MIMIKYU 

Tell me Sharna wouldn’t take one look at this thing and be in love with it. YOU CAN’T. She’d adore its mix of creepy and cute. It dresses itself up as Pikachu and resembles a plush toy, which Sharna (secretly) collects. It’d be her baby. 

HATTERENE

Hatterene is the embodiment of ‘Talk shit, get hit.’ Like. Literally. Whilst Sharna doesn’t have a problem with people expressing their emotions to/around her, she does have zero tolerance for bullshit and will respond accordingly. Bonus points for Gigantamax Hatterene because it’s called the ‘Raging Goddess’ and that’s a Sharna mood right there. 

GALARIAN RAPIDASH 

Okay so I actually had one in my Shield playthrough as Sharna and it is the MVP of the team so now I can’t see her NOT having one. It’s beautiful, graceful, fast and actually packs one hell of a physical punch despite its appearance, much like Sharna. It looks like it came straight out of a fairy-tale and Sharna has a great appreciation for those. 

GARDEVOIR 

It will literally summon up a miniature black hole to defend its Trainer. It’s 100% willing to die to protect them and honestly? That’s Sharna with the people she loves and is loyal to. 

WHIMSICOTT

It is, to be blunt, a little shit. It likes to trick people and Pokemon and otherwise prank them. Sharna is quite cheeky when it comes to people she’s close with and she’s not afraid of messing with people who’ve crossed her either. 

ALOLAN NINETALES 

Had to fit a fox in somewhere. Honestly though, Alolan Ninetales is reclusive much like Sharna and yet it is still willing to help even if it prefers to be left alone. It’s regarded as sacred to some and I thought that tied in nicely with Sharna’s task as the Keeper of Raziel’s book. (Not so much her godkilling lineage, but hey.). It’s also protective of the environment around it, tying in to Sharna’s tendency to care for injured wildlife.

The Chmerkovskiy’s (Part 10)

A year later, things were better than ever. Both relationships were steady, Maks and Peta were pregnant with their second child, and Val and Sharna had gotten their own place and started living together. All four of them had participated in the most recent seasons of Dancing with the Stars with Sharna winning for the first time in the past season.

Val was beginning to be hassled by the people around him to propose to her, but it never felt like the right time. She was special and their relationship was special, so everything needed to be special for their proposal. It was after Sasha and Emma’s wedding that he got the perfect idea but before he could execute it, he just needed a little help.

Over the course of the next few weeks, he asked each of their friends if they would want to be part of his proposal to Sharna, and of course each and every one of them jumped at the opportunity. He started putting together an elaborate plan and then instructed each of their friends what they would be doing for the proposal.

It was a Saturday Morning and Sharna woke up to the light streaming in the windows. She felt next to her without looking so she could hug him but all she felt was empty space.

“Val?!” She called out groggily.

He came out of the bathroom dressed in jeans and a lavender button down shirt, “Good Morning, Sleepy.” He bent over to give her a kiss on the cheek, but she turned her head right in time and pressed her lips to his. She rolled over so she was now on her back and looked up at him as she stretched, “Where are you going? You’re dressed so nice.”

“Work meeting. Hopefully it turns out successful. Are you saying I don’t always dress nice?” He grinned as he let out a chuckle.

She smiled, “Oh babe, you always look Hot! You know that.”

Val walked over to the dresser and put his watch on, along with the necklace she gave him for their two month anniversary, which now seemed like a lifetime ago. He walked back over to her and kissed her again, “Ok. I’m out of here.”

“What time will you be home?”

“Um not sure yet, depends on how this meeting goes. But I’ll see you soon.”

“K, babe. Love you.”

“Love you too.”

About a half hour later after prolonging getting out of bed, Sharna got up and began her day. Her put on a load of laundry, cleaned up their room, cleaned the kitchen, when grocery shopping, got her nails done and then made her way back to the apartment. Once there she sat down to watch and episode of Say Yes to the Dress. It was on as a marathon so she just left it running, but after two episodes at the start of the third she got a call from Peta.

“Hey, P!”

“Hey Girlie. What’s up?”

“Nothing, just watching Say Yes to the Dress.”

“Oo best show! Have you checked instagram lately?”

“Um, No! Why what’s up?” “Check it!”

“P?” But before she could say another word, Peta had hung up. She opened instagram and saw the first photo that popped up in her feed, It was from Maks’ account but it was a picture of Woo with Sasha and Larissa. Woo was holding a picture of Sharna as a baby and Larissa was holding a picture of Val as a baby. The caption said, “Their little ones.”

Sharna was confused and didn’t know what to think. Why would Maks post a picture like that? She liked it anyway and continued scrolling. Next, was a picture from Peta’s account. It was a picture of Shai in a tuxedo, smiling right at the camera, with the caption, “and so it begins.”

Sharna smiled, seeing her nephew. He always brought a smile to her face. She liked it and then scrolled again. With each photo she became more and more confused. Something was happening and they were all related, she just didn’t know how. She kept scrolling through the black and white photos, the message becoming clearer and clearer through each picture. Sasha and Emma were holding  a piece of lace, Lindsay and Witney were holding a bouquet of flowers, Artem and Tony were icing a cake, Keo and Gleb were tying each others bowties and last were Hayley and Alan jumping in the air in front of the DWTS Ballroom. Each of the photos caption were designated a number, except for Hayley and Alan’s which said, “I think you may get the hint, but come find me here to see what this is all about.”

Sharna gasped and aid to herself, “Oh my god.”

Impulsively, she grabbed her keys off of the end table, grabbed her bag off the couch and got to her car as fast as she could. She drove to the studio anxiously, and not uncommon to LA sat in a ton of traffic. She started to become impatient, as she hit the steering wheel, “Come on!!”

Val stood in the ballroom walking around rehearsing what he was going to say. All of his fellow cast members and friends were up in the skybox. Maks and Peta were on the ground level in the corner watching him as they sat in the corner of the room with Shai in their laps. Maks turned to his wife, “He’s panicking.”

“How do you know?”

“I know my brother.”

Val turned to face them from the center of the room, “You know I can hear you right?” Maks smiled and shrugged, “It’s true.”

Val continued pacing, “Where is she? She should have been here by now.”

“I’m sure she’s on her way.” Hayley called from above.

“Was the clue ok? Does she know where I am?” Alan then called down, “Val, that clue couldn’t have been anymore obvious.”

The minutes passed and everyone was quiet wondering where Sharna was. They all started to get fidgeting, and it was noticeable. Maks checked his watch and looked at Peta.

After a few more minutes Val put his head down and then looked up, his back turned towards the door. “Ok, Guys. I guess she’s not coming.”

Everyone just looked back at him not saying anything. “What?” He said back, but then he heard her voice, “I’m here.”

He turned around and got filled up. She was standing in the doorway of the ballroom. She dropped everything to the floor and took a deep breath. “I’m here.” She started walking towards him slowly, and he felt himself get weak. He took a deep breath as she approached and took both of her hands. “Hi.” He said lightly.

“Hi.” She smiled.

“You know what’s going on?” Val asked her.

“I think?” She questioned.

