Ok. Can we fans discuss in potential reasons why Vince has the penchant for sculpting and painting (i'm pretty sure he painted that spider centaur thing) creatures with "monstrous" bodies and human torsos and faces?

I mean he could just be a mythology nerd who likes creating his own mythical creatures.

Or maybe it's something angsty like yeah these are monsters but at least they have humans and allow them to lure in unsuspecting victims. (like Bo 👀) Kinda like sirens and their song?

I'm graspin here to please someone hit me with them great thoughts!!

Hi there! I LOVE your writing for Otis - could you do one where his SO gets their period and makes a mess on the bed? (Unintentionally) and he notices when he wakes up in the middle of the night or something and reader is super embarrassed? Sorry my ask is so long!

I'm so glad you liked it! :) I changed this a bit to general period headcanons, I hope you don't mind. I did include something like this for Otis though~ ^^ (Didn't do many for this, just had some extra ideas for some of them I wanted to include ^^)

Also sorry this took like a whole decade to write omg

How the slashers would be when it's that time of the month for their S/O

(Thomas, Brahms, Michael, Beetlejuice, Bo, Vincent, Lester, Billy Lenz, Asa, Otis, Josef)

Thomas:

- Thomas is very sweet and understanding. If you aren't feeling well you won't lift a finger to help out with anything and he'll spoil you until you feel better

- Somehow, he knows exactly what to do to make you feel better (somehow meaning every time he leaves the room Luda Mae tells him what to do lol) Brings you teas, snacks, whatever you like that makes you feel better

- Probably neglects his own duties because he's concerned about you more than anything. Absolutely will snuggle with you all day if it makes you feel better. Tbh even if it doesn't he's happy to anyway

Brahms:

- Doesn't know what's wrong at first and won't pick up on it unless you say something. If you aren't feel well though he'll be really concerned, which he shows by following you around and staring at you like 👁👄👁 until you tell him

- He takes care of you for once. Where you are usually the more caring one that tends to him often, he'll do his best to be like that for you, even mimicking the things you do for him and taking care of the things you'd normally do instead. Even if it's sloppily, he'll try his best!

- Really sweet tbh. Will make you food and take care of you if you like, doing his best to make your favorites and do whatever he can think of to make you feel better and cheer you up

Michael:

- Pretty oblivious, probably won't notice if you don't say anything

- If you're not feeling well of course he'll be a little more concerned, though Michael being Michael he isn't great at expressing it

- He'll linger around a little more than usual to see if you're alright. Half the time you won't even notice this though because he'll just peep in on your from afar more often than usual (which, while being a little creepy, is his way of being sweet so ;-;)

Beetlejuice:

- Won't make a fuss, he'll just offer to help you however he can

- Beetlejuice would be surprisingly sweet with his S/O so he'll always look after you however he can (gotta write some individual headcanons for him bc I have /thoughts/)

- If you're not feeling well he'll cheer you up however he can. Coming from him there really isn't much of a limit as to what he can do to make you laugh and cheer you up so x_x

Bo:

- Kind of awkward? Of course he'd want to make you feel better but like...Probably doesn't really know what would make you feel better and is too afraid to ask lol

- A little sweeter than usual. He'll check in on you a lot to make sure you're okay, without really asking anything specific

- He would completely shock you by suddenly inviting you over to snuggle up next to him, for no reason. Though he'd really like cuddling secretly, he wouldn't often give the opportunity for it, so you'd be shocked!...But it would be his way of trying to comfort you. And probably himself too lol

Vincent:

- Hates seeing you being uncomfortable/not feeling well, and actually gets a little panicked because he doesn't really know how to make you feel better at first

- Thoughtful and attentive, nervously checking in and making sure you're alright. Anything that makes you feel better he'll happily try!

