Just saw the news about Tyler Christopher, and I'm heartbroken. I grew up with him as Nikolas Cassadine, and his take on the dark prince archetype was unmatched, and one of the things that made me fall in love with GH. He was so talented, and deserved more kindness in this life than he received. May he RIP.

Tyler Christopher was one of my favorites. From everything I saw him in. But him as Nicholas Cassadine was always my favorite. I could never get behind anyone as Nicholas because Tyler played him so freaking amazing that even when he was up to something bad you still just couldn’t help but root for him. I always hoped he would step back into the role.

RIP Tyler Christopher, you will be missed by all those that love you!

Tyler Christopher Baker (November 11, 1972 – October 31, 2023), known professionally as Tyler Christopher. Television actor best known for his roles as Nikolas Cassadine (1996–1999, 2003–2011, 2013–2016) and Connor Bishop (2004–2005) on the ABC soap opera General Hospital.

In August 2017, it was announced that Christopher would be joining the cast of the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives as the son of long-time villains Stefano DiMera and Vivian Alamain. His tenure on the show began December 29, 2017. Christopher left the series on March 20, 2019; his role was recast with Brandon Barash.

Other TV series he appeared in were The Pretender, Charmed, Angel, Family Law, Felicity, The Division, JAG, Boomtown, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Twilight Zone, Crossing Jordan, Into the West and The Lying Game. (Wikipedia)

C’est avec une très grande tristesse que nous avons appris le 31 octobre 2023 le décès de l’acteur Christopher Tyler (1972-2023).

Un grand nombre de ses partenaires du feuilleton Hôpital Central (V.O. : General Hospital) ont publiquement réagi et partagé leur choc/leurs souvenirs. Pour cette série, dans le rôle de Nicholas Cassadine, il avait remporté un Daytime Emmy...

... mais également l'actrice Alyssa Milano qui s'est souvenue de son passage unique dans la série Charmed (Ep. 2.14):

Son ami et partenaire de jeu, auprès de qui il s'était confié en interview pour sensibiliser sur le sujet des addictions et sur l'importance de la santé mentale, Maurice Benard, lui rend le premier hommage.

L’acteur a interprété le personnage secondaire Ethan dans la série Le Caméléon (V.O. : The Pretender)... dont l'écriture du personnage illustrait une réalité méconnue de l'acteur, qui était bi-polaire ; une maladie mal diagnostiquée et mal prise en charge.

Le 10 novembre 2023, en plein deuil, la famille doit intervenir pour prévenir qu'aucune aide financière n'a été demandée, pour ses funérailles, auprès du public... attention aux arnaques... surtout au regard de la bataille judiciaire intra-familiale qu'a dû livrer l'acteur pour retrouver sa liberté juridique.

one of my ALLTIME favorite billy/kelly scenes - and tyler - ever. the acting between the 3 of them was sooo good! and it really showed just how protective jase was of sam at the core and alot of billy's protectiveness of kelly even in my opinion. plus as much as I liked nikolas better as a good guy, man tyler played evil so well. and hello rebecca in the background (mini amc reunion with her & billy lol). then of course at the end we have one of the hottest but sweetest love scenes. god I miss my supercouples! (& 2 of my favorite actors now gone </3)
