#vincent was veld’s turk partner

FFVII prompt:
Veld was always told Turk partners are like a marriage contract: til death do us part, in sickness and health.
Vincent was Veld’s partner. Vincent has been MIA for twenty years, assumed dead.
While looking into another case, Veld comes across one of Hojo’s notes about Vincent.
Veld decides wasn’t ready for a divorce, even if he has to drag Vincent back kicking and screaming, with Chaos (and all three other demons) as his witness.
Vincent’s headmates are more than happy to kick back and be a witness to the hilarity that ensues.

MAJIMA GORO ( @zankokukami ) INQUIRED OF VINCENT: ❝ what's a man got to do for a lil' bit of fun round here ? ❞ he eyed the other turk, who quite frankly looked like he did not want to be stationed along with majima. ❝ come on, loosen up a lil' will ya ? you bore me. ❞
Tumblr media
Notification regarding a new partner for the job emerged in the morning, nevertheless meticulous planning and instructions were not sufficient to prepare him for such a particularly vivid character. With a mere glance Vincent questioned his professionalism and capabilities, ostentatious familiarity did not improve their bond from the very first casually dropped words, begetting a condemning remark. " 'Work' rarely implies 'fun' in our sphere of expertise. If you were looking for one, then you applied to the wrong job." Carmine optics narrowed its gaze at the other male, whilst he contemplated Veld's judgement, how utterly laughable to found self opposing the decision of the superior so adamantly. Their personalities would engage in perpetual conflict and eventually sabotage the operation.
Tumblr media
Hands rested across the chest, as the man maintained impenetrable composure that was unceasingly tested every time Majima opened mouth to talk, though another complaint addressing own boredom was vocalized. Despite apparent disinterest in woes of another, words did tug at the strings of his memories, beckoning forth recent conversation; Vincent did not possess an inclination for leisurely activities, opting to hone battle skills advantageous for work than momentary pleasures. "I have not even the slightest idea what you expect from me. Isn't performing the task should be a priority now?" With habitual disapproval in own voice, the raven-haired responded newly, their conversation threatened to transform into quarrel whereas one relished serenity and another flourished in mayhem.

Time-traveler Vincent, with a toddler Sephiroth he kidnapped from the labs runs into his old turk partner Veld.
Vincent will be made Felicia’s godfather at gunpoint come hell or high water. How dare he not tell Veld he’s alive??? He would have helped bury the body!
Chaos and other demons decide they love Veld actually.
Veld: How could you do this to me? I mourned your death.
Vincent: *out of breath* The kid—the boy—Sephiroth—he—
Veld: And you even fathered a child, you bastard. Was I not good enough to be a godfather?
Vincent: *hyperventilating* the FUTURE.
Veld: There is no future. How could you not trust me? I was even going to let you be Felicia's godfather.
Baby Sephiroth: Uncle Vincent murdered professor Hojo!
Veld:
Veld: Apology accepted. I'll go get the champagne.

I would very tentatively like to put feelers out there for anyone looking to write long-form roleplay for final fantasy 7. I haven't written it with anyone in a very very long time and with getting back into the remake games it's spurned me to want to get back into it.
If you would be interested or are curious, I'll write all my info and what I'm looking for under the cut.
First things first.
Adults only, preferably someone 20+ though the older you are the more comfortable I will be as I am 32 and like to write about a range of topics including darker ones.
How I write
I write book style like you would see in a published story, so "talking like this" and story like this, with variations for emphasis.
Hard No's and discomforts
There isn't much I'm not open and willing to write, and usually it's a story by story basis, but I get squicked out by non-trans mpreg and would like to avoid overly ooc and crack fic style story.
What I like to write
I like to write from the Vincent POV and I like to keep the timeline pretty canon unless writing in parts of the timeline that have not been filled in.
My favorite parts of the timeline to write about pre FF7 events, DoC events and post Advent Children.
I don't have any concrete plot ideas just yet as I usually form those alongside my writing partner, but I am particularly interested in the Turks pre-Soldier program or post FF7 events.
How I write Vincent
I am of the mind that post-getting shot, Vincent is way more subdued due to memory loss from actually dying for a period of time, lucrecia even saying that she couldn't prevent decay of tissue in DoC. So there is a lot of himself he just does not remember due to that, however I do believe he has a sense of humor, is more talkative with those he is close with and has an interest in experiencing the world around him that is so new and updated.
Pre-getting shot Vincent however is a professional man who knows when to keep his personality subdued for his job. He is a Turk and he does his job well, this doesn't mean he doesn't have a life outside of that. Most of the memories we get outside of the few Vincent has of the time at the lab, are from lucrecia POV.
I like to give him a soft energy outside of work, open with his coworkers and his friends, but not willing to make a fool of himself as he takes pride in his ability to be calm, cool and collected. He will however dance, drink, play games and generally enjoy himself with those around him.
I like to give Vincent a tense relationship with his father, nothing bad just more of differing opinions and typical son butting heads with father.
Pairings I like
Almost forgot to write these as I really just like writing Vincent in any situation, but I do like Cid/Vincent and Reno/Vincent the most. I tend to enjoy Vincent with Cloud, Barret, Reeve, Veld & Sepheroth depending on the story and context.
Anyway:
I'm disabled and unemployed so I tend to have a plethora of time at my disposal so I am flexible to writing with people at most times. I am also not someone who is impatient with responses though I do tend to go through spurts of replying very quickly. I may occasionally give a boop or nudge just to make sure we are still golden and see if maybe we need to put things on hold, but I'll never push.
Just to note I played FF7 for the first time in 1998 so if there are any headcanons that may seem weird to you that I have, it's because of the near 20 years of reinforcement it's had.

