho cuando Wakko sonríe dulcemente con su lengua afuera, la alegría adorable desbordando de sus ojos es casi demasiado para dewey y el solo no puede evitar tomar una captura de pantalla.

“¡hola a todos y buenas noches o días!” dice Wakko. Su voz desbordando energía a pesar de la hora.

Dot toma la palabra ya que Yakko sigue luchando con su rostro y las manos escurridizas de Max.

“seguro recuerdan nuestro pequeño sorteo, donde uno de ustedes podría ganar un boleto para nuestro próximo concierto en Duckburg y un pase VIP para conocernos...” empieza a decir ella.

Aun así, luego de eso sigue una charla casual mientras leen comentarios que se extiende por más de una hora. Dewey disfruta de esta parte, ya que ayuda a calmar un poco sus nervios.

“¡muy bien! ¡ha llegado la hora de la verdad!” dice Dot interrumpiendo el parloteo de Yakko sobre alguna cosa que pasó durante el día. “nos gustaría seguir charlando pero...”

Entonces voltea hacia su hermano mayor y el líder del grupo.

Yakko sonríe y da golpecitos leves en la cabeza de Max que aún se recuesta en su hombro. “no creo que Maxy aguante más tiempo.”

El Toon perro ni siquiera se molestó en contestar, mucho menos en abrir los ojos por completo.

“así que... Wakko.” Llama la menor del grupo.

Todos miran al Warner del medio con sonrisas que Dewey jura son iguales a las que Louie y Huey hacen cuando quieren molestarlo.

Wakko mira a su hermana quien asiente y luego a Yakko y Max quienes hacen lo mismo. Entonces Wakko mira a la pantalla y sus mejillas se vuelven solo un poco rosas cuando levanta su teléfono para leer.

El corazón de Dewey martillea de nuevo y no puede evitar contener el aliento.

“el ganador del sorteo es...” wakko se pone de pie de golpe y extiende los brazos con una enorme sonrisa. “¡DuckTurbo! ¡Dew Duck de Duckburg!”

Por un momento, Dewey siente que su corazón se detiene. Porque ese es su nombre de usuario, es la ciudad donde él vive, pero no es su nombre. Su nombre no suena así. ¿había otra persona con el mismo seudónimo? ¿el mismo apellido en la misma ciudad? ¿será que lo escribio mal? ¿eso es un problema?

Pero antes de tener un ataque de pánico, Dot se inclina hacia la cámara y hacia wakko con una risita. “Waks, es Dewey. Dewey Duck de Duckburg ¡Felicidades, fuiste el único que contestó correctamente!”

“nos pondremos en contacto contigo para arreglar el envío de la entrada y el pase VIP.” dice Yakko.

Cuando termina la transmisión, Dewey siente que esta soñando, que tal vez, se quedo dormido a mitad de la transmisión y esto es un sueño. Un sueño en el que es el ganador y por fin conocerá a su banda favorita y a su crush...

Pero no, no lo es, el dolor del pellizco en su brazo lo deja seguro de eso.

Entonces, el gano.

“gane...” susurra. “gane...” esta vez más fuerte. “¡gane!”

Salta de la cama hacia el centro de la habitación, gritando con todas sus fuerzas. “¡GANE!”

Estuvo a punto de ponerse a bailar y gritar, cuando una almohada lo golpeó en la nuca y lo derribó, seguido del grito unánime de todos en la mansión. “¡CALLATE DEWEY!”

Quiero aclarar primeramente, que no modifique nada de este borrador mas haya de errores ortográficos. Ahora, hablemos de este borrador...

-De cierta forma, no me gusta mucho este borrador por el hecho de que es fácil ver que no podía decidir entre una narración en tercera persona o una narración desde el punto de vista de Dewey que era lo que se suponía que haría en este comienzo.

-También pueden notar, que esta escena donde anuncian al ganador fue descartada en la versión final, eso es porque en parte no tenia ganas de escribir esto de nuevo y sentí que al final no era tan relevante.

