I'm not able to go to Spy Another Day, but I've been working on this Spies Are Forever wood segmentation piece off and on since the tinlightenment campaign back in February. I swore to myself I'd get it done before the LA Spies show, and I just barely made it! I absolutely cannot wait to watch the digital ticket for this

This show has meant so much to me. It has gotten me through a few very difficult months, and I can't wait to hang this on the wall of my workshop and be reminded of a thing that inspires me.

The backer board is 3/8" red oak plywood, "Forever" is cut out of 3/8" baltic birch plywood, the "spies are" is 1/4" baltic birch plywood, and the cityscape is 1/8" marine plywood. The figures are 3/8" baltic birch, the shape of each color is cut out individually, sanded, painted, and put back together like a puzzle.

No because this is so real. My friend who got me into starkid told me there was a musical that had my favorite status quo democrat as the lead guy and I was like "Yeah I'll watch that"

I signed up for an uplifting gay spy comedy and now I've drawn all 55 saf characters and saf become a facet of my personality.

I just wanted to watch the musical with Ted Spankoffski and the weird sniggle in it, and now here I am frantically posting screenshots where actors talk about their haircuts like I'm unraveling some ancient esoteric mystery. What the fuck is this show?? How does it do this to people?

As we know, I cannot stop thinking about a Curtwen Music Man date (its gonna be a chapter in a fic I'm writing). While in canon, they couldn't have seen it together because opening night was in December of 1957, it's my fanfic so I control time, so I moved that day a couple years ahead and now it's possible.

Agent Curt Mega is a HUGE Robert Preston fan, and his bf Owen Carvour knows that. So Owen used his powers of persuasion (and a little bit of blackmail) to get Curt and him opening night tickets to Music Man