Vincent for the meme~ ❤🖤
Tumblr media
My bby Vinja, for you, of course ♥️⚰️
Sexuality Headcanon: He doesn't care about sexuality labels and considers sexuality to be fluid, he cares more about the connection he has with a partner than what gender they are. Before his death he was known to be very androgynously good looking and had experimented with both men and women
Gender Headcanon: Cis Male but does not consider himself to be fully human post-mortem due to the monsters being put into him and also his immortality
A ship I have with this character: Okay so I'm not usually an OC x Canon shipper but VinRei (@vinjaryou 's oc Reilena x Vincent) is my otp for Vincent. I also like VinVeld.
Brotp: VinVeld is also a Brotp for me, they have history and definitely a strong bond there even when it isn't romantic BUT Yuffie and Vincent is probably one of the greatest Brotps of all time. She has absolutely made Vincent a friendship bracelet and forced him to wear it on several occasions. They are ride or die.
NOTP: I'm a little picky with Vincent. I personally do not ship him with Cid, Cloud, Yuffie, Sephiroth or any of the Turks besides Veld.
Random Headcanon: I have a bunch but my favorite is that post-canon he and Yuffie are roommates in Kalm. There are several times where he questions his decision to be her roommate
General opinion: I love Vincent! He's my 2nd fav final fantasy character in VII and the franchise as a whole. His lore is so rich and deep and Lord knows I love all things tragic and broken.

he was still trying to get a read on this boy. the integral cog in the wheel of SOLDIER, and yet one that few could put a face to. in hindsight, his skills might have been more attuned to the turks than SOLDIER but too little, too late with that thought.
why was he pushing the matter of gast though? now that was a ghost from the past. another who had fallen through the cracks and fallen foul to hojo's hunger to get his own way.
glancing up as the man pushed the subject, veld squared him with a stare for a few uncomfortable moments before he spoke again, honesty winning out over games. there was nothing to be won or gained in twisting the truth here.
Tumblr media
' myself and vincent were partners back then - we were attached to hojo and lucrecia. but neither of us killed gast. ' abandoning the pages he'd been leafing through, veld folded his arms and rested against the edge of the desk, ' your turn for the truth - what's got you dredging up ghosts? '

If you haven't read it already, I really recommend Son by She_sees_in_the_dark.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23071255/chapters/55186255
It's about a time traveling Vincent stealing kid Sephiroth and raising him in Nibelheim with the help of Cloud's parents. It has really good Turk stuff like Veld who is going to murder Hojo for taking his partner/brother from him, the idea that it's better to shoot yourself than kill a Turk and leave their partner alive, Turks being adopted and raised in-house like an insane clan, and them slowly realizing that the company may not return or deserve their loyalty. Also, the rest of Avalanche is slowly getting memories of the future too. Just so much Turk and Avalanche and baby Sephiroth goodness.
!!!
Son!! God I love Son. I’ve read it like three times already and am feeling like I need to read it again