He separated his hands from hers, “I’m going to finish, ok?”

Sharna nodded as he backed away from her and started talking. He moved to the far right corner of the dancing floor, “Here. Is where you were standing the first time I ever laid eyes on you.” He then moved to the left corner, “And here is  where we were the first time we ever had a conversation.” She smiled as he continued. He then ran up to the skybox and stood in between their friends, “And here. Is where I stand and where I stood every monday whenever you perform with your partner.” Val pointed to the stage where they usually received results, “There is where we started our very first dance with each-other.” He then ran back down the stairs and to the opposite end of the dancefloor, “This is where we stood as we watched Nick and Tamar dance, when we didn’t even know we loved each other yet.” He then crossed the floor, “and this is where I stood when I watched you get your amazing score on your quickstep with James right before I ran to meet you in the center and you jumped into my arms. I think that was the first time I acknowledged that there might have been feelings there for you.” Val walked to the center of the floor and took her hands again, “So many of my best memories have taken place in here. But all of my best memories, you’re apart of. I can’t think of a time I have been happier than when I’m with you. Even when we had our moments, I knew that nothing could ever ruin what I had with you and how I felt.”

“Val.” She whispered.

“Sharna, when I look at you I see the future. I see us with kids, dancing till we can’t anymore. That’s our future. I’ve waited long enough to ask you out of fear of it not being special, but now I know that any moment we share together is special. So, I’m not going to wait anymore. Sharna. Mae. Burgess. I love you more than I have ever loved anyone in this world and I can’t imagine a future where I don’t love you. I want to love you for the rest of my life, and spend everyday making sure you know that I do. You are my past, my present and my future and I want to make you mine.”

Sharna gasped and covered her mouth as Val lowered himself to one knee. He pulled out a black velvet box. She started crying and fanned herself to try and get a grip. He smiled watching her, as he opened the box and revealed the Neil Lane engagement ring.

“Oh my god.” She muttered as she wiped the tears from under her eyes.

“Sharna-”

“Yes.”

“You didn’t let me ask yet?”

“Ask! Ask!”

He laughed, “Will you Marry Me and make me the happiest man alive?”

“Yes!”

He got to his feet and crashed into her, kissing her. He could feel her tears as their cheek touched. He rested his forehead against hers, and looked into her eyes, “I love you.”

“I love you too. Thank you.” She whispered.

Val stepped back from her and took her left hand, he took the ring out of the box and slipped it on her finger, “Oh my god.” She gasped. “I’m engaged.” She pulled him in for a hug and he called out into the open air. “Alright, Everyone!! Come on!!” He waved his hand.

Maks and Peta got to them first. Maks hugged his brother and Peta hugged Sharna before they switched. The rest of the cast followed closely after. Exchanging hugs. All the girls huddled around Sharna looking at the ring. Witney called out, “Good Job, Val!!”

All the guys laughed as Val answered, “Well, I try.” He said sarcastically.

As the excitement settled down, they all decided to go out for an engagement dinner. On the way there, Peta pulled out her phone. She opened instagram and created a new post, she selected a special photo from her camera roll. She had been taking pictures throughout the whole proposal but had captured the two most perfect moments. Him down on one knee as she had her hands covering her mouth, and their first kiss after the engagement. She attached them together and then began writing the caption, “Love these two with all my heart and THEY’RE ENGAGED. Sharna and Val, you’re love is incredible and I’m so happy I was able to be part of and see something so special unfold since you’re first kiss at my wedding. Conjecturing about celebs' schedules, DWTS voting shenans, etc. are pointless at this point (pun alert) buuutttt...I don't trust the new showrunners, based on their very casting of I, Tonya. IMO tptb are pushing for her to be in the finals. So IF that happens y'all let's hope that Jenna stans and Sharna stans can reach a truce, if their fave doesn't make the finals (God forbid), and join forces to vote for the remaining pro (Shar or Jen) and AGAINST I, Tonya. Plz DO NOT let T win the MBT!! TY!

Trouble

I’ve probably written like 14 fics I’ve called “Trouble,” but oh well. It was the best title I could come up with. And it’s part 2 of Something Really Stupid. Oh boy!!! 

Sharna could feel herself starting to wake up and she sunk deeper into the extremely comfortable bed as she fought to keep her eyes closed. She could feel sun streaming through the open curtains and she blinked awake regretfully. Her whole body felt exhausted after so many days of travel and excitement and fun.

Her first clear thought as she opened her eyes fully was that she couldn’t figure out how the bed in the room she was staying in managed to switch sides. Wasn’t the window on her right side yesterday morning? Why was it on the left now? And then she realized that this must not be her own room and she wondered whose room she was in.

And then she remembered everything.

Spending the day with him. Laughing more than she had in many months. Trying not to get distracted by his eyes and his smile. Realizing that, though it was undoubtedly a mistake, this was something she wanted right now. Talking to Peta and to Jenna. And going back to him and whispering in his ear, hoping he felt it too and she wasn’t making a compete fool of herself.

“Do you want to go back to my room for a while? I mean, it’s just so hot and loud out here. I just thought we could…” She faltered, panicking slightly.

“Hang out?” Alan suggested.

“Yeah. Just… hang out.”

He stared at her for a moment, apparently trying to figure out what to say next. She wondered if he understood more than he was letting on. Sharna could feel Peta and Jenna watching her. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Val walk up to them. Crap. They needed to get out of here.

“I’m staying closer,” Alan said, as though reading her mind. “At that other hotel. We could go there. It would only take a few -.”

“That’s fine,” she said, standing up quickly, reaching out to take his hand, then thinking better of it. “Let’s go. This way.” She gathered all her belongings haphazardly in her arms and walked the long way around the pool, away from Peta, Jenna, and Val. Alan followed her.

Once they found the exit and were away from everyone else, he stopped her.

“Wait. Just for a second.” He lowered his voice and looked in her eyes. “Are you okay?”

“I’m good,” she said honestly. “I’m great. Today… Today has been… And I just… I want…” She couldn’t say it out loud. She felt shy and nervous, which she didn’t like. But he gave her a very soft smile, just for a moment.

“Are you sure?” he whispered. And she knew he wasn’t asking again if she was okay. She nodded, not trusting herself to speak. He took her hand. “Come on, then.”

Now, as Sharna was slowly waking up, she couldn’t identify the emotions washing over her. It wasn’t shame or regret. She knew that much. She wasn’t sorry about it. She had wanted it to happen, so she didn’t regret it. But it wasn’t overwhelming joy she was feeling either. She knew they probably shouldn’t have done it. And it didn’t exactly make her feel less lonely. But she did feel something like contentment. A little bit of happiness and a lot of exhaustion. All of this hit her at once as the bathroom door opened and Alan walked out. He had a towel wrapped around his waist and was moving slowly and carefully, as though afraid of waking her up. 

“Hey,” she said softly. She kept her voice even, but he still jumped as she startled him. “Sorry.”

“I thought you were still asleep,” he said, tucking his towel around himself more securely. “I didn’t wake you up, did I? I tried to be quiet.”

“No. I just woke up a minute ago.” She watched him as he stood completely still, looking incredibly shy and awkward. For some reason, this made her smile. “You okay over there?”