- Very gentle and reserved with you while secretly worried all the while about making you feel better and such. Probably needs a little reassurance himself. If you ask him to just come sit with you and snuggle up he'll melt :')

Lester:

- Similar to Vincent, he hates seeing you feel bad, but I think he'd be *slightly* less panicked. Asks you a bunch of questions about what he should do and what will make you feel better and does whatever you need/want without question

- Really sweet, he'd tend to you so attentively that it would almost be too much. He'd happily make a trip out to get you whatever you need, bringing you a little surprise specific to your personality to cheer you up and completely lighting up if he got a smile out of you

- A complete sweetheart in pretty much every regard. Very caring, sweet and thoughtful both when you aren't feeling well and otherwise

Billy Lenz:

- Kinda similar to Brahms, won't leave your side if he knows you aren't feeling well

- Will bombard you with things that he thinks will make you feel better. You end up surrounded with a pile of things around you and him standing there like plz 😶

- Very sweet, gets really upset if you're visibly not feeling well. Will snuggle you up without prompting, holding you tight and mumbling to you quietly, being surprisingly sweet (by his standards anyway) to make you feel better

Asa Emory (The Collector):

- Asa is surprisingly nice. Like yeah, you wouldn't think all things considered he would be nice/caring etc, but he is? Especially when he's ~Asa~ (I could do a whole post on this tbh)

- Mostly he just leaves you be, though he'll do anything he can to make you more comfortable. He's very attentive to you specifically so he quickly picks up one what makes you feel better

- Makes you smile with how often he checks in on you. He isn't really the most sweet/tender but sometimes he'll surprise you (and even himself) with how much he cares for you

Otis Driftwood:

- Otis certainly isn't the most thoughtful and considerate of the slashers, but he doesn't like to see you uncomfortable or feeling unwell, either

- He'd do his best to make sure you were comfortable, in his own way, asking surprisingly sweet questions (disguised in a grumpy voice, because he can't be too tender of course!) and check in on you a lot

- If you accidentally make a mess he really doesn't mind. Those things happen! He wouldn't want you to feel embarrassed so he might even pretend he didn't notice. If you know he knows he'll try so hard to make it seem like not a big deal, trying to cheer you up in his own way

Josef (Creep):

- Sweet! And kind of arrogant admittedly. He's very sure of himself that he can make you feel better, even though he doesn't know what to do really

- Will get so dramatic if you aren't feeling well and there's nothing he can do about it really. Wants to be helpful:(

- If you just want to snuggle up with him and rest he will both melt and clam up so bad. Just being close with him can make you feel better and comfort you? Umm :) (will be thinking about this forever, won't stop smiling to himself)

Asa Emory

He’d say no at first but after some persuading he’ll give you a weird creepy smile just to scare you off Brahms Heelshire

He’d ask for a kiss in return and if you say yes he’ll give you his best smile before demanding his payment. Billy Lenz

He giggles and gives you his big unique crooked smile because he knows it makes you smile as well and he finds your smile very pretty Bubba Sawyer

(today I freaked out, when I saw the eight-legged monster above my bed and wish I had some big stabby men here, who would save me :) )

Slashers X S/O With Arachnophobia

Michael Myers

He simply cannot understand why you’re afraid of spiders. You’re not afraid of a giant man who murders people, but you’re scared of a tiny insect with eight legs? Yeah, okay, makes sense.

The first time he sees you screaming and freaking out over a spider, he thinks that it’s hilarious. Michael has never seen you so scared of anything before. Not even he managed to get that kind of reaction from you when he was considering killing you. It amuses him that you’re so afraid of a bug.

When you scream for him it never fails to freak him out. He thinks that you’re in danger. So when he just sees you pointing at the spider he considers letting you suffer and deal with it on your own.

Once he’s done watching you have your bug breakdown he will kill it for you. It is his job to protect you after all and while he does occasionally enjoy seeing the fear in your eyes, he would much rather you fear him. That small bug is stealing his thunder, so it has got to go.

Bo Sinclair

There is most definitely plenty of spiders in Ambrose. Majority of the places are run down on the inside, which makes them a safe haven for creepy crawlies. So unfortunately for you, there will be plenty of encounters with the eight legged horrors that are spiders.