Prompt: Near Death Experiences
Pairing: Vincent Valentine/Veld|Verdot
Coming back from yet another adventure with his party, Vincent is a little too casual about mentioning his close call with a monster.
Veld had never had such a violent mood swing before– but after Vincent walked into their shared home only to all too casually reveal he was almost crushed a couple hours ago Veld's mood went from calm to mortified in a concerningly short amount of time. He had completely forgotten about the dishes he was putting away, his muscles immediately becoming taut.
“You WHAT?!” Veld blurts, his eyes wide as his head snaps in Vincent's direction.
Vincent winces at Veld's outburst, pausing in the middle of shedding his gauntlet to stare. There's a moment of silence between them, then Veld exhales, running both his hands up his face as he slumps against the counter. The wave of anxiety that had just struck like a punch to the gut left him breathless.
“Gods, Vincent…” Veld sighs, not knowing what else to say. He was giving his heart a moment to calm down by breathing deep, but he paused for a moment when he felt a careful hand rest itself on his shoulder.
Veld lets his body be turned around; lets his hands slowly fall from his face. He doesn't know why he's shaking, but he anchors himself by grasping the front of Vincent's cloak. He's suddenly terrified of letting go, his throat tight as Vincent rests his forehead against his own.
“I… I'm sorry.”
Vincent only gives a soft hum to Veld's apology, wrapping his arms around the other before responding at a whisper. “I scared you, Veld. I should be the sorry one.”
Veld laughs– a short, shaking laugh. “You're going to give me a heart attack, one day.”
Vincent chuckles softly, his eyes closing as he eases onto his partner: who can't help but smile as he feels Vincent's fingers card through the hair on the back of his head.
“I'll try to be a little more careful.” The raven-haired man promises, the murmured words bringing some relief to the dull pain in Veld's head.
“Good… I don't know what I'd do if I lost you again.” The brunette presses a ginger kiss to his partner's jaw, which coaxes Vincent into pressing his face into the side of Veld's neck.
Veld's smile widens– how could it not? How could he resist pulling Vincent's torso against his? “Is this your way of apologizing to me?” He jokingly asks; anything to get his mind off the image of Vincent potentially being crushed by some large reptile– as his partner oh-so delicately put it.
“Is it working?” Vincent mutters his response, his voice slightly muffled.
Veld closes his eyes, squeezing the other ex-Turk carefully before nodding.
It was at that moment he felt the tears pricking the corners of his eyes. He hadn't noticed them before… but Vincent spotted them almost immediately. He ran his thumb under Veld's eye, to swipe the moisture away.
Veld grasped his wrist with a gentle grip, holding his partner’s palm against his face. His eyes closed when he felt Vincent make no move to stop him– even as the tear caught in his other eye escaped and ran down his cheek.

i know that Turk!Vincent is supposed to look like Vincent because they're the same person, only separated by years of unethical body modification.
But I can't help but think that Vincent Valentine, the Turk, should be near unrecognizable compared to Vincent Valentine, the revenant. The body proportions should be vastly different because he's been in a coma for 30 years without life support: he's somehow a foot taller, all skin and bones.
Who's to say those glowing eyes were even his originally? Who's to say Hojo didn't fuck up that particular experiment and have to replace them, try again?
Vincent Valentine was a corpse that didn't rot: Of course Hojo would use him as his dumping ground and test subject for all the things he was still developing.
Make Vincent Valentine, the revenant, look so far off from what he was that not even the Turks can recognize him. Make it so even Veld could look right at him and still not see his partner, returned from the dead.

