vee doing duolingo spanish with the others is funny bc there are 2 main possibilities:

1: before the reveal, camila was stuck wondering (and probably worrying) about why her daughter suddenly seemed to forget how to speak spanish

2: vee already knows spanish via some weird basilisk power, but she's doing the lessons with the others just because she likes to feel included :3

(tangentially: how did she write those letters? i know belos didn't teach his unethical experiments how to read. ARE there weird basilisk language acquisition powers? or did she make an excuse to have masha or some other camp friend transcribe for her?)
