thinkin about different types of fairytales & what I wanna include in this cosm and what not. idk if I ever even said which types I'm doing so:

Fairytales belonging to the Brother's Grimm, or those credited to them. im not researching every origin ok that's too much. also who gives a shit bc it's certaintly not me.

I'd say (most) stories by Hands Christian Anderson, or at least his more popular ones.

Classical Literature like aiw, j&h, frankenstien, dracula, etc. Which books I include depends on my interest & how well I can work them into the story/pre-established worldbuilding.

While it technically fits within the theme, I'm sad to say that there's not gonna be any mythology adaptations here. Would it be cool? Yes. Do I love mythology? Also yes. But unfortunately I'm a sleepy ass bitch who's brain can barely handle what I just listed above. so. Make your own damn adaptations of you wanna see em so badly. And if you're wondering if imma include "X Fariytale/Book" u can ask, but the answer would probably be either "probably not" or "never heard of it".

Are you named after anyone?

I am not. It's part of one of my cultures (I'm mixed) to receive part of your name based on an ancestor. I've asked my mom where she came up with my first and middle name bc it's not taken from any of our ancestors.

First name (she has two versions, so idk which it is): it came to her in a dream, or my great-grandma brought up the name to her.

Middle name: "It felt important and that you needed to have this name."

My middle name translates to "Nothing is impossible."

When was the last time you cried?

Probably last week when I was writing some sad stuff lol

Do you have kids?

I do not. One day I'll have them, but rn I'm focused on my life and achieving my goals.

What sports do you play/have you played?

I played volleyball growing up, then played a little in high school. And also I was on the paddling team lol

Omg training was fucking brutal for paddling, I don't regret leaving lol running on the beach BAREFOOT 50 times up and downhill. It sounds pretty bc we had the sunset views too, but I was angry crying every time we did it.

Of course I don't.

Your vibe. I'm an empath, so I can feel your emotions as if they're mine and I'm an intuitive. I can pick up on the type of person you are. But I also try to exercise benefit of the doubt too bc I've had bad experiences in the past, and I try not to let that cloud my judgment.

Happy endings. I can already see entities (good and bad) irl so I'm all for happy things.

I learn languages very quickly. I would love to become a polyglot hehe that was one of my goals when I was a kid. But it's harder as an adult to get into this (but certainly not impossible ;)

Are you named after anyone? Umm, sort of? I don't think it is as intentional as people think it is. However, my dad first heard the name on the stylist who designed his wedding fit and quite liked it. Fast forward to my mom trying and testing names, he suggested this and they both loved it.

When was the last time you cried? Hahahaha this morning on the bus on my way to work. It was raining and smelled like home because of it. And I miss it. High time I go home now, don't you think?

Do you have kids? I have a cat? She is my child. I gave birth to her. You can't prove otherwise.

What sports do you play/have you played? I grew up playing a lot of badminton, basketball and soccer among others. I also danced/still dance- jazz.

Do you use sarcasm? Sarcasm uses me💅🏼

What is the first thing you notice about people? Their boobs. Jk, probably eyes. Someone once said "the eyes are the nipples of the face."

What's your eye color? Ha. It's like a hazel brown.

Scary movies or happy endings? Scary movies with happy endings? Happy endings with scary post movie thoughts? I think happiness scares me so this question is pretty paradoxical for me I'm sorry.

Any talents? I really don't mean to toot my own horn but you guys don't know me. I have a photographic memory- to the point where I'd feel guilty in school during tests (especially when I didn't study/understand the material) and stuff cuz I was "copying" from my mind pictures? I cried to a teacher about this and she died laughing. I can sing and could hop around 3-4 octaves (I am severely out of practice). I also dance- I am a better dancer than I am singer. Also, I write! Bet you didn't know I write.

Where were you born? In a hospital lol. My mother was all about that epidural. Funny story about that: there was a celebrity who was pregnant getting a check up at the same hospital and all the nurses disappeared to go see her while my mother was screaming bloody murder in labor. When my dad received the call that my mother was going into labor, he left his office and somehow lost his phone before he got stuck in traffic in the rain. Soo there was no way to reach him until he finally showed up lol.

What are your hobbies? This is going to be a repetition but dancing, singing, reading, writing, working apparently? I love organizing and shopping and rewatching my comfort shows and they are hobbies I will not hear it.