Strong Influences in Sephiroth's Life [Headcanons/Wish List]
Below is a list of people who, whether through canonical or canon-divergent interactions, would have had a deep influence on Sephiroth, impacting his development and personality. I'll do my best to sort them in chronological order.
Tumblr media
Hojo - As Sephiroth's creator and one of his lead engineers, Hojo is the only person who was present throughout nearly the entirety of his life. He's watched him closely in his early years, and maintained an obsessive eye on his specimen even in the period in which "Project S" was confined in isolation deep within the manor through the highly advanced surveillance system of the facility. Once Sephiroth became ready for training and was transferred to Midgar, their interactions would have become more frequent again. It is at this point that the boy would begin to know the man on a personal level, and grow resentment and despise towards him. Though he suspects Hojo might be his father, Sephiroth will firmly deny it out of pure spite.
[CANON DIVERGENT] Vincent Valentine - This is in verses where Sephiroth manages to find Vincent's coffin during his time alone in the manor. Depending on my partner, Vincent may or may not be Sephiroth's biological father, though there would be no official confirmation of this. During this time window, Vincent would be the only physical person "S" gets to talk to as a friend, and his impact on the child could be significant.
Veld/Verdot - After the disappearance of Vincent as a Turk, Veld was assigned to the protection and surveillance of the ShinRa Manor. Settling down in Nibelheim under the guise of "the Milkman", Veld is able to keep an unsuspecting watch of the villagers and ensure nobody approaches the manor where Sephiroth still lives in complete isolation. He would visit Sephiroth on occasion to bring him food supplies, and solve any problems that might occur inside the building. After Sephiroth is brought to Midgar to become a SOLDIER, Veld would be in charge of assigning Turks to handle any clean-up necessary after Sephiroth in his missions, and if necessary see to it personally.
[CANON DIVERGENT] The "Nibelheim friend" - This is for a verse in which I am open for any character with reasonable backstory for living in Nibelheim between year 1986-1991 to infiltrate the manor and get to become Sephiroth's secret childhood friend. @azure-steel's Cloud Strife is exclusive to this verse, but I am open to write it with other characters as well, like Tifa Lockhart or OCs.
[CANON DIVERGENT] Aerith Gainsborough - This is for a verse in which Sephiroth and Aerith meet as children during year 1991, just after Sephiroth is brought to Midgar to become SOLDIER and made to forget about his past in Nibelheim. In this time window the two could strike a friendship. I am open for diverging changes to the main plotline stemming from it, if desired.
[CANON DIVERGENT] Rufus Shinra - This is for a verse in which Sephiroth and Rufus meet following Sephiroth's arrival in Midgar in year 1991 and beyond.
Heidegger - As Sephiroth is selected to become SOLDIER and brought to Midgar, the SOLDIER Department would still be nonexistent. For this reason, Sephiroth's training would be put under Heidegger's charge (with strict supervision from Hojo). This relationship would be maintained until the SOLDIER Department is officially formed with Lazard Daesericus as its director, but I am open for a more personal dynamic to last beyond it.
Glenn Lodbrok, Lucia Lin, Matt Winsord - As Sephiroth's first true team on a field mission, any of these characters are bound to deeply affect him. Sephiroth is exploring social interactions with people of equal standing for the first time, and is looking to learn everything he can from the experience.
Turks Members - As the SOLDIER department solidifies within the ShinRa military system, Sephiroth's missions become more delicate in nature. This requires that all aftermath from his intervention in battle is swiftly cleaned and covered up by General Affairs. For this reason, a Turk is typically assigned to work as Sephiroth's shadow. The one chosen for this role may have a chance to develop a closer dynamic with him that I'm curious to test.
Lazard Daesericus - Lazard comes into Sephiroth's life as the SOLDIER department is established. He is likely the one responsible for splitting SOLDIERs into ranks. Sephiroth becomes then a First Class SOLDIER and as such will surely have to communicate often with his Director. What would that dynamic be like?
Genesis Rhapsodos, Angeal Hewley - Normally I headcanon these two coming into SOLDIER around year 1995 when Sephiroth is 17 and a full-fledged First Class SOLDIER, but I am flexible to shift this date around to fit any partner's headcanons. Angeal and Genesis are very different but both are incredibly impactful in the way they affect Sephiroth. For the first time he has true equals, fellow comrades he can compare with and live in closer quarters. Usually I headcanon them living together in a penthouse within ShinRa HQ, but that is not required of my partners either.
[CANON DIVERGENT] Other ShinRa Employees / Midgar Residents - This is for a catch-all verse in which I am open for any unmentioned canon character (examples: Roche, Reeve Tuesti, etc.) or any OC residing in Midgar / Working for ShinRa to meet and get to know Sephiroth on a personal level during his time as SOLDIER.
Elfe - February 30 εγλ 0001, AVALANCHE attacks Junon and attempts at the President's life. Elfe and Sephiroth cross sword with each other, and the girl turns a very important question to the SOLDIER: "Why do you fight?". This leaves Sephiroth in a deeply pensive state. However brief, Elfe has shaken his resolve. What if they met again?
Zack Fair - With Genesis and Angeal gone, Zack and Sephiroth are left behind to pick up the remains of a headless SOLDIER Department. Both have lost very important people in their lives and Sephiroth in particular has little else in terms of friendships to turn to. Zack becomes his last and only friend.

