So Veronica breaks up with Archie and decides she wants to be with Reggie because they both have these big New York dreams all of a sudden (contradicting everything we’ve seen from Veronica this season) and Archie wants to stay in Riverdale.

Then in the next episode, purely because Reggie failed an exam that he can retake and Veronica has to wait a bit longer for the scandal of her killing Chad in self-defence to die down before she can work on Wall Street, again…. They decide they don’t want that anymore? They want to stay in Riverdale together?

And Archie has longed for Veronica all season but when she dumped him he was sad for about five seconds before Betty approached him. (Reads a lot like a rebound to me, but go off, I guess).

Now Evan is saying that Varchie were just hooking up all season even though they clearly weren’t.

You can’t do a complete u-turn on ships that have been together for seasons in the span of two episodes and expect the audience to route for this new direction. It’s just bad writing.

I seriously hope that this is just a thing for the five episode event because if it’s not then I’m not sure if I can enjoy this show anymore. Season 5 started off so promising and then it went to complete shit.

Canon literally just means it happens on the show.

In 2x01, Fred dreamed that Archie and Veronica got married.

Does that mean that Archie and Veronica canonically got married? No.

Does that mean that Fred canonically dreamed that Archie and Veronica got married? Yes.

Everything on the show is canon, because that’s literally what canon means. It happens in the source material. RAS is phrasing things very carefully, and it really does seem like it’s an AU to me. I wouldn’t cling to “RAS said it’s canon” too much.

At the very least, I don’t think that baby is really going to happen.

You reblogged from another blog, commenting on how homophobic the Anti side of the fandom can be. I find that a tad hypocritical, considering that particular blog has said some incredibly biphobic things, including how disappointed they would be if H ended up with a woman. At any rate, that particular titbit was presented without a source, and your tags indicated that you had seen some of this behavior, so I’m wondering if you can source some of it or give some examples?

Um well I saw what the anon had referred to... And I, a queer trans person, have been harassed repeatedly by antis (including being accused of being a closet larrie) for discussing Harry’s non-straightness.

Also, I’m going to copy and paste something from the OP’s blog from the day of the message at hand:

i dont think i could ever say i’d be mad at harry or ‘disappointed’ in him if he chose to only ever be seen with women. he doesn’t owe me or anyone else that, and i know that. of course he could also still experience same gender attraction and also only ever publicly date women and that wouldnt make him any less lgbt. idk, i think its alright to feel this way as long as u acknowledge that harry doesnt owe us his sexuality and wanting him to openly date men doesn’t mean that he ever has to or that if he never does then he’s less than what u thought he was before. That’s another thing... Antis love to call lgbt people homobphobic/biphobic/transphobic and I’m tired. Straight antis do that all the time and like..... Gross. Just gross.