The first time Bo hears you scream he panics, thinking that you’re in danger. So when he finds you pointing at a spider, it’s safe to say that he is a little bit upset.

At the same time he also finds it endearing and loves that you come running to him to save you. It shows that you trust him to protect you, even from little nuisances.

But still, even though he does think you’re being dramatic he’s quick to squash them. Bo knows that there’s plenty of spiders in Louisiana that could be dangerous and land you in the ER so he’s more than happy to handle them for you.

Be prepared for Bo to give you hell about your fear though. “What are you so scared for darlin’? The thing ain’t but the size of a dime, if that.”

Vincent Sinclair

He spends most of his time in dark, cool tunnels underground. There’s spiders absolutely everywhere in his workshop, Vincent is just used to them at this point.

Vincent does his best to keep you up in the house after the first time a spider crawls over your leg and you loose your mind. That effort lasted about all of one day considering he hates working alone now and misses your presence. Knowing that you want to be with him also doesn’t help his resolve any.

Used to try and save the spiders but eventually gave up. There’s simply to many of them in Ambrose, so saving them just doesn’t do any good.

Luckily, Vincent takes your fear of spiders very seriously. So anytime you call upon him to save you from the eight legged nuisances he is always quick to oblige.

If you interrupt his work though it may annoy him a little bit but he’ll never let you know that. He knows that you can’t help your phobia, but don’t expect him to stick around after he finishes the job. May also get a little bit of an attitude afterwards as well but always ends up apologizing.

Brahms Heelshire

Spiders don’t phase Brahms. He lives in the walls with plenty of them and has more than likely come to appreciate them. Which is very surprising for Brahms. So sometimes he tries to save the spiders and move them outside. Unless he’s been bitten by one.

If Brahms has been bitten by a spider before then it just turns into the two of you freaking out and arguing over who has to kill the spider.

“Be a gentleman, Brahms! You kill the spider.” “No! You kill it, you’re the one being paid!”

If you don’t want to deal with the spiders, all it takes is Malcolm stepping on one for you one time when you started freaking out. Brahms saw you thank him for it and got jealous. Now Brahms is your official protector from creepy crawlies, not Malcolm.

Thomas Hewitt

You’re going to have to get over your fear of spiders if you want to live in the Hewitt house. The old place does a terrible job of keeping the bugs outside so you’ll see them scurrying across the floor pretty frequently.

You know what they say, everything is bigger in Texas. Turns out, the spiders are no exception, so good luck.

Thomas is very busy and handles most of the chores for the family. He doesn’t have the time to run to your rescue every time you see a spider.

When he is with you he won’t hesitate to kill them for you though. Thomas isn’t afraid of people with weapons, why should he be afraid of a small critter with eight legs?

Luda Mae would honestly just look at you like your stupid if you tell her about your fear. Nonetheless any spider she sees it quickly whacked with an old newspaper before you even have a chance to see it.

Billy Loomis

“How come you never scream for me like that, babe?”

Billy thinks it’s absolutely hilarious that you’re afraid of something so small. You can date a murderer but an eight legged bug is where you draw the line?

While he loves to tease you about it, he will still save you from the spiders. What kind of boyfriend would he be if he didn’t? “Ask nicely and I might kill it for you.” “You’ll kill people but not the spider?” “You know what, just for that you can kill it yourself. Have fun!” Or maybe not…

Walks away but circles right back around when he hears you freaking out again. Then he gets dramatic about everything and starts huffing and rolling his eyes at you.

Stu Macher

Much like Billy, Stu teases you but in a less condescending way. Stu keeps his teasing more lighthearted, he just has a tendency to go to far with it from time to time.

Is also very dramatic and makes a whole scene out of killing the spider for you. Acts like he’s your knight in shining armor.

On the bright side, him being a complete dork distracts you from the spider. Unlike some people *cough cough Billy* he doesn’t delay the part where he kills the spider.

However, he does expect payment for saving you and protecting you from the big bad arachnid. It’s okay he accepts cuddles and kisses as a form of payment.