FFVII prompt:
Waking up a kid again, a formerly 27-year-old Cloud decides to retrieve Vincent, and burn the mansion.
To Cloud’s dismay, however, he seems to have landed in the time where the Kalm survivors are still present in Nibelheim. Unable to destroy the mansion without hurting civilians, he’s found himself in a tough spot.
On the bright side, the knowledge that Veld‘s daughter (Felicia/Elfé) is among those being experimented on turns out to be the perfect motivation to get Vincent out of his coffin for good in this timeline.

I love when folks ask me Fandom Old questions and I get to be like "Yeah, uh, that's from my old online RP group, no it's not canon at all, yes we just made it up, no we did not claim it was canon but the mid to late aughts were a strange time."
It's honestly a shock to realize how often this has happened. I mentioned earlier that Reno's fanon surname came from this same group, but that's not even the half of it. I once made a bunch of screenshot manips based on the most ridiculous ships anyone could think of—someone slapped a random line of text onto one of them and to this day it's used as a "cringe FF7 fandom" meme. I saw it on the twits a bit back and almost fell out of my goddamn chair.
If you've ever heard Scarlet referred to with the surname "West," read about Tseng fighting with metal fans, seen Elena's older sister being called Anna instead of Emma, come across Vincent portrayed as having a PhD in spite of being a Turk, or caught references somewhere to Grimoire experimenting on Vincent as a child, that started with this group. That was us.
One of the funniest examples of this, for me specifically, is that we don't actually know which arm Veld is missing? The fandom generally goes with his left because that's how I drew him in the first picture of the guy ever posted on devart way back in 2005, but it may very well be his right. I've seen people offer "proof" that it's his right based on a scene in the opening cutscene, but you can't tell there either, and with BC's graphics there's literally no way to tell on his sprite.
Hell, this year we found out everyone's assumed timeline of the Kalm fire is wrong, and that's our fault too because we made some assumptions about Felicia's age for an LJ RP that were entirely wrong. She's around Zack's age, not Sephiroth's! She's old enough to run with a terrorist group in BC, but she was a child when Kalm burned, and that happened in 1997—we know this because NPCs in Rebirth literally refer to the fire in Kalm having happened "just ten years ago." Veld has only had his prosthetic for three years when BC starts. (This also implies that, contrary to popular belief, Veld may actually be younger than Vincent. Vincent may have been the senior partner, and that's why he was sent to Nibelheim alone while Veld was left at headquarters.)
We were really wrong on this! But we were working with what we had. There's no canon evidence for the vast majority of these things (the most notable exclusion here is Vincent being educated) but we weren't claiming there was. We were filling gaps, and canon was so sparse that we had a lot of gaps to fill. So if it turns out that Veld lost his right arm, then I'll just have to start drawing him that way—because losing his left was never canon.
Tragically, there's nothing any of us can do to make people stop assuming these things are canon at this point; there aren't a lot of us still in the fandom, and it's not like any of us have those old chatlogs anymore. People from this RP group have DIED since those days. It's been over 20 years since most of us met, and around 15 since most of us were in a public fannish space together.
"Prove it," people say, and I literally can't. Do you know how many computers I've been through since then? 75% of the platforms we used no longer exist. This all started on a BBCode forum! There is no proof!
But...there's no evidence any of these things are canon, either, so maybe think about that? The Kalm fire, Tseng's weapon of choice, Veld's arm, character surnames—none of these are retcons because there was no lore there to retcon. We made it up for our specific purposes, and it escaped containment in an era when there was really no way to do online contact tracing.
It's just one of the weirdest feelings in the world to see younger folk arguing about A or B point in canon, about X or Y retcon—referencing something my friends and I thought up at like 10 o'clock at night on a now-defunct IM client in August of 2005, because we needed something to refer back to for a specific scene in an RP and the source material had nothing to offer.
Absolutely fucking bonkers.

