October 29, 2019

Oscar and Nico were having their usually hang out at their apartment, where they just watch a game or movie or play video games and eat a bunch of food.

Jesper always joins and most of the time Taylor, Kevin and Boqvist usually join too and sometimes Miles.

Oscar had invited Jack too, wanting Jack to get closer to the team outside of the ice too.

Oscar and Nico were in their kitchen working on some snacks and drinks when there was a knock at the door.

Nico looked at the clock and it was early for the time they had set and he knows know the boys would even be early they are always late.

“Who’s here early?” Nico looked towards Oscar for an answer.

“Could be Jack.” Oscar shrugged as he poured the bag of pretzels into a bowl and scrunching his nose in disgust at the pretzels, having always thought they are disgusting.

Nico froze and look at Oscar in surprise, Oscar never invites anyone letting Nico do it because Oscar doesn’t care who shows up. So for Oscar to personally invite someone to their apartment is extremely rare.

Nico shook his head and headed to the door and smiling as he greeted Jack.

Nico led Jack to the kitchen and he watched as Jack bounced right over to Oscar and beamed up at him and what surprised Nico was the way Oscar’s eyes soften as he looked at Jack.

“Pretzels!” Jack beamed as he saw his exact favorite snack, “Thanks Oscar.”

Oscar nodded and Nico blinked in shock again because Oscar absolutely hated pretzels and he willingly bought them for Jack?

Nico shook his head and knew he was in for a lot more surprises.

Connor quickly ran through the front door and dropped his bag off by the door and ran through the living room and towards the back door.

“Connie no running!” Melanie fondly yelled after her youngest, she knew he was just exicted to see Oscar.

“Sorry.” Connor softly yelled back and slowed down slightly, he quickly opened the door to the back yard and could hear Oscar shooting pucks at their net.

“Ozzie! Ozzie!” Connor softly yelled as he jogged down the back porch stairs and ran over to Oscar, Connor ran right into Oscar and Oscar let out an oof and gently caught his ten year old brother.

“Hi Connie, what’s up?” Oscar softly asked running a hand through Connor’s hair and gently setting his hockey stick on the ground giving his baby brother his full attention.

“I get to pick my number now!!!” Connor was grinning so wide and bouncing in excitement, he finally is old enough that he’s now allowed to pick his number for hockey.

“Really that’s awesome buddy.” Oscar fondly smiled remembering how excited he was to pick his own number.

Oscar frowned seeing Connor’s face change into his nervous look, “Hey what’s wrong Connie?” Oscar gently prodded looking at him in concern.

“Would it be okay if i chose your number?” Connor looked up with hopeful eyes, he wanted to play with the same number as his big brother.

Oscar blinked looking shocked and then his face turned even softer, “You want to play with the same number?” Oscar softy questioned looking extremely touched.

“Yeah.” Connor nodded quickly still looking very hopeful. Connor wants to be just like Oscar and playing with the same number is a dream.

“Of course you can buddy.” Oscar softly smiled and knew it was the right choice when Connor beamed extremely brightly and hugged him tightly.

“Thank you Thank you!” Connor giggled happily hugging him.

Oscar just fondly smiled hugging him back.