Jesse Cromeans

He has spent to much time on his murder sprees in the Deep South to be scared of spiders. Everyone knows that the south has plenty of deadly spiders and Jesse sin;t fazed by any of them so you can count on him to keep you safe.

There aren’t any spiders in his house either. Jesse has to much money to allow any sort of bugs get anywhere close to his house. Any time you see a spider within the house it’s most likely already dead anyways.

Jesse finds your fear of the bugs cute. It makes you seem so innocent. His sweet kitten isn’t afraid of him or what he does but they’re afraid of a tiny little spider.

Asa Emory

Asa doesn’t fear spiders, the spiders fear him.

Unlike the other slashers, Asa doesn’t tolerate bug homicide. Any time you find a spider in the house you better let him know so that he can safely get rid of it.

Some times he’ll keep the spiders that find their way into the house. Spiders are his favorite after all and native species are important for the environment.

Sadly, he would use your fear against you if he deems it necessary. As long as you listen to him though, there won’t be any issue.

The Slashers helping their S/O get rid of a bug:

Thomas Hewitt

Thomas isn’t bothered by bugs.

He thinks it’s a kind of cute that bugs scare you. They’re harmless, they can’t hurt you, but he gets it...they’re kinda creepy looking.

He’ll handle it for you without even having to be asked.

He’ll pick it up and place it outside.

When he gets your thanks in the form of praise and multiple kisses to the face, he knows that he would definitely do it again.

Cut to him getting rid of bugs just to make you more comfortable and earn some kisses, even though he doesn’t need to work for those.

Michael Myers

Michael will do one of two things.

Firstly he’ll give you an unapproving look. Really...you’re scared of a bug?

But no worries, he’s to the rescue. He’ll pick it up in his hand, completely unfazed.

If he’s in a playful mood, he’ll walk right up to you, holding his hand out. Under the mask is an amused smirk when you squeal and hurry away from him.

But he won’t torture you too much, heading outside and just...throwing the bug away. Well, it won’t bother you now.

Jason Voorhees

You better get used to the bugs when you’re living in a cabin in the middle of the woods...

But if you tell Jason that you don’t like bugs, he’ll do what he can to bug proof the cabin.

Jason would never tease you for asking him to deal with a bug that managed to invade the cabin.

He’ll pick it up, walk out side, place it down, and return to you. Simple but effective.

Plus...he’s a fan of all the thanks and praise you give him once he returns.

Brahms Heelshire

Despite living in the walls, Brahms isn’t a fan of bugs either.

Preferably, he wouldn’t be the one getting rid of the creepy-crawlies that appear around the house.

But since you really don’t seem to like them, he’ll handle it! Even he knows that you do more for him than he does for you, so he can deal with the bugs.

...even if reluctantly...

Will just squish it. Doesn’t have the courage to attempt to pick it up and risk it running at him.

Now...come and give your protector a kiss!!!

Bo Sinclair

Oh...Bo is going to tease you so much about this.

Really? You’re afraid of bugs? And he just chuckles when you blush and pout.

But he gives in, getting rid of the bug in one way or another.

Might threaten to leave the bug be or even bring it towards you, just chuckling and shaking his head when you plead with him to just get rid of it.

When you huff at him, he’ll just kiss your forehead. Still laughing to himself as he walks away.

Vincent Sinclair

Vincent won’t tease you. While bugs don’t scare him, he doesn’t like them. He kind of gets it.

So, he’ll get rid of them for you without a fuss.

Just nodding when you thank him.

He does think it’s kind of cute that something so small can freak you out like that but he doesn’t like seeing you uncomfortable for any reason, so he’ll happily dispose of the bug for you.

Lester Sinclair

Well, bugs don’t bother Lester at all! So he’ll handle it, don’t you worry!

He’ll scoop it up, likely just using his hands, and carry it outside. Placing it down and telling it to hurry away before returning to you.

Come give your hero a kiss!

Bubba Sawyer

The house gets its fair share of bugs, one will show up every now and again.

When Bubba sees you distressed, he gets distressed. What?! What is it?!

Oh...a bug?...okay! No worries, he’ll handle it!