He moved suddenly, realizing he had been standing frozen to the spot. He moved over to his suitcase, looking for a shirt. She noticed that he took a wide path around the bed.

“Fine,” he said shortly when his back was to her. “Are - are you okay?”

She sighed. She could see that she would have to be the one to make them talk about this. That was fine with her, but she was worried that he was feeling regret now. She sat up. 

“Can you come over and sit by me?” she asked him, smiling as he spun around to face her, a shirt in his hand. “Or do I have cooties now?”

He was still for a moment, then he dropped his shirt on the floor and stepped toward the bed. He sat down, but seemed afraid to meet her eyes. 

“So,” he said quietly. “Are you okay?” 

“You already asked me that,” Sharna pointed out, tying not to smile again. “Hey.” She reached out and put her hand on his. He looked up at her. “Are you sorry it happened?” she said very gently. 

“No,” he replied at once, shaking his head. “No. Absolutely not. I mean, it was… You are… No. I’m - I’m glad it happened.” 

“Glad?” Sharna repeated, holding in her laughter as she watched him struggle. 

“You know what I mean.” He flipped his hand over and laced his fingers through hers. “It was… good.” 

“Good?” she said, wrinkling her nose. “Then maybe I didn’t do it right.” 

Finally, he smiled. This broke the tension between them. “Trust me,” he told her, running his free hand through his wet hair. “You, uh… you did it right.” 

She giggled. She couldn’t help herself. “Yeah? Well, at the risk of making this even more awkward, let me tell you… You did it right, too. I mean… Wow.” 

“Alright,” Alan said loudly. “Getting awkward.” 

She laughed again, but her grin quickly faded. “So,” she said, adopting an almost formal tone. “It happened, we don’t regret it, we’re not sorry it happened, and next time…” Her voice trailed off. 

“Next time?” he said curiously. 

“I didn’t mean that,” she said at once, blushing. “I just meant that if there’s a next time. Like if we end up… here again. Together…” 

“We talk about it,” he said, helping her out. “If we think we want this to happen again, we talk. But right now?” 

“Right now?” Sharna was quiet for a moment. That was a good question. What now? “Well, I guess right now we’re friends who just, well…” She gestured to the messy pile of sheets. “And in a couple hours we have a plane to catch back to the real world." 

"So." Alan reached up and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "We'll be alright?" 

She smiled. "Yeah. We're going to be just fine. If I was going to be part of a cliche post-wedding hook up,” she said with the most casual shrug she could manage, “I'm glad it was with you." 

"My pleasure," he said with a laugh. "You better get in the shower," he added, checking the time. "We need to leave in like half an hour." 

She climbed out of the bed, slightly relieved to realize that she was wearing a long shirt that she must have put on at some point last night. But as she stepped toward the bathroom, Alan reached out and took her hand again. 

"Is it weird if I say thank you?" he asked her a little breathlessly. 

"Thank you is fine. It's only weird if you pay me." 

He laughed loudly. But when he stood up and met her eyes, his expression was calm. "Well, thank you, then. I know it was just kind of... for fun. Wait. I don’t mean... Well, you know what I mean. But you... you are really special to me and I'm... It was nice." 

She wasn't sure what made her do it and she wasn't sure it was even the right thing to do, but she stood up on her toes and kissed him softly. She felt his fingertips, gentle at her waist but pulling her closer to him. She could feel the muscles in his back as she moved her hands over his warm skin. 

"Half an hour," he mumbled against her lips. 

"Right." She stepped back from him, her heart beating fast. "Right. I'll be quick." 

She hurried into the bathroom, shutting the door behind her. She quickly turned on the shower, but then she fell back against the wall, dropping her head into her hands. 

“Oh, I'm in trouble," she whispered to herself. "So much trouble." 

But she couldn't help it. Suddenly she felt elated and almost giddy with happiness. She knew it should only be a one time thing and she knew it probably shouldn't happen again, but it felt so good to be wanted and needed. It felt good to be so close to someone. And she wanted it again.

Dwts is and has always been watched predominately by middle class white women. Bonner will stay as long as he look sexy and appears to be sexy with Sharna. Those women love that stuff. Heather didn't interact on social media nor give into showing people her daily life. She needed those fans to vote for her. Her fans probably split there vote between Heather and Normani or Simone. All 3 women have the same fans age demographic 13-25. That age will vote but they have to be consistent every week.

Oh trust me I know middle aged white women are the people who watch this show. I know that as long as nick and Bronner stay looking pretty and act ‘sexy’ they aren’t going nowhere even though they are stiff and continue to ignore the judges advice. But the judges, mainly Carrie Ann and Len are my biggest problem. They will literally give these white males a 8 for tying their shoes because 'aww he tried.’ But the women are out here doing flips, splits, and being thrown in the air and the judges 'well the flip was a little off, you get a 7’ like what in the actual world??? And last night team girl group danced better than team boy band and Carrie Ann and Len both said that the boys danced better even though they just humped the chairs. Hell no. They were at the bottom of the leader. Heather deserved better. And this show is wack.

For Salem it really is about its anger. This Pokemon is near unstoppable on a rampage and it’s incredibly powerful and destructive when it unleashes all its got. Much like Salem.

LYCANROC (MIDNIGHT)

The twins share an affinity for Canids and when it comes to Lycanroc, the Midnight form fits Salem. It’s hot-blooded and reckless, always ready and willing to charge into a conflict head-on.

GARDEVOIR

A Pokemon highly in-tune to the emotions of those around it, it’s fitting for the twin who trusts his heart and emotions over his head and rationality. It is deeply loyal and protective of its Trainer and those close to them - again like Salem - to a devastating level— it can create and control black holes in an attempt to get rid of those threatening its Trainer. Once again fitting, since there is no length Salem won’t go to to keep others safe. 

AEGISLASH

Salem is a natural-born leader and these Pokemon can detect those with such qualities due to their past history of serving monarchs and other rulers. Plus, it’s a possessed sword and shield... pretty apt for a monster hunter. 

MEGANIUM

A Pokemon that can soothe anger and other negative emotions with the aromas it gives off, it’d be extremely beneficial to Salem in an attempt to quell his temper. Just being around it would help him stay in control of himself. 

NINETALES

Much like Sharna, I associate Salem with foxes and Ninetales as the best pick for Salem. The Hikari twins have a lot of virtues and flaws, and in both of them pride and grudge-holding are prevalent. Tying with Salem’s anger, the Pokemon known for cursing those that cross it alongside generations of their family is... fitting. It doesn’t simply forgive and forget, it retaliates and it takes a great deal to calm its ire down the line.

To start us off, like a large portion of the cast this season, especially the males, I have no clue who this person is. Apparently he’s a bull rider and model? Because those two things are commonly associated with each other… Anyway, he looks 12 but apparently is almost thirty. Now, if you remember back to season 8, rodeo cowboy Ty Murray (ex-hubbie of singer Jewel, though they were still married at the time) managed to get to fourth place with Chelsie Hightower. Now I won’t take anything away from Ty, but the competition wasn’t incredibly stiff that year outside of the top 3. That being said, it is possible this Bonnor guy (raise your hand if you’ve ever heard that name before. Me either) could turn out to be the next James Hinchcliffe and shock us all (shoutout to James. We love and adore and miss the hell out of you and Shar. #GetMarried). But I doubt it. My expectations are low. Moving on.

