Broad beans have been cultivated for thousands of years and the reason for this is simple, they are very nutritious, they are easy to grow and they have many uses in the garden, broad beans as a cover crop, have one of the highest nitrogen-fixing rates! So why not growing broad beans either for their healthy seeds or as cover crops?

Food prices are increasing and impacting us all. My hope for this free resource is that you feel less alone, encouraged and inspired to grow more food. I am still taking contributions for the ebook but will be closing soon. We have been receiving nearly as many questions about gardening as we have food gardening ideas. This ebook is about and for our community. Many are sharing that they are worried about food price increases and they are themselves stressed and over tired. They are wanting to grow more food and start gardening but overwhelmed with where to start. For these reasons I will be accepting a smaller amount of food gardening ideas (less then 100) and will do a Q & A section at the back of the book with common asked questions.
