Serious question: do they ever address the teeth (or lack of) situation in hockey romances or???

Also, your reasoning for liking sports romances is my exact reasoning for liking historical wartime romances lmao, bc u get all the bromance and teamwork of sports minus any little thoughts you might have about the weird ego/salary/fame aspects of the modern day sports INDUSTRY, and all the drama of a war scenario but with enough historical distance so that it doesn’t feel overly problematic to romanticize the situation (18th century naval warfare is where it’s at y’all!!)😂😂

Out of all the books I’ve read so far, none of the main characters have had missing teeth. But the 7th book in the Carolina Comets which comes out in may focuses on a player with a missing front tooth.

Part of me does wonder why they never just go get them fixed but at the same time I get it. Its like in rugby when you break your nose, there’s no point in getting it fixed because it could be broken again in the next game, may as well wait until you retire.

And yes that is exactly it! I honestly think one of the most attractive qualities a guy can have is the ability to just have fun and not worry about whether what you’re doing is ‘cool’ or not. You wanna dance and sing to You Belong With Me at the top of your lungs? You go for it boy!