RASHAD JENNINGS with pro partner EMMA SLATER:

Please welcome the latest inductee into the Pro Athletes I’ve Never Heard Of Because They Are In Fact Athletes Club! His bio says he’s a running back in the NFL. Sigh. Yes, I know this one too. First of all, let me say welcome back Peta. We’ve missed you and couldn’t be happier to see you back on our screens. However, I’d rather see her with damn near anyone else but this guy. Am I watching this season of the Bachelor? Hell no, and Nick is the reason why. I didn’t watch his seasons of The Bachelorette- I actually have only seen a handful of seasons, but I’m aware of what’s gone on. And I’m opposed to him being the Bachelor for two reasons: #1. It should’ve been Luke. And #2. He’s a dick. Go ahead and try to convince me otherwise. I’m waiting. He won’t be great, and hopefully he won’t be around long. Sorry Nick, yet again you’ll be sent home with only your hand to console you. BUH-BYE NOW.

The Girls

SIMONE BILES with pro partner SASHA FARBER:

Another sigh. Am I excited she’s on the cast? Yes. Will she do well? Pointless to even answer. Am I excited to see the routines she does and how epic her partnership with Sasha will be? Of course. But I’m 95% sure she won’t win and here’s why: it’s also why I’m upset she’s on this season: they can’t and won’t have two identical winners directly next to each other. Simone isn’t even just a gymnast like Laurie, she was literally on the same team and is damn near a carbon copy. Is that a bad thing in life? Hell no. She’s tiny, adorable, and too precious for planet Earth. Make no mistake, I’m in love with the girl. But Simone winning would be almost an exact repeat of last season, which I do not think TPTB (sorry, I mean “the public voters” O.O) will allow. This is why when directly after the Olympics Simone said she couldn’t do the fall season of the show because of other commitments but would love to do the spring season, I was concerned when they announced Laurie. It’s like when Riker Lynch competed and his sister Rydel (shoutout to R5 for being fucking rockstars. Also, #TeamRallison you are missed) said she’s wanted to do the show for a long time, I said even if her schedule worked out it would have to be several seasons before she competed because having siblings back to back is too similar. So really it’s unfair to Simone and unfair to Sasha as well that she’s competing this season, because it’s an almost guarantee she won’t win despite the fact that we know she’ll be one of the best on the floor. Will she make it to the finale? Of course. But I sincerely doubt she has a real shot at getting the mirrorball.

CHARO with pro partner KEO MOTSEPE:

Okay. I get it. With a lot of the male vets being gone, it makes sense that Keo would get another shot as a pro. Plus, in this scenario whether or not he’s a great teacher doesn’t really matter. Do I know who this woman is? Yes. And…I don’t think I need or want to say much more. Godspeed.

ERIKA JAYNE with pro partner GLEB SAVCHENKO:

The Housewives is actually one of the few reality shows I don’t watch, primarily because I simply don’t have the time. So I have no clue who this woman is. I have a feeling she’ll be similar to Kim Zolciak, who I also did not know during her run in season 21 but quickly fell in love with and still follow on social media to this day. So who knows? I’m open to it and wish her well.

NANCY KERRIGAN with pro partner ARTEM CHIGVINTSEV:

Nope. Don’t know her either. But I remember when poor Dorothy Hamill, another former Olympic skater, back in season 16 was tragically forced to drop out of the competition in week 2 due to injury. Dorothy’s first performance was epic though, and she and Nancy seem somewhat similar in build, so… perhaps this could work well. If nothing else, we know the Olympians know how to train. Again, I wish her luck. Let’s see how this goes.

NORMANI KORDEI with pro partner VAL CHMERKOVSKIY:

I will be honest: of all the members of Fifth Harmony, Normani is not my favorite. She’s actually 4/5 for me, and yes, I still count Camilla. But I’m open to new things. She seems cool. And just because she isn’t my favorite member of Fifth Harmony doesn’t mean I don’t like her, she’s just not my fave. I’m excited to get to know and love her. I think she’ll be great. I look forward to seeing her partnership with Val. I’m good with this.

The Troupe and Missing Pros

Again, sorry to see Mark absent, but he’s moved on and seems happy so good for him. I’ll miss Allison like hell and wish both her and Jenna well in whatever they’re doing next and hope to see them return at some point. MIDDLE OF THE ROAD/AT LEAST YOU TRIED: Nick, possibly David, Nancy, Rashad, possibly Erika (she could go lower. We’ll see if she’s more Nene or Kim).

GOING ALL THE WAY/LOVE ON TOP OF THE LEADERBOARD: Normani, Simone, Heather. Final 3, I’m calling it now. Unless they end up shocking us and letting Simone have it, I’m gonna predict Heather takes the mirrorball, Simone gets second, and Normani lands bronze. I know Amber Riley won back in season 17 and Heather winning would be the second Glee star to win, but I don’t think that matters as much as two Olympians from the same team winning back to back. That’s my prediction as of now.

I’ll be on vacation in DISNEY WORLD (yessir, let’s go Mickey) for the premiere but I will of course check out the routines online that night. I’m coming home Tuesday so within the next day or so I’ll watch the whole show and either write up something for this blog or toss out some tweets. Keep an eye out.

And that’s it! Season 24, it’s on. I thought for quite a while over the break that last season was season 24, so there you go. Big shock, I have no idea what’s going on. What else is new?

