I always LOVE how foreigners build Russian names

I mean Tatiana Slozhno? Just take random russian word and make it a surname.

It means "difficult", lol. I didn’t believe it when I saw her surname, but it's realy Slozhno.

Also "Tati" is realy cute name variation. Classic diminutive is "Tanya", "Tanechka". I also met "Tata", but not in real life.

vanger borschtit is secretly prince feurgin and the guy that did get killed was actually a body double and even though they look nothing alike no one suspected because the prince has never appeared in public before

owen figures this out somehow because he's owen and kills the body double, but convinces von nazi to kidnap vanger, who is secretly the prince so they still kidnapped him anyway

and also that's why vanger acts super nervous around all the people insulting the prince

Barb would 100% be interested in Chimera, at least because she respects the technological side. this, of course, would tear Curt apart

Curt isn't ever sober again after he killed Owen. the guilt of it makes sure of that

Tatiana is also an alcoholic

Tatiana never ends up seeing her family again. it's been over 20 years, who's to say they'd remember her?

Vanger never recovers from seeing the prince die and lives with the birds :)

whether it was intentionally meant to make him worse or not, both Cynthia and Barb have used Curt's alcoholism to benefit themselves

Tatiana has trouble feeling like she's real, cause in her past she was just treated like a soldier and nothing else

this is just off the top of my head. this makes it seem like i hate barb. i don't! i find her interesting, but she's kinda fucked up in her actions sometimes.

(actually not really an au, just saf characters as bbc ghosts characters)

curt: either allison or robin. i really like the idea of his dead friends supporting him (also ties into Gay Flashbacks from saf) but if he were a ghost he'd absolutely just fuck with everybody on purpose like that

owen: CAP. repressed, gay, obsessed with something that's been over for a while, tendency to be overly militaristic and a bit ruthless, but can be really sweet if he likes you, willing to help in a murder way

tati: fanny. can look scary and unapproachable, knows how to play the game in social settings, but if you get to know her she's an incredibly intelligent person who just needs someone to get her

barb: pat (also kitty+fanny). i typed this whole thing out and realised that kitty's personality mixed with fanny's intellect is just pat, scout master always willing to help, almost too nice, a little intense at times

cynthia: julian. besides the fact that the fandom has to collectively ignore their politics to like them, i just think it would be funny if she dies like he did, also government pieces of shit, the both of them /pos

informant: humphrey. really quite reasonable and level headed (pun intended), but conflicted about who they are at their core, not really around much but a real delight when you get the chance to see them

mama mega: mary. not entirely sure what's going on at any given moment, but no one really gets her either, often seen as a bit weird and jumping to conclusions based on superstition

mama mega (alt.): mike. but only if curt's the allison figure, obviously different relationship type, but even though she can't fully understand what he's going through, she's super supportive

i think curt would also be very mike if owen were allison. but i wanted him to be able to see the ghosts bc he would HATE it (like more than mike) if there was this whole other thing and he wasnt involved in it. thats getting me thinking on another au where someone (owen) can see ghosts but thats unrelated. point is curt is very mike personality wise but i would like to see him in more of an allison or robin role

If the Tinlightenment kickstarter is funded you get to relive fan favourite show Spies Are Forever in a live concert screening!

The LA show on Friday 26th April will feature almost all of the members of the original cast (that’s right, including Joe Walker!) PLUS Mariah Rose Faith, James Tolbert (who have actually never been on stage together! it’s gotta happen!) and Tom Lenk as well as one more still to be announced. Mariah will be playing Mysterious Woman singing Spies Are Forever and Coldest Goodbye, James will be singing Susan and The Informant, and Tom will be Vanger Borschtit, plus they’ll all be in the ensemble

The London show in early September will feature Joey, Lauren and Brian

Most importantly, doing this event will continue to bring them closer to eventually doing another fully staged production of the show!

Owen is definitely up there, I love Tatiana and Sergio too. I would love a Tatiana prequel show I know it’s not gonna happen but I need to see more of her. I really should rewatch it I watch it so often but I want to see it again. I’ll probably do that later today
