😴: In another sort of universe entirely, V___, a ranger of Lostlorn Forest, sizes up the new placement to their station. They know why they got this kid--they got just as early a start as she did. Hopefully not under the same circumstances. Still, she seems eager. Polite. This could work. "Hey, kid, what's your name? I'm V___." They hold out their hand to the kid, who shakes it earnestly. "I'm Safrina. It's very nice to meet you!"

😨: The dream isn't a nightmare per se. It's pretty simple, really. Just a talk Vanilla's giving at Naranja-Uva, thanks to his Cobalion-based business ties. But every time she makes eye contact with the girl with the purple streak, she feels a deep sense of deja vu. It's nothing... probably.

A happy confession and a related request to long-time collectors

 I didn’t even get through the first half of January without buying another doll. Hey, it was an older limited release doll in a special resin color that has been on my wishlist for a long time and he suddenly just kind of popped up. Box, COA, first owner, she bought him from the company, everything’s in order. This is a doll I really didn’t expect to find. She said she felt like renewing and freshening up her collection this year so she was selling some older dolls that were boxed up and she just didn’t mess with much anymore. Lucky me! Since I only buy legit dolls, I have to approach my secondary wishlist of old-ass LE dolls realistically, knowing I’ll probably never find most of them. So many cool dolls came and went before I even entered this hobby. A lot of those went into collections and never go back out. Curiously, I have found quite a few though so I‘ve learned to always keep a little mad money stashed away and ready for this very situation. Over my years in the hobby, this is the 3rd time I’ve decided ‘Eh, no doll for Christmas, I’m not feeling it’ and then had an older wishlist doll pop up in January and come home by Valentine’s Day. Who am I to say no to fate in these kinds of situations? So welcome home Mr V___, glad you could join the doll party. 

As an aside, if you are one of the people who has been in the hobby a long time and you have older LE dolls in your collection that you aren’t still quite in love with, this year please do consider at least putting out a feeler to re-home one or more of them in order to let someone new have a chance to love them as well as to make room in your own collection for something new. I’m sure I’m not the only one who missed their chance at some of them and it is also fun to see long-time collectors get excited with a renewed hobby interest by buying a new doll! Thank you for reading through my probably boring confession.

everyone in the basic eight is a different color to me. kate is navy blue (obv) v___ is lavender flan is any color but usually more desaturated lily is dark brown douglas is beige gabriel is warm green jennifer rose milton is pastel pink/salmon and natasha is scarlet. idk where i got these opinions (i don't think some of them have ever even described wearing those colors??) but i feel very strongly about them

#flora is any color but more vibrant. but her colors usually don't match </3 #adam doesnt have enough fashion sense/vibes to get a color.

Baker’s Cap (earthy, yeasty, mushroom) Armorgrass (coppery, verdant, grass) Dragon’s Blood (but, actually from a dragon, not a plant) it’s a orange-yellow soft powdery mineral (earthy, yellow, imparts a subtle pang of ‘desire to tunnel’) Soup (doesn’t have anything to do with soup. does not smell very much like soup) Ransom’s Curtain (earthy, rainy, musky, mushroom. smoking it imparts feralness but incense is mostly fine) some sort of very tall evergreen (cedary, burnt hair if that was good and not bad. imparts a little tall) something related to catnip (catnippy, minty, invigorating. can impart “:3″) ____rug (mossy, ‘damp cave’, rainy. moss) v___’s lace (sweet, jasmine, poppy. do *not* offer this to any deity other than v___)