Dive*2*

*Hey everyone so here is the second part of *Dive*, I hope you enjoy it was much as I did! This is quite a long chapter over 5,000 words!!!*                     ~ So don't call me baby Unless you mean it Don't tell me you need me If you don't believe it So let me know the truth Before I dive right into you ~ Thirty minutes later Val drove down a driveway that led to this beautiful house, Sharna was shocked for a moment "Val is this the house we are staying in?" Val smiled up at her nodding yes "Yea this it." "You've got to be joking me!" Val shook his head no "Nope not joking." Sharna let out of squeal jumping out of the car slamming the door behind her. Val laughed at her excitement before getting out of the car and popping open the trunk to grab their bags. He grabbed both of them while walking up the porch where Sharna was standing waiting for him.            "Val this is insane!" Val just nodded while he got the house key opening up the front door. Sharna ran inside gasping at how beautifully everything was decorated an the high ceiling's and beautiful huge window that look out onto the lake.              Sharna walked over to the window admiring the view that they had for the next week, she took some photos. "So Princess tell me, is there anything you want to do first?" Sharna turned around seeing Val walking towards her. "Let's go swimming!" She said before running to get her suitcase, she opened it up quickly grabbing her black bikini.                "I'll be right back, you better be dressed by the time I finish dressing." She yelled as she ran into the first bathroom she could find.           Val laughed going over to his suitcase grabbing his black swim trunks throwing them on quickly while he ran into the opposite bathroom grabbing two towels and also walking into the kitchen where the key to boat was sitting at. He quickly grabbed it just as Sharna ran out of the bathroom.               "Val come on!" Sharna said standing in the kitchen I just her bathing suit "Wow" Val said as He noticed Sharna "Do you like it?" Sharna questioned before adding "You never knew if you'll meet a cowboy who can sweep you off of your feet." She said turning on the heels of her feet, opening the door that led to the back porch which was huge.              Val became a little jealous when Sharna mentioned meeting a cowboy that could easily sweep her off of her feet.           He walked out after Sharna did with the towels in his hand Sharna was standing on the dock that had the boat, Sharna heard the door close so she turned around.             "Val is this ours for the week?" She questioned Val nodded yes, Sharna started jumping up and down "Val this is seriously so amazing!" She said running over to him jumping into his arms making him drop the towels.          Sharna buried her head into his neck "I'm glad you think it's amazing." He said rubbing her back gently as she kissed his cheek sweetly "Do you have the keys for the boat?" She asked, he nodded yes showing her the keys "I can't wait!" She said as she ran down towards the boat, as she waited for Val.               Val helped Sharna get on to the boat before he got in and started it up as Sharna watched as the pulled away from their dock. As the drove down a little ways finding the perfect place to sit and float while they swam. Sharna was sitting on the seat enjoying the trees and the sun.             "Goodness Val it's so beautiful here." She said as Val walked up behind her wrapping his arms around her shoulders as he kissed her forehead "It is really beautiful here isn't it." Sharna nodded leaning her head back into Val's chest.             "Although I believe it's time to go for a swim." Val said picking up Sharna tossing her over the side of the boat, "Val No!!!" She said as he tossed her over the side as she was submerged under the chilly water.         She came back up smiling "Rude!" She shouted laughing at him as he jumped off the back of the boat and into the water.              She swam over to him as he came back up from under the water, she pushed on his shoulders pushing him back under the water. He came back up splashing a bunch of water onto her. "V..." she said giggling as he began to tickle her under the water making her kick her legs in protest.              Val eventually let her go, then the two of them floated around on the water for what felt like hours but really it was only a few minutes. "Val I can't thank you enough for all of this." Sharna said swimming around in the water "Sharna it was nothing you deserve the best. I'm just glad your enjoying yourself." Sharna smiled at Val from where she was swimming. "I am V, thank you."                Two hours later Val pulled the boat back over to the dock tying it the the dock, he then helped Sharna out of the boat. He watched her run towards the house, he figured she was going to take a shower. He grabbed his towel before jumping out of the boat as well, by the time he made it into the house. He heard one shower running indicating that Sharna was in fact taking a shower. So he decided to do the same, it was already six o'clock at maybe they could go out for dinner tonight and also shop for food since they had none in the house as on now.                 Soon enough he was out of the shower drying off before he grabbed a pair of blue jeans and a black t shirt. He then walked back down into living room area where he noticed that Sharna was passed out on the couch. Maybe they wouldn't go out tonight, he could just order in some pizza. So that's just what he did while Sharna slept. Val woke up Sharna once the pizza arrived, "Babe... Shar... there's pizza here." He said shaking her gently until he stood staring into her blue blue eyes. She rubbed at her eyes while sitting up "hmm" she opened her eyes again this time noticing the pizza "Pizza, thank God I was starving!" She said grabbing a piece from the box and talking a bite out of it. "Thanks V" she said as she leaned against his shoulder while she continued to eat. "Your welcome Shar." They decided that they wanted to watch a movie so the found the notebook, Sharna ended up crying but the notebook just made people do that. It was impossible to watch it without crying. Sharna fell asleep though about ten minutes before the movie ended, Val turned off the tv before gently picking her up and carrying her into the room she was staying at. Around two am Sharna woke up not realizing the room she was in or where she was at, so she tipped toed down the hall until she found val sleeping. She opened the door and crawled into bed with him, he woke up feeling that someone was there with him. "Sharna? What are you doing?" Sharna looked up at him "I'm sorry I woke up and couldn't remember where I was and then I seen you and I knew I wouldn't be able to fall back asleep and so I figured you wouldn't mind if I slept with you." Val nodded "I don't mind" he said opening his arms up letting her bury herself into his warmth. "Thank you Val." Val brought her even closer to him as he kissed her forehead "Goodnight princess, love you." "I love you too V" she said as she drifted back off into her dreams. The next two days were so much fun filled with music, laughter, love and friendship. Today Val decided that he was taking Sharna to Dollywood. He was waiting out on the porch for her to get ready, ten minutes later Sharna appeared on the porch in a white lace dress and brown sandals. "Val I think boots would go much better with this dress. Don't you think?" She asked as she did a twirl for him, "I think you look beautiful already, but if you want boots we will find boots?" He said standing up walking towards her "Yay, thank you Val!" She said hugging him tightly "Anything for you darling." Sharna turned around with a huge smile upon her lips "Val is the country making you country?" She questioned "I suppose so... darlin' " Sharna smiled leaning up kissing his cheek. As she walked in front of him out the front door and straight to the car as they headed to find her a pair of cowgirl boots. Val found a boot shop that was only fifteen minutes away from Dollywood, so that's where he took Sharna to get her first official pair of cowgirl boots. They where in the shop about thirty minutes when Sharna finally found the pair she wanted, they were just plain brown boots that had little embellishments above a bunch of brown fringe. "These are the ones." She said holding them up for Val to see "I really like those Shar." He said taking the boots and started walking up towards the front desk "Wait Val you need a pair too." Val turned around to look at Sharna "Babe you and I both now that I don't need boots." "Yes you do come on." She said grabbing Val's hands dragging him over to the men side of the store. Ten minutes later Val found a black pair that were plain that he decided would work for today, he was only doing this because he loves Sharna so much. Sighing he grabbed both boxes "Your lucky I Love You." He said walking behind Sharna to the front register where they paid for their boots. They then made their way to Dollywood , where the had one of the greatest days her just walking around. Everyone they met there was just so kind, they rode all of the rides and even went to one of the sit down shows where Dolly herself actually came out to sing a few songs.                They eat popcorn and drank milkshakes and just felt like little kids again! It was truly an amazing day that they would both cherish forever.           