-En la version anterior tambien me refería a los miembros de la banda (mas que todo los warner) como “toons” pero ese concepto no existe en el mundo de Ducktales, por lo que tuve que cambiarlo y así nació el lore de la raza perdida de warner.

-Aquí yakko es solo vocalista y max guitarrista, eso lo cambie para agregar mi pseudo canon de Max con bonita voz para cantar y porque, no se, siento que Yakko vocalista no pegaba, el seria mucho mejor rapeando y la serie lo confirma.

-En esta versión todos son un año menores. También hay una diferencia de 4 años entre Yakko y Max. Además de eso, ellos se conocieron mucho antes de tener la banda (un año según había escrito).

-El hecho de que Wakko no sabe pronunciar el nombre de Dewey (igual que yo) es un headcanon inamovible del ship para mi, pero si cambie la forma en que lo pronuncia de ‘Dew’ a ‘Diwy’ porque, A) se nota mas la mala pronunciación; B) es mas lindo.

-¡oh! este posiblemente es el mejor de todos, pero en esta versión Wakko también le gustaba Dewey antes de conocerse, pero lo quite porque, en primer lugar era difícil de explicar cómo le podía gustar si ni siquiera se conocían (por parte de dewey tiene sentido porque es fan de la banda y wakko es su crush) y de hecho, todos en la banda lo sabían, por eso las ‘miradas’ de yakko y dot. Eso tambien se cambio porque crei que seria mas divertido si nadie se enteraba hasta que por fin estuvieran saliendo (o al menos del lado de wakko, porque del lado de dewey están más que cansados de escucharlo soñar despierto con wakko xd)

No se que mas decir ahora, espero hayan disfrutado este pequeño huevo de pascua (¿así se dice? ¿es así?) de Zany to The Max AU y con suerte podré traerles mas pronto. ¡Besos!

Ooo prompts! Hmm the Yax Rapunzel au was really fun to read- maybe the scene of Yakko and Max meeting in the clearing?

Sure thing!

It wasn't every day you found a secret tunnel under your home. Of course that meant Yakko, Wakko and Dot had to explore it. They had plenty of time until Salazar woke up and called for dinner.

The tunnel led to a city and it looked exactly like the sort of place from their old story books: colourful, lively and magical. It was full of toons and humans, some casting magic, some pulling normal toon tricks, but mostly it was just people going about their business.

Yakko couldn't quite wrap his mind around it. It should have been a normal, mundane sight, but it was like nothing he'd ever seen before. It was like...Like...Like those colourful, fuzzy dreams he sometimes had. The dreams full of people, their features blurred and voices muffled. Buildings that towered overhead and bright flags flapping in the wind...

He kept a firm grip on Wakko and Dot's hands as they explored.

It seemed like such a pretty, friendly place. People waved to them and didn't seem to think they were out of place at all.

Which was why it was so surprising to hear a sudden scream of terror from the meadow.

"LOUIE!"

In a flash, Yakko ran to the screaming kids, still hand in hand with his siblings. Two duck toons were leaning over the edge of a hole, looking horrified. Inside the hole, clinging to a tree root for dear life, was another little duck toon. Triplets then. The poor kid had tears in his eyes and Yakko gulped when he saw how far the drop was. Toon or not, if the kid fell his brains would be splattered.

Either the kids were too frightened to use their toon powers, or they weren't quite like Yakko, Wakko and Dot. Regardless, Yakko could handle this.

"Hold onto me, sibs," he ordered. Wakko and Dot grabbed his waist as he knelt and Yakko stretched himself like rubber, reaching down and down, until he could safely pluck the little duck into his arms.

"Got'cha!" he said cheerfully and, just like that, he snapped back to normal.

"Whoa," the little duck gasped. Louie?

"That was so cool!" the other two cried.

"Impressive," a new voice said, sounding just as relieved as the trio of ducks.