I'm going to ask about Veld
1. Canon I outright reject
8. Unpopular opinion about them
28. How they feel about [Reno]
[For this ask game!] || [Still accepting]
Ooh, Veld. I don't get asked about him very often.
1. Canon I outright reject
I don't know that I have much canon for Veld that I outright reject. You know me. I like to finagle canon into complying with what I want to do with it. I like to twist and wrench and really cram it in there to make it work. Now, that said... What canon do we actually firmly have for Veld? He was the Director of the Turks. We say he was Vincent's partner instead of colleague, by choice of fan translators, since Veld's Japanese line when referring to Vincent specifically doesn't use kohai/senpai. However, it's worth noting that, as far as I know, the word Veld uses in Japanese specifically does mean "co-worker," not partner. We know his wife and daughter lived in Kalm. We know he feels responsible for the bombing there and for their deaths. We know that he had to be talked into trying to actually save Elfe's life because he didn't think it was appropriate to risk the world just for his daughter and him. So... I really don't think I have any canon for Veld that I just outright reject.
8. Unpopular opinion about them
I always write Veld as an older, tired sassy man. He gives me major tired old cowboy vibes every time he's on screen, and I write him that way. I have noticed that most people seem to write him with a much more serious nature than I default to.
28. How they feel about [Reno]
Veld actually likes Reno. Reno is, above all else, very loyal and very competent. Could he stand to be reminded how to appropriately wear a dress shirt? Possibly. But like a child who makes straight-A's, Reno gets to indulge in his perks until he's lost access to them. So long as his work is done effectively, Veld wouldn't say anything at all to him about his clothes. (Talk about canon I outright reject: Reno is not an idiot, thanks AC.)

I'm writing out my overarching headcanon about VIncent's life and how Gaia and it's people looked pre-SOLDIER program because I want too:
I'm of the mind that in Vincent's era, there was a lot of growth like we have in our own day and age, much like the 50s-70s, Midgar would have been a work in progress. Maybe only one or two upper plates would be finished and livable, but a sizable undercity was already underway to growth.
I believe that this would be when the beginning of the science department of Shinra would truly begin, so Shinra would have been using the Turks as more of their heavy hitters as SOLDIER was still a small budding program being thought up by Shinra's defense department.
Seeing as the war between Wutai and Shinra didn't happen until 1985, I'm going to go under the assumption that they were in a cold war with each other ever since the power company began building reactors, so the Turks would be much more utilized than they are now.
I have the headcanon that Vincent and Veld were partners or at least worked with each other when they were in the Turks and their missions would have looked like those of spies and government agents (with different rankings and capabilities. Not everyone would have the same job just like a normal government job.)
I also love the idea of their world having similar clothing styles and music to ours during those years, so Vincent and Veld would have been young adults in the 60's and 70's.
I also think that with what happened to Vincent (getting shot and killed by Hojo), he did actually die physically (lurcrecia even talks about how she can't stop the decaying when talking about Vincent in the tank in DoC) so there would be a loss of memory that Vincent would have from actually dying and being dead for however long.
Like sure, his memory loss could have been slowed by the Mako and experiments, but there would be SOME memory loss. So I think that the man we know now is not the whole Vincent he would have been. The reason I say that is because a lot of the memories he does have are from times at Shinra Manor and nothing really else. It's mostly from Shelke's POV that we get the remaining memories about Vincent's past, and that is from Lucrecia's POV of how she saw Vincent. So my HC is that Vincent has a lot more to him than he remembers about himself.
Anyway long-winded explanation of why I think Vincent Valentine has more than meets the eye and I can justify my more fun version of him XD
Back to it. Here's where my headcanons come in heavy:
I think Vincent's mother is a Wutainese woman, Grimiore having met her in his early years of exploration as a scientist, before things with Shinra started to get more competitive. I believe that when Vincent was a teenager, his mother left for Wutai due to the simmering tensions between the two powers, unable to take him with her as he had no citizenship there and I do not see him wanting to leave his home.
Vincent and Grimiore don't get a long for a while because Vincent thinks his father should have convinced her to stay. He joins the Turks at a young age, having met Veld (who I think is at least a decade older than Vincent) who worked with his father, not really knowing about the ins and outs of what a cold war meant or even who was the aggressor in the conflict. He knew his father worked for Shinra and they were bringing progress to their city and home, wanting to help any way he could.

//I’m trying to... work out how the remake timeline works with Vincent. bc the remake sets it up that ShinRa has only existed the way it does now for about a generation - President Shinra is 67 in the remake and he took Shinra Manufacturing Works and made it the Shinra Electric Power Company. I always tend to portray things as like, Veld, Heid, Hojo being sort of founding members. And I absolutely partner Veld and Vincent as Turks and I’m just struggling then to give Grimoire history within the company
