So, how are we feeling about the theory that Nandor has been floating around the idea of turning Guillermo (or maybe even had a set date??) this season & thats part of why Laszlo & Nadja have reacted so strongly to Guillermo's (half) turning?

I didn't give Laszlo's whole "I'll convince Nandor to bite you" beyond it being a desperate (and delusional) plan from a panicked Laszlo trying to spare Nandor a terrible pain

BUT

In 5x06 Nadja claims Guillermo could have "been turned by a legend"

And she sounds really upset about that as well. Not just Guillermo's betrayal/how hurt Nandor will be, but that Guillermo wasted his turning. Which wouldn't make sense, unless she knew Nandor had started floating the idea seriously?

It would also mean Laszlo's plan to make Guillermo human again so Nandor can bite him a solid one. I 100% doubt Laszlo could convince Nandor to bite Guillermo if 5 years of Guillermo begging (and at points crying) for Nandor to turn him didn't sway him.

However, if Nandor had been considering it off-screen, AND both Laszlo & Nadja were aware of this, then these reactions/plans make more sense.

I can only imagine we'd be given thee most painful reveal, like, Nandor happily telling Guillermo he'll be making him a vampire now & Guillermo just immediately blurting out "I asked Derek to bite me" </3

I mean, blood type doesn't usually Matter to the vampire (aside from taste preferences)

Kyoko was just saying that to make him feel better as, in the real world, AB type people can receive any type as a transfusion so picking AB is the most practical choice.

Also I never said monokuma would actually replace the blood bags, that was just kyoko's reasonable assumption. monokuma however, does not listen to reason.

Also I think the blood in the minifridge is less monokuma provided it and more he forgot to remove what was already on hopes peak.

After all, those bags would need to be there for trial 3 and it would be impossible for them to go completely unnoticed by kirigiri in the meantime.

After trial 3, monokuma used cleaning the nurses office as an excuse to get rid of the remaining blood bags.

He would claim they went out of date (since that can happen with blood bags) and, as a result, would be dangerous to use as a transfusion

He would definitely use the 'there's blood everywhere' excuse when asked why he's not replacing them

To which kyoko argues that fresh blood is in increasingly short supply due to the deaths and, as a result, monokuma hasn't kept his promise to restock the food supplies.

Naturally this greatly angers monokuma and is part of the reason trial 5 happens

However there is 1 bit where I disagree with you

There is 1 time monokuma would give makoto a blood bag

Trial 6

He was obsessed with making sure that trial was fair. It's not exactly fair if one participant is on the verge of starvation and has so many injuries no one knows how he's still standing

In this situation, monokuma would give him a blood bag just so his precious viewers can't argue that it isn't fair.

Also in school mode (aka the robot building side game) he would provide bloodbags as there are no killings in school mode and he needs all the students healthy to create his spares.

This fact, combined with the fact that the entire school is unlocked in school mode, means that makoto would have access to replenishing blood bags from the start.

School mode Makoto is a healthy Makoto

i think monokuma just wouldnt give makoto blood bags basically at all. it's an out on what could be very good drama, and the fact that makoto has to predate on his classmates for food breeds distrust between him and everyone else. it's dramatic we cant miss out on that. plus, talking specifically post-trial 5, kyoko does come down for makoto in the garbage dump. she'd probably offer her blood to him so that he can function, and monokuma would take that as an excuse to not give him anything. but it's whatever.

school mode he would be fine yeah, but it's a non factor in this au. the time he's actually gonna be healthy is when FF takes them in post-thh, since they'll be supplying him with blood bags to keep the face of the foundation from looking like a corpse

Learning about oceanography has kinda fucked me up re: siege of x-41 and also the atlantean plot lines from 2010ish that it’s built on. bc like. “Black smokers trench”. Ok. So trenches are like subduction zones right. Convergent plate borders. And hydrothermal vents like to form at mid ocean ridges. Divergent plate borders. Or in other cases, NEAR subduction zones and trenches… but not IN them. Like ok so when oceanic crust subducts under other crust to form a trench, all that crust gets like ‘melted’ down and there’s a lot of volcanic activity PARALLEL to the trench but not IN the trench. Like ok Stuart Moore I get that you wanted to make up a location suitable to this deep sea fish vampire plot. And whether you knew it or not, the two features you chose to lump together are both deeply rooted in tectonic activity. But like. Dude. This really is not how it works. At all. 💙
