"You’re not only heroes at home, you’re heroes around the world for standing up to tyranny. And you show to the rest of the world that might doesn’t make right. That if you have justice on your side, you will prevail"

catching up on Timothy Snyder’s Ukrainian history class (I’ve missed the last three) and you just gotta love how causally and smoothly he manages to make a call for donations to United 24 (and while we’re at it.... go and donate to United 24!!!!)

& yeah i'm sure misha -- the u24 ambassador -- had absolutely nothing to do with jared making the necessary connections to be a part of the video for ukraine! .../s (no really, basically saw a jp fan say as much and my mind was truly boggled!)
but WHY do they hate Misha so much????? I genuinely do not understand. I mean I get if they are J/2 shippers but then they say cockles isn't real. So why do they feel threatened?? Mind boggling

Misha filmed/was photographed a lot when he was in Ukraine because every U24 ambassador does that. It only takes a scroll through the official Instagram to see that — social media content raises awareness for the important causes.
I thought that was obvious? I don’t know why certain people have to try to make it into something else, be that negative (supposedly for clout/self promotional reasons) or connected to CMP.
At this stage we don’t really know what Jensen+Danneel/CMP and Misha have planned. Only really that there are “several things at several stages” and obviously that the writers strike affects everything currently. Misha did mention potentially having Danneel on Roadfood season 2 but that didn’t work out, probably because of scheduling reasons (understandable with all the children)
Misha could be doing more, I'm just not reading anything into Jensen's comment, which makes perfect sense in context. Fandom gets really spun up on rumors and guesses. Since I've been in the fandom, I've lost track of projects people were certain that J2M would be taking part in.

U24/LO1A Commissioning
Job Roles in the commissioning process
Commissioning Editor - This is the person ‘at the top’, they have the final say on whether the idea will go into production or not.
Executive Producer - This person is responsible for making sure that the conditions which the commissioner proposes are met.
Producer - The producer is directly in the middle of the production, they bring together all sides of the production team and making them gel together. The Producer also has a large involvement when selecting the script.
Director - The director is the main creative drive behind bringing the script onto the screen.
Editorial Administrator / Editorial Assistant - These 2 roles are very similar, they both do a lot of the same duties but they both provide administrative support to the commissioning editor.
Researcher - The Researcher is as simple as the title says, they research things like topic information for the scripts, location research for the actual shoots, doing a lot of the paperwork etc.
Literary Agent - This is the agent of the writer, this person has the best interests in mind for the writer in terms of the fees they will receive for the script or the exposure the writer will get when they use the script.
Writer - The obvious role, the person responsible for the original dialogue in the original script, 100% from scratch.
Script Editor - This role is similar to the writer, however they aren’t the writer, they work closely with the writer to ensure the script can be fleshed out to be as successful as it possibly can. They never write a fully fledged script, however they will give advice and help the writer during the writing process.
Commissioning Bodies
There are multiple different commissioning bodies, these include;
Corporations - BBC - An almost obvious example, one of the leading broadcasting companies in the country, they will almost always be looking for scripts to pick up and use themselves through the commissioning process and independent production companies.
Independent Production Companies - Bedlam Productions Ltd - primarily a feature film and documentary production company.
Independent Directors and Producers - Woody Allen - not only a producer and a director, 4 time oscar winner and writer of over 70 films Woody Allen is known for his writing and directing in films such as Annie Hall, Midnight In Paris and Manhattan.
Organisations - Independent Cinema Office - This organisation is a supporting organisation for people who want to independently exhibit media through cinemas, film societies and film festivals. They work on large and small scales, working with some of the smallest film festivals in the UK on occasions yet also having training programmes incorporated with companies such as Warner Brothers.
Competitions - The Sunday Times: First Light - First Light provides younger filmmakers in their teens to express their creativity by writing, location scouting, directing, acting and editing their own short film. This organisation helps young people from all types of backgrounds, for example in 2011 Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy from Harry Potter) visited the Petchey Academy in East London as an ambassador for First Light to help young people show their creativity in filmmaking.
Due to the industry being so large it can be difficult for writers to actually get the engine started on their writing career, which is why there are organisations such as “Clapperboard” to help get the process started. Clapperboard is a youth project which enables young people to participate in a short film-making project which is judged by the company, this enables younger people to get links in the industry. From this the writers could also use a Networking technique, this is when people of a similar profession form business relationships to speak to each other concerning any opportunities which are available or could be possible. Networking can help for the future of a writers career and can be very effective, especially in the media industry where there is almost always some kind of job going.
The role of the writer throughout production
The first part of the writers process in the filmmaking process is planning the pre-production, thinking what will need to happen and succeed before anybody even thinks about going into production, for example this could be locations for specific scenes as the writer could have a perfect idea in mind for that scene. After thinking about this is ensuring that the script is in order to fit the target audience, if the writer isn’t certain that the film isn't going to appeal to the audience which the film is meant to be targeted at they can't even think about selling the idea because they will instantly get rejected for not meeting the demands of the director/producer. When the writer is happy that they are going to achieve reaching the target audience they will then bring in the director and producer, this is just for opinions of the script and any advice they can give on how to improve it or change things.
Once the script is in its final draft and the director, producer and writer are completely happy with it they move on to writing a shooting script, this is just the original script however it includes the camera movements/angles which the specific scenes/shots will be taken in, this is to make the production process run smoother instead of basing everything off “what looks good” at the time. Once the shooting script is complete they do a “Page lock-down”, basically the final verdict on what is and isn’t going to be shot in production, when the decision is made this is when the film moves into production and they begin shooting. You would think that would be the end for the writer, however there are possibilities the writer will be needed again during the shooting stage, they might be asked back to view what has already been produced and what could be improved.