As they walked out to their car, Sharna just danced and sang acting as if she was five "Val this was truly the best day ever!" She said as she skipped to the car, "It was quite a good day wasn't it?" "Yes it was magical!" "I'm glad babe." Val said as he unlocked the doors and they both got in.         It was now Thursday and counting today they had three days left to enjoy the kindness and beauty of Nashville. Val decided that tonight they where going to go to a bar and enjoy themselves. So after spending the day on the boat and lake that's exactly where he took Sharna to. "Val why are here?" Sharna asked as Val held opened the door to the bar "To enjoy ourselves babe." "Okay" Sharna said as she walked into a packed bar.             Val brought Sharna back her second strawberry margarita as he still held his first beer. "Thanks V" she said as she drank some of the margarita before she stood up and started dancing to the music by herself. "V come dance with me!" Sharna shouted over the music "Not right now." He shouted back to her, she ignored his answer and kept dancing by herself.            A few minutes later Val seen a guy in a cowboy hat walk over to Sharna. He figured he was flirting with her, because next thing he knew they were dancing together and grinding their hips into one other. Val's jealousy grew as he watched the two of them dance swaying together. He quickly handed the bartender money for the drinks her and Sharna bought.          He turned back around swarmed by a dozens of people dancing and singing, he looked for Sharna but couldn't seem to find her which he thought would be impossible I'm mean she had bright red hair.          Finally he found her in a corner making out with that guy, he was fuming how could she does this to him. He noticed that the guys hands kept getting lower until he gripped onto Sharna's ass.              He walked over to them pulling Sharna away from him "What do you think by our doing?" "Val stop!" Sharna yelled standing between to the men so there wouldn't be a fight. "Sharna move... please!" "No Val!" "Dude what's your problem!" The guy yelled at Val "She's not yours!" Val yelled back shocking Sharna for a moment.                "She's single dude!" "Yea she is but that still doesn't mean you grab all up on her and make out with her in a very public place!" He yelled back as Sharna turned to the guy she was just making out with "I'm sorry, thanks for the dance." She said gripping onto Val's hand pulling him out of them. She walked them to their car ,had Val unlock the doors. Once everyone was settled she turned to him "Val what was that?"               Val didn't say anything for a moment "I honestly don't know." He said looking down at the steering wheel, "Val you told me, you where bringing me here to have a good time. I asked you to danced and you told me no. So when the nice guy asked me to go I dance I did. And it was only a few kisses Val calm down!"                 "I know Sharna, I'm sorry. I just got angry seeing you with another guy dancing, more like grinding on one another. And then you two making out and him grabbing your ass. Come on, babe we both know that wasn't you in there!" Val said finally looking at Sharna who was looking down at her hands.               The whole way back to their house in Nashville neither of them spoke, when they arrived they told one another goodnight before departing to their rooms.               Val couldn't sleep though it was three am he knew Sharna wouldn't be awake, so he threw on his black hoodie before walking into the hallway. He walked passed Sharna's room to notice her door wide open, he looked in not noticing her.            He walked downstairs and didn't see any light, he walked over to the huge window and noticed her sitting on their small dock. He noticed she didn't have a coat on. So he grabbed a small blanket before opening the sliding door that led onto the porch. He slowly and quietly walked down onto the dock, he gently laid wrapped the blanket around Sharna.                She smiled up at him "Val what are you doing? It's like three o'clock in the morning?" She asked as he sat down next to her. "I couldn't sleep" he said watching as she bite her nail while kicking her legs that hung off of the dock. "Why couldn't you sleep?" She asked looking over at him "I never apologized for what happened earlier, maybe that's why I couldn't sleep."             "Val that was our first fight ever." Sharna said looking down into the water "I know, I'm so sorry Sharna. I let it get out of hand." He said looking towards her as she pulled the blanket around her tighter. Sharna looked over at Val "I'm sorry too, I should have never let that guy touch me and kiss me. I know you were only trying to protect me. Forgive me." Val laughed holding his arms open as Sharna moved closer to him.             "I'll forgive you if you forgive me" he said as he kissed her forehead gently before she laid her head on his shoulder. "You got a deal babe." Sharna said giggling into his shoulder "Love you V" "Love you too Shar." They sat like that for minutes until they saw lighting that light up the sky and a crack of thunder.            "We should probably go in before it starts to rain." Val said standing up pulling Sharna up with him, just as Sharna was steady on her feet it started to pour down with rain. Sharna took off for the house before she heard Val yelling for her.                "Sharna!" She turned around trying to spot him in the pouring rain "What Val?" She shouted back to him as the rain pelted the ground "Dance with me." He yelled again "Val are you crazy it's three am and pouring down rain and you want me to dance with you !?!"            "Yes dance with, I know I didn't get the chance when you asked me earlier tonight. So please dance with me in the rain in Nashville. You may only ever get once chance to do this!" Val yelled back to her as another crack of thunder and lightning bounced across the sky.              Sharna ran back down to their dock where she found a soaking wet Val "Your crazy!" She said smiling and laughing "I know I'm crazy but will you join me for a dance in the rain in the middle of Nashville, Sharna May?" Sharna laughed walking into Val's arms "I would love to V." She said as Val spun them around dancing in the dock, he dipped Sharna kissing her cheek making her rust with giggles.             Val brought her back up from their dip planting a kiss on her forehead as they kept their foreheads touching as they swayed. "Thank you so much for this dance Val." Sharna said leaning her head into his shoulder "I would do this again in a heartbeat Sharna May. I will always dance with you in the rain."          She leaned up kissing his cheek just as an extremely bright flash of lightning flashed across the sky and a very loud crack of thunder.  "Let's get back to the house!" Val said picking up Sharna carrying her up the back yard onto the porch and into the house.        They laughed as the finally made it out of the rain, Val ran to the bathroom to grab him and Sharna towels. He took one back to Sharna as they both stripped of their clothing.                  Which left them only in their undergarments, Sharna fired herself off quickly before running up the stairs and changing out of her wet underwear and bra. Val did the same but the both came back down into the kitchen to get a drink of water.            Val smiled across to Sharna as she poured herself a cup "Maybe we should just sleep on the couch?" Sharna smiled walking over into the living room "I like that idea, and maybe you could make a fire?"        Val laughed "Sounds like plan" he said grabbing some of the wood the home owners kept by the fire plan with some matches and quickly started a fire while Sharna went to find some blankets.              Sharna quickly found them two blankets that would keep them warm, val was already laying down on the couch when she brought back the blankets. "Blankets?" She questioned sensing that he was already pretty comfy. "How about you lay down first and then I'll throw on of the blankets over us?" Sharna smiled nodding yes.               Sharna laid down on top of Val's body while laying her head on his chest listen to his heartbeat. Val picked up one of the blankets throwing it across them so it covered both of their bodies. Sharna yawned as sleep was near, Val gently rubbed her back in circles as she started to drift off into sleep.             "Goodnight Princess" Val said running his fingers through her hair "I love you" he said pressing a kiss against the top of her head before he closed his eyes and invited sleep to take over.              Sharna woke up first then next morning around nine am, she yawned as she stood up off of val lying the blanket back on top of him gently. She leaned down pressing a kiss into his forehead before walking quickly into the bathroom using it, before brushing her teeth and hair pulling it into a top knot. She then decided to make the rest of the pancake mix as she cut up some fruit to eat.                  She could come to terms that told was her and Val's last full day together here in Nashville before going back to work in New York and LA. Her feelings only grew stronger when they landed in Nashville, she couldn't believe that her best friend would book them a trip to Nashville. I mean no of her other friends or boyfriends for that matter would ever do this for her.                  Maybe that's why she couldn't fall asleep last night and was up till almost four with Val, because she kissed another man and let him touch her. Yet she knew her feelings for Val were strong, she prayed that she'd sort put her feelings before they found themselves back in New York.              