Do you have any pets? My child doubles as a pet sometimes. She'll meow from time to time. Get zoomies. That kinda stuff. Most of you know her by now haha.

How tall are you? 5' 1" - taller than you.

Dream Job? I currently have my dream job and it ain't it. So I'm revaluating my dreams. Gimme like another 10 years🫠

Insomniac Games victim of ransomware hack

A ransomware group has published 1.67 TB of content from Insomniac Games following a breach last week. As Cyber Daily reports, the Rhysida ransomware group stole data from the PlayStation studio on December 12. The 1.3 million files included Insomniac's release schedule up until 2035, details of unannounced games, and personal employee details. It also featured a massive amount of information on its upcoming Wolverine title, including gameplay footage, level design, its plot and ending, and its characters and cast. The breach revealed that Sony has reportedly signed an exclusivity deal on X-Men games with Marvel up until December 2035, IGN reports.

Naughty Dog cancels The Last of Us multiplayer game

The Last of Us won’t be returning to its multiplayer side after all. Naughty Dog confirmed today that it has stopped development on what it’s been calling The Last of Us Online, a multiplayer TLOU experience.

The project has been in development for some time, with Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann taking the stage at Summer Game Fest 2022 to talk about it. Outside of concept art, the multiplayer endeavor has been mostly quiet, with the team saying it needed more time earlier this year.

In today’s statement, the studio explains some of its reasoning behind the decision to call off The Last of Us Online. The multiplayer team had been in pre-production since the studio was working on The Last of Us Part II. But as production continued, the size of what lay before them became a little more clear.

Bethesda Outlines 2024 Plans For Starfield Including Expanded Ship Customization And More

Earlier this month, developer Bethesda Game Studios revealed on the Starfield subreddit that it was working on new ways to travel, mod support, and more for the game. Now, the company has expanded on its 2024 plans for Starfield in a new end-of-year update, including additional ship customization. 

"We'll be adding new ways to travel and you'll now be able to access city maps while exploring the major cities," the update reads. "For those who love ship building, we'll also be expanding on ship customization with ship decorations, new ship building options, and more."

Bethesda says these updates will begin rolling out in February, with the team targeting updates roughly every six weeks.

As reported by TweakTown, the comments were made by Xbox chief financial officer Tim Stuart during the Wells Fargo TMT Summit, held near the end of November.

"You can subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate, and you can stream hundreds of games to really any endpoint that has a browser experience."

"For models like Africa or India, Southeast Asia, maybe places that are not console first, you can say, hey, do you want to watch, you know, 30 seconds of an ad and then get two hours of game streaming."

Minecraft is finally getting 4K support on Xbox Series X|S

Mojang has updated the Minecraft preview build for Xbox Insiders, adding support for 4K resolution on Xbox Series X|S, Wolf Armor, Armadillos, and more.

Although Microsoft recently dismissed rumors that an Xbox Series X|S version of Minecraft is on the way, Xbox Insiders enrolled in the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition Preview and Beta can now begin testing 4K on Xbox Series X|S. It looks like 4K support will arrive as an update instead of a full new version. Bobby Kotick stepping down as CEO of Activision Blizzard next week

Bobby Kotick will resign after more than 30 years as CEO of Activision Blizzard.

In a formal announcement to employees, the executive said he would be leaving on December 29.

Death Stranding is getting a live-action film adaptation from A24

Hideo Kojima’s work is heading to the silver screen. Announced today, A24 is bringing Kojima Production’s Death Stranding into live-action. The film is said to delve into the blurring between life and death, the titular “Death Stranding”, that brought horrific monsters into an ever-collapsing world.

No word yet on who will take the director’s chair or other roles on the live-action adaptation.

The Only Light We'll See - The whole fic was just an excuse to write steamy, smutty Linzin and let them have a happy life together. I guess you could argue that the main Linzin and family AU I write could also be one of them, but I haven't completed their story yet in this universe. Tbf, I don't think my Linzin AU has an "ending" but whatever happens, Linzin gets their happy ever after

Sometimes I want my writing perfect in the first draft, and it stops me from just enjoying the process. Recently, I've been wanting to write and that has manifested into writing for "results" rather than quality. I mean, I still try to write my best and for the fun of it.
