Today we get to work on some appliqué! ☀️ We do not get the chance to put one together very often, but this one is special. A golden eagle highlighted by the sun flying over the Rocky Mountains. This appliqué is a design by @westfieldlaserdesign that we adapted to create a golden eagle. We can not wait to finish it!

One of the wonderful books I am reading this month is The Sun is Also a Star. Nicola Yoon is a great writer who tackles the difficulties of love, and the struggles of immigration.

Happy Small Quilting Business Anniversary!  I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce ourselves again, so everyone knows who "we" are. Six years ago my mother Dawn and I started a home quilting business after we made quilted gifts for our friends.

We love making and selling new quilts for our online Etsy shop. We both design, and choose the fabric to make each quilt special, handmade, and unique. While I cut out and longarm each quilt, my mother Dawn sews and binds them. She does an amazing 1/4 inch! We love to make custom quilts for customers in any pattern, fabric, or quilt size.

We also finish quilts for other quilters. So, if you would like us to longarm quilt, embroidery, finish sewing, or bind a quilt, we are happy to help!