She heard Val groan in his sleep which normally meant he would be waking up soon, which was good because the pancakes are almost done. "Shar?" Sharna turned around seeing Val sitting up on the couch rubbing his eyes. "Yes love?" "What are you making?" "Well, I've cut up the rest of the strawberries and bananas and I'm making pancakes" she said watching as he yawned walking towards her in the kitchen.                "Umm... it smells so good in here" Val said walking behind Sharna wrapping his arms tightly against her as he pulled her back into his chest. Sharna smiled as Val kissed her neck "Good i'm glad" she said breaking away from his embrace to flip the last pancake.          She put them on a plate "There ready." She said as she sat the play on the table with the bowls of fruit, Val walked over to his seat grabbing a plate putting some pancakes on it. He took a large bite smiling as he ate it "Its so good babe. Thank you." He said eating a piece of strawberry before taking a lithe bite of his pancake. "Your welcome, V" Two hours later Val pulled into a bike shop, Sharna was extremely confused. He said he had a surprise for her but she definitely wasn't expecting this. "Val why are we here?" She asked confused as to what they were going to do. "We are here, because I wanted to do something really special before we leave tomorrow. The reason I asked you to wear your swimsuit is because we are going to rent us two bicycles for the day because there is a waterfall not too far from here where we can go swimming. I've heard how beautiful it is so I just had to take you." Sharna smiled listening to Val as he spoke "So that's the plan for today." "I'm so excited V, thank you for making this trip so special." She said as the walked into the bike rental store, they picked out their bikes and listened to the instructions before they were allowed to go venture to the waterfall. They now stood off to the side of a dirt road with their bicycles, Val choose a plan black one while Sharna decided to go for a pink one with a woven basket on front to carry the red wine that val had brought with them, along with their towels as well. Val smiled watching as Sharna climbed up into the bicycle before looking over in his direction "This is our last adventure in Nashville." She said looking a little sad that they're trip was coming to and end. "Let's make this the best adventure yet." Val said smiling in her direction "Yes our best adventure!" Sharna said with a huge smile on her face "Let's go!" She said taking off on her bicycle as Val followed her. "V, it's so beautiful here!" Sharna said turning her head to the side to see Val staring back at her. "It is really beautiful here and you only make it that make more beautiful." Sharna rolled her eyes laughing "Val stop it!" Val looked back over at her smirking "What I didn't even do anything." Sharna just giggled as she kept pedaling. About fifteen minutes later Sharna and Val came to an opening where the could hear the sounds of the waterfall but couldn't see it. "Val do you think we are in the right spot?" Sharna asked him as she stood with the bike between her legs and her feet on the ground. "Yea I'm pretty sure this is where it is suppose to be.Let's just walk with our bike until we see it." Sharna nodded following Val into the woods with her bike by side her. They walked for about two minutes until the came to an opening that led them to the most beautiful view they've seen yet in Nashville. "Oh my goodness" Sharna said as she came to a stop to admire the beautiful view that was in front of her. "Val I can't believe you found this place, it's beyond amazing!" She said grabbing her cell phone taking a bunch of photos. "I know it's beyond gorgeous here." He said setting his back against a tree before doing the same exact thing with Sharna's bike. "Let's get in" he said stripping himself down to just his swim trunks. Sharna laughed watching him run into the water before diving under. "Come on Shar!" He yelled loudly to making sure she could hear him over the waterfall. "I'm coming!" She shouted back quickly taking off her dress before running into the water before diving into it just like Val did.             They swam together for a while, splashing one another while laughing. Then they decided to swim underneath the waterfall, so they did. Sharna climbed up onto some rock finding a path the must lead them above the waterfall.            "V, I think I found a path that leads to the top of the waterfall!" Sharna yelled as loudly as she could, Val themed climbed up onto the rock next to Sharna "What did you say?" He questioned not being able to hear her before. "I think this path leads to the top of the waterfall." She said pointing towards the small path "Let's go up!" Val said grabbing her hand leading the way.              They climbed over a few rocks before following the rest of the path which did in fact lead them to the top of the waterfall. "Wow it's so beautiful up here." Sharna said sitting down on the edge of the top of the waterfall, pulling Val to sit down next to her.            "Yes it unbelievably beautiful" he said leaning over pressing a gentle kiss to Sharna's temple. They then sat in silence for a moment enjoy the peacefulness of their  surroundings. Val then stood up grabbing Sharna's hands pulling her up with him "Come on, let's jump together." He said watching as fear came across Sharna face "I don't know about that Val."          "Come Shar, I'm sure people do it all the time." "Do you really think it's safe?" Val nodded yes "Yes I really do and I'll be by your side the whole time." "This can be out last memory together in Nashville!" Val said gripping onto Sharna's hand even tighter "Okay, I'll do it!" Val picked Sharna up spinning her around making her squeal in delight.                 Val stood her back onto the ground as he gripped her hand tightly into his as the stood near the edge of the waterfall "On the count of three..." Val said looking over at Sharna who nodded "Okay" "1...2...3" they shouted together before taking the leap, landing into the natural pool below them, completely submerging themselves.               Val came back up first, shortly before Sharna came back up with a huge smile on her face "We did it!" Val said as Sharna swam over closer to him "I can't believe we did that!" She said throwing her arms tightly around his shoulders "I know but we did and it was amazing!" Val said as his arms wrapped tightly around her waist holding her close to him.               "How about we take a break and drink some red wine and eat some cheese and grapes?" Val asked making Sharna laugh as she nodded her head yes. They swam together till their feet touched the ground, Sharna laid out one of the blankets they brought to sit on while Val popped the bottle of red wine open.             For the next hour and half they drank red wine and ate three different kinds of cheeses and some grapes. They talked about life and dancing with the stars and Maks and Peta's sweet little baby boy Shai.            Val was laying against the tree  with Sharna laying in his lap as he played gently with her hair. "V, I've got a question that I need to ask you." Sharna said looking up at him from his lap, Val looked down into her eyes "Alright go ahead, ask away." He answered back watching as she played with a piece of her hair.            "Why did you do all of this for me? What makes me so different?" She asked leaning into his hand that was on her waist "Because your my best friend Sharna and I seen this as an opportunity to spend a week with my best friend to enjoy a place that neither of us have ever been to. What makes you so different is that fact that it's you, I would only do this for you because I love you Sharna." Sharna up looking him in the eyes "You love me?" Val nodded leaning his head against hers.                "Of course I love you Sharna, I have for years and I always will." Sharna didn't know what to say, she wanted so badly to lean in and kiss him like she has wanted to do for years but she couldn't do that.           She smiled leaning over pressing her lis to his cheek "Can we jump of the waterfall one more time? Together?" She asked looking val in the eyes watching as he nodded yes. "Race you!" She shouted taking off into the natural pool swimming as fast as she could underneath the waterfall. She climbed up into the rock noticing the val wasn't to far behind her.           Sharna reached the top first smiling as Val made it up shortly after her "Ha! I beat you!" She said giggling as Val ran over to her tickling her sides making her burst with laughter. A few moments later Val held out his hand for Sharna to take, "3...2...1" they said this time before running and jumping off of the top of the waterfall landing into the natural pool below them.              Sharna was the first one to come up from the water this time laughing as she did so, Val followed a moment after her laughing dad well. Sharna wrapped her legs tightly around Val's hips "Val, I love you too."         She said kissing his lips gently, Val smiled before kissing her back with more force gently pushing his tongue into her mouth making her moan with pleasure. He pulled back a minute later with his forehead pressed up against hers "I love you Sharna May Burgess." Sharna smiled kissing Val again "I love you too Valentin Aleksandrovich Chmerkovskiy." She said before he leaned up capturing her lips again making her smile into the kiss.              This was everything that the both of them could have ever dreamed of. Sharna was so happy that she was finally able to tell Val that she was in love with him. The Chmerkovskiy’s (Part 11)