It’s a 50/50 chance that he’ll bother to carry it outside or he’ll just squish it. All done! Have no fear, Y/n!

Billy Lenz

Bugs don’t bother him too much. He’s not fond of them but he can deal with them if you really don’t like them.

He’ll kill it for you. Even if you ask him to just take it outside, he’ll still probably just kill it.

And once he’s done, he’s wrapping his arms around you and kissing your cheek. Does he get a kiss as a reward? Maybe a cuddle for protecting you?

Asa Emory (The Collector)

...you don’t like bugs?

Well...he wishes you had said something sooner.

Seriously though, he doesn’t understand why bugs bother you all that much but he’ll deal with them for you.

He’ll just take them outside or place them out of the window. No big deal.

Might tease you about it just because it’s so trivial to him and he likes getting you flustering or winding you up.

Jesse Cromeans (Chromeskull)

Consider it dead.

Bugs don’t bother him but if they bother you, he’ll handle it. Plus, he doesn’t want any bugs in his home, duh.

He’ll handle it for you without complaint. He might playfully tease you about it.

Of all the things you’ve seen being with him...a single bug bothers you?

You’re adorable.

Otis Driftwood

Otis just raises an eyebrow at you when you ask him to get rid of a bug for you.

“You’re fucking kidding me, right?”

When you just nod, giving him those puppy dogs eyes, he huffs but gets up to help you out.

You just watch as he crushes the bug, not caring about letting it outside. There, it’s gone.

He’s not really annoyed but pretends to be since it was such a silly little thing to him, but he can’t keep the act up when you wrap your arms round him and kiss his cheek, thanking him.

Baby Firefly

Admittedly, Baby is a little amused by your reaction to such a little thing.

“You don’t like bugs? Alright, Doll!”

She thinks bugs are gross too. They just don’t bother her too much. So, she can definitely be the partner in the relationship that gets rid of the bugs.

She’ll get up and squish it before dropping back down to sit beside you.

See, you have nothing to worry about!

Yautja (Predator)

That...that’s what’s scaring you?

He doesn’t get it. It’s not dangerous. It’s tiny. It’s no threat.

Look at him! You’re dating a big scary alien and you’re scared of a little bug? You are fascinating...

But, he is a good mate! So, he will exterminate the little pest for you! He’ll just kill it, won’t bother on moving it outside unless you request it of him.

Then he will, even if he still doesn’t understand that.

Absolutely plays some of your audios while he works. He keeps odd hours and can't see you as often as he'd like when he's working on a figure, so listening to your voice is the next best thing.

Jesse Cromeans:

You want a nice recording studio with all the latest tech? Jesse can get you that. Supportive of your endeavors there and may or may not require his employees to watch your videos to bring up your view count.

Your editing skills could come in handy, he might request your services in editing the videos he makes.

He would prefer if you would cover a little bit more true crime and unsolved mysteries type content on your channel, purely for narcissistic reasons. He would just love to hear what you have to say about him while trying to act like you've no idea who the mysterious 'Chromeskull' killer is.

Asa Emory:

Just views it as a little hobby of yours. Deals with it the most maturely of any of them, he knows you wouldn't blab about anything.

Asa would still prefer if you don't go around advertising it to the neighborhood though. He has a specific persona he likes to have, and his s/o reading scary stories online clashes with that.

Has absolutely no interest in the fictional stories you read, but sometimes listens to them on his way to work. Though, he would probably not let you find out.

Brahms Heelshire:

Brahms first finds out about your narrating before you even find out about him. Instead, you think that creepy haunted doll you watch over is just really trying to ruin your recordings, when in actually it's the grown-ass man living in the walls trying to ruin your recordings.

Doesn't like that you've got connections outside the house, and that you have fans. Once he reveals himself to you, he'll want you to stop.

But you can probably convince him to let you keep recording, especially once you let him try it (his anger at the activity is massively overshadowed by his curiosity). Your viewers would be very interested in hearing his very pleasing voice. Then, you might get a co-narrator.