Yakko turned around, still holding Louie, and came face to face with another toon. He looked around Yakko's age, a tall toon (some sort of dog?) with floppy black ears, dressed all in red and black. He had big buck teeth and a bright smile.

"Thanks for saving my cousin," he said.

Yakko couldn't quite understand why his face felt so hot. "Heh..." he said, setting Louie down. "Oh, y'know...It was nothing."

Wakko and Dot raised their eyebrows. Yakko stuck his tongue out at them.

"Why's there a hole here anyway?" Dot demanded of the new boy, tapping her foot impatiently.

The boy sighed and ushered them all away from the hole.

"It's another trap," he said. "Set by King William and Queen Angelina's men."

Sibling Showdown!!!

This showdown consists of 64 sibling sets facing off against each other, as well as a few one-off polls of sets who didn’t make the actual bracket but who I wanted to include in some capacity. Polls will last a week. Round One of section A will go live on April 16, with section B going live the day after, section C the day after that, and section D the day after that.

Propaganda is allowed! I just ask that it be kept positive. Argue for your faves instead of against someone else’s. Every sibling set who made it in the showdown is there because someone wanted them to be, so keep it kind.

Will the winners be the siblings that love each other the most? That are most capable of killing other sibling groups with their bare hands? That have the most sibling swag? It’s up to you to decide! You get to choose the manner and parameters you judge each sibling set for.

I got some fluff sick and max x yakko and this one was really hard to come by but I managed to get some wakko x dewy, that one was a real doozy to get, but this one here is the real stuff, some Bioshock x Animaniacs, it has drama fluff comedy and action some real top-notch stuff

I’m not really interested in Bioshock, but I do wanna see the Yax and Wakko/Dewey one. (I don’t ship Wakko with anyone, but it’ll be interesting to see some fics of it)

Got inspired by Emirichu's videos about childhood/teenage crushes and wanted to share the most interesting of mine, feel free to add yours if you see this!

Being cringe is allowed (and recommended), I start slow but get into the weirder ones as I go ^^;

Kageyama (Haikyuu) - no explanations needed, he's so cool but still adorable, also sad and needs a hug

Yamaken (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun) - acts all smart and cool and like he's above having feelings but BOOM, A CRUSH

Iceland (Hetalia) - awkward soff boy

Romano (Hetalia) - awkward tough boy

Norway (Hetalia) - soff boy, big brother

Shin (Amnesia) - the aesthetic? also probably another awkward dude

Hikaru (Ouran High School Host Club) - so cocky but so awkward when he started having feelings

Aladdin (Aladdin) - loved his voice, also he cute

Kuzco (Emperor's New Groove) - idk, might be a voice actor thing, he's fun

Len Kagamine (Vocaloid) - the voice probably, also the fun design (some of his dances did things to me)

Sheldon (My Life As A Teenage Robot) - an adorable nerd with an adorable crush, he really affected my art style back in 2016

Max (Goofy Movie) - no need to explain

Rayman (Rayman Origins/Legends) - maybe just the hair? Or the games, really liked them and he was cool

Sly (Sly Cooper 2&3) - so cool, so witty, so funny, liked Carmelita

Dewey (Quack Pack) - all three really but I remember drawing the blue one lol

Wakko (Animaniacs) - cute and silly, drew him A LOT

Wheatley (Portal 2) - probably the voice, also the Blue Sky fic. Just an awkward British nerd!!

Megamind (Megamind) - he's smart and funny and adorable with his crush ok??

Hefty (Smurfs) - no idea, drew him a lot and put the identical drawings on my wall. Also according the new Smurfs movie and series I still like him the best. Tough guy with a soft inside -type?

There are probably tons more but they're either too recent or I just can't remember them for the life of me. This is a pretty good batch though, shows that I have a type.

Also yes, I had a Hetalia phase. And surprisingly, my Sonic phase started properly as late as like 2018. Watched Sonic X when like 13 and the ghost episode freaked me out so I stopped lol.