“Hi Baby.” He whispered in her ear as he took the seat beside her.

Everyone had dwindled out of the dinner one by one and now Sharna was sitting in the corner looking down at her phone, reading all the congratulation posts from their friends as well as the tweets from all their fans. She put her hand on his leg and looked at him, “Hi, Love” She tilted her head up so he would kiss her. She held up her hand so he would see it.

“We’re engaged!!”

He pressed a kiss to her shoulder, “You like it?”

“Do I like it?!?!?” She looked at him, I love it. It’s just so sparkly.”

“It’s all the things.”

“Yes it is.” She went in to kiss him again but Peta interrupted them.

“Sorry, Guys.” She interjected.

Val turned his head to her, “Peta, you kill me sometimes, you really do.”

“Oh please, you’ll have plenty of that tonight. We need to get a picture of you two.”

Sharna laughed and pulled Val’s hand with her as she got up and walked in front of the brick wall where Peta had led them to. She put her hand on his chest as they looked at the camera. He looked down at her admiring her, as Peta and Maks snapped the next picture.

“You know I love you, right?”

Sharna looked up and scrunched her nose, “I think I have some idea.”

Later that night, Val sat in the bed on his phone as she got changed in the bathroom. She walked around the bed to get in on her side as she looked at her ring again, “I don’t want to take it off.”

“You get to wear it forever, babe.”

She climbed into bed and rested her head in his shoulder looking at what he was doing on his phone. He had made an instagram post of his own. It was a collection of photos beginning with one that someone captured when they kissed for the first time at Maks and Peta’s wedding, and ending with him down on one knee. He read the caption out-loud as he typed it,

“Fell in love with this one faster than I knew was possible. 2 years later, I got down on one knee and asked her the question I wanted to ask her since we met. Will you Marry Me? And guess what? She said YES. Love you to the moon and back @sharnaburgess and now you’re mine forever.” He added some emojis and then hit post.

“I want to make one! Pass me my phone.” Sharna opened instagram and selected her favorite photo of the night. The photo they had took at the restaurant with him looking down at her. She captioned it, “I said Yes to the man of my dreams tonight. @iamvalc  you make me the happiest woman alive and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I’ll love you forever Mr. Chmerkovskiy.”

The two of them watched as comments poured in from their family, friends, and fans on each of their posts. They read them aloud to each other alternating:

“@alanbersten: thank god you two finally figured out what we’ve known for a century.”

“@petamurgatroyd: my brother and sister in lawwww.”

“@lauriehernandez: oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Called it!! Love you guys. Congrats.”

“@hinchtown: you better take care of her!! She is all the things and this is Smoney.”

“@antoniobrown: Amazing brotha. Congrats to you and the gorgeous girl.”

“@emmaslaterdance: My heart can’t handle this! Love you both”

“@rumerwillis: this is amazing. Congrats.”

“@maksimc: welcome to the family, Sharna.”

They fell asleep reading comments and woke up the next morning cuddled with each other as the light streamed in the window. Val chuckled and said sarcastically, “Wow, quite the engagement night.” 

She laughed as she grabbed the nearest pillow and put it over her face shielding from the light, “How in the world did we fall asleep?”

“Who knows. But I do know what I want now.” He rolled over pushing the pillow off of her and replacing it with his lips on hers.

“This is going to wish the day away.” She murmured as she kissed him.

“And?”

“I don’t know.”

“Good.”

A little while after Val laid in bed staring up at the ceiling and Sharna had her arm draped over him and was resting her head on his chest. It was obvious that he was thinking and that his mind was wandering.

“I want to get married.” He said into the open.

“We are getting married. Remember? You proposed last night.” She laughed, patting him on the chest.

“No, I mean, like- get married now. I don’t want to wait.”

She tilted her head to look at him, “What?”

“Let’s get married today.”

“Today?”

“I mean it, let’s throw on a suit and a dress and go get married.”

“What about our family and friends?”

“Pictures. Videos. I just want you to be my wife, Shar.”

After thinking about it for a minute she grinned, “Ok.”

“Ok?”

“Yea, let’s do it. Let’s go get married.”

About 2 hours later, Val was in their room tying is bowtie in the mirror. He had worn a white shirt with a black suit and black bowtie. He moved to the dresser to spray his cologne when he heard her behind him, “Val.”

He turned around and saw her standing there in a short white dress. It was slim, but frilled out down at her waist and ended about halfway down her thigh. It was made up of different lace patterns. “You look-” The words left him, all he could do was look at her.

“Stopp.” She smiled as she moved to her closet to get shoes. “This is crazy, you know that right?”

“I know that by tonight, you’ll be my wife. And that’s not crazy to me.” He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, pressing a kiss into her neck. “Let’s go get married.” He whispered lightly.

Sharna nodded as she looked down at herself one more time and followed him out of their bedroom.

After locking up the car they walked down their front path to Val’s car, but he stopped halfway. She watched him as he bent down and pulled a few flowers from their hydrangea bush, “Flowers for my bride.”

They drove to the courthouse, got out took a selfie in front of the building and then walked in together. At the front desk, they requested their necessary forms to fill out while they were waiting for the judge. “Ahh. More love birds today. How long have you two been engaged?” The receptionist tried to make conversation as she typed in the computer.

Sharna chuckled, “A little bit less than a day.”

The woman looked up at them and smiled, “You gotta love love.”

Val grabbed Sharna’s hand, “yes, you do.”

“Now, do you two have witnesses?”

“Witnesses?” Val asked.

“Yes, you both need to have someone stand with you and sign for your marriage.”

Sharna looked at Val, “Maks and Peta?”

“I don’t want to tell them now.”

The receptionist spoke to them again, “You two can go take a minute to figure it out if you’d like.”

“Thank you.” Sharna grabbed Val’s hand and they walked away from the desk, “Babe, is this the right thing to do?”

“What do you mean?”

They were cut off my a couple leaving a room, now married. There were people with them and people were cheering. Val and Sharna looked on at the happy couple. She looked up at him again, “I mean, that maybe this is out of impulse. We’re here alone and we’re getting married. Don’t we want our families with us?”

“You don’t want to-”

“Babe, it’s not that I don’t want to. I want everything with you.” She moved her hands to his waist, “I love you so much. But maybe this whole thing is trying to tell us something. I know you want to be married, I do too. But in my heart, we already are. We live together, I wear the diamond ring that you gave me. And baby, believe me I am so ready to take your name and call you my husband, but a few months is not going to change how I feel.”

“Ok.” He said in the same fashion she had answered him this morning.

“Ok?”

“Let’s plan a wedding.”
