I've done like three different warps in the past five days because the inkle loom is so much faster and easier to set up than the rigid heddle

granted the twist buildup is still a nightmare and I don't have a good way to deal with it yet but whatever, one step at a time

#currently I use fishing swivels and just periodically remove the warp entirely #scooch the twist back to the swivel and untwist it #and then replace the warp on the loom #I suspect this works primarily because the loom is so tiny #cannot emphasize enough how much I do not recommend removing the warp to get rid of the twist #however I also tried just untying the warp and then retying it after releasing the twist buildup. #that went about as well as you imagine it would lmao

my pains gone down to where i can walk around pretty freely now and im just so happy that that cyst is gone and the surgery is behind me and it all went as well as i could have hoped
