I feel like every single primordial eliatrope has a curse they have to deal with whether they realize it or not.

It was obvious with Qilby’s case, but with the other primordials, not so much. Maybe it’s because Qilby’s curse outshines them all which is why we don’t really realize what the others might be dealing with.

Glip’s gift: Gifted with the will and dedication to teaching the history of the eliatropes to the next generation.

Glip’s curse: His copious source of knowledge for the Eliatrope children has to be studied and memorized and repeated over and over again so he can transfer it again and again, essentially teaching the same thing for eternity.

Mina’s gift: Gifted with the wisdom to solve all the quarrels that could divide their people.

Mina’s curse: Has to constantly solve the problems of others no matter how small it may be in her eyes.

Yugo’s gift: Gifted with the heroic passion to adventure, travel, and protect his people.

Yugo’s curse: Constantly lives in danger. He can never rest from it all because his warrior spirit cannot allow it.

Nora’s gift: Gifted with innocence and being free-spirited. To preserve these feelings and spread them to the people.

Nora’s curse: Innocence easily gets ruined.

Chibi’s gift: Gifted with the brilliant mind to invent.

Chibi’s curse: All inventions made for his people rest on his shoulders. One fatal mistake and everything crumbles. He has to be careful if the invention properly works.

We, as a fandom, do not give Alibert nearly enough credit.

Ok, but let's go over everything.

He couldn't bring himself to keep bounty hunting so he gave that up, even though it was his only source of income as far as we know

Found some random baby with a bird and decided to keep it

He started a business while caring for a child, for neither of which he had any preparation before that day

Let Yugo go find his bio-family, even though he was worried both about his safety and probably a bit about being replaced

Adopted Yugo's twin brother Adamai

Took care of and later adopted another set of ancient magic twins

All in all, successfully raised four magical alien children

Is free of toxic masculinity

Raised Yugo, Adamai -and as far as we've seen- Chibi and Grougal to be mostly kind, compassionate people(looking at Adamai < _<)

Cared about Adamai a lot(it probably wasn't exactly the same relationship between them as with the other three, who have known him since they were very little, but from what we've seen, he is still a great parental figure.)

Gives Ruel free meals, and just puts them on his tab, for a VERY long time

He's had to do a lot, and he did it amazingly. Kudos to him!

Since episode 13 of season 4, I decided to believe what Qilby says. This way, it would mean that in season 2 (episode 25?) when he says that nothing is impossible for the Eliatrope people, it's true. Meaning they could cure Efrim so he and Nora could be reborn.

Between Qilby and Shinonome's knowledge, Chibi and Grougalns ingenuity, and Yugo's willingness to be a test subject if it means saving Efrim and Nora, I'm sure they can find a solution.

Yes I am delusional but I don't care, they all deserved to be reunited and happy.
