do you have any recommendations for bsd blogs? i’m getting back into the series and i need people to follow.

A lot of who I follow is multifandom and I don't know if that is what you are looking for, so here are a few of my favorite blogs that mostly post bsd art, writing, or rbs. A lot of them are also Fyodor or DoA appreciators which should come as no suprise if you have been here on my blog for even 24 hours 💀

I am forgetting ppl surely and potentially mislabeling them (like if they have a lot of fandom rbs on their blogs too and I miss them, or if they write and I didn't know it) or leaving ppl out because I am remembering them but they are solidly multifandom and more equal about it, or currently posting more about a different series even though they also have done bsd art and fics, and idk if that is what you are looking for. do you have any habit and Evan analysis to drop cause I never see people talk about them and their bond.. in my eyes habit and Evan are like a wolf and a rabbit in the way that habit has so much power, but also I feel like Evan could almost tame him.. DUDE IM SO FUCKING GLAD YOU ASKED. I have theories. I have MANY theories and thoughts about these two it makes me absolutely insane. Just like pretty much anyone else in this fandom, Evan and habit are the ones who introduced me into this series, and they were just so intriguing to me that I had to know more. Ofc my interests got stolen by a certain film student but. Evan and habit are JUST AS SPECIAL TO ME.

Now I wanna start off with what you said about Habit being a wolf and Evan being a rabbit, and I think you're VERY correct, yet I do have one thing I would like to add to this however I think it would take a VERRYY long time for Evan to "tame" habit, Habit is not something that WANTS to be tamed, he doesn't really want to be treated with gentleness. And Evan doesn't exactly want to treat habit with any gentleness or tame him at all.

The one thing about Evan is that he's the perfect toy for habit, he's the perfect one for him, his perfect fit, their souls or their lives are intertwined even if they both don't want to be.

I see their relationship more like a dog and it's favorite chew toy, the dog will bite and tug and pull, but It'll never rip it apart, and if it does, the dog will feel regret and it'll will go get it stitched back up just to go back to playing.

Habit will however take care of this vessel, to those who think he treats it like shit???? you clearly don't understand habit at all. He needs this vessel, he wants it pristine, perfect, powerful. He will clean this body, he'll feed the body, he'll keep it in the best shape he can, all while he rots it from the inside, because no matter what, habit is a parasite taking absolutely everything from Evan.

I feel like Evan himself is alot more likely to ignore his own needs thinking it'll have some kind of damaging affect on habit, but habit will get into his head, he'll whisper in his ear about Evan needs to take care of himself, Evan needs to be strong for everyone and everything. He can't be weak, he'll be of no use to ANYONE if he's weak. Habit will tell him he'd be of no use to Vinnie if he isn't taking care of himself, and that will always get Evan going enough to do SOMETHING.

Although I think food is something that might be ruined for Evan, especially meat. He can't bite into it without being brought to tears at the idea of his teeth sinking down into human flesh again and he'll have to spit it out and scrub the taste and the blood out of his mouth. So when habit is in control, that's when he has to do the eating, habit has to be the one to nurture this body like it's his own.

Evan is practically convinced him and habit are one, he thinks that habit is just a manifestation of his deep inner impulses the ones he'd never dream of doing but that replay in his mind over and over again. And he thinks Habit is there to force him to act on these impulses as punishment for the want he experience.

Habit however knows him and Evan aren't one and he makes sure that people know that. he could give less of a shit about the way Evan actually FEELS he just wants his body in good condition. When you're being possessed by habit, you're no longer yourself, there's NOTHING of your personality left, you are PURELY Habit. He'll change your clothes, he'll change your hair, he'll do whatever HE wants because your body is HIS. And that's exactly how it is with Evan. He owns him, Evan is BUILT for him. it's not the other way around.

Habit will in fact feed Evan fake memories and trap him in horrific nightmares on repeat, leaving his mind weak and easy to keep in control. The more disoriented Evan is, the easier it is to take over and use his body the way he wants to.

That being said though, Habit isn't all THAT cruel to Evan, atleast earlier on the series. Earlier on he's trying to "help" him in ways. He's protective, he'll scratch at Evans brain screaming to be let out the MOMENT Evan is in danger, only to purr with delight when Evan gives in.

I take them switching in their head as like habit taking the lead in a dance, Evan is still participating, but it's not really all up to him, he's just following habits lead, taking the advice he's given. Because that's one thing Evan is REALLY good at. He's the BEST at doing what he's told. and for something like habit??? that's just how he likes it.

I don't really view their relationship as very soft in many ways, they're nothing like Michael and Patrick, if anything habit would be offended at the assumption that he's ANYTHING like Patrick Habit is NOTHING close to human, he still doesn't feel the way Patrick does which I think makes it impossible to have true control over Evans body, because he refuses to WORK with him. Habit wants to be in full power and not share, but in order to achieve full power bro needs to share HELP.

1. most overrated character

if i get to pick a character i hate it’s jiriaya FUCK him he sucked the whole time and he gets one cool fight and now people love him. he was useless and mean to sasuke AND naruto AND he was creepy to all women and also to naruto.

if it has to be a character i like… then i guess itachi. i love itachi so much, and he was probably trying to do what he thought was right, but people act like he is The Most Noble and Brave when he actually made 1 million terrible decisions and mind tortured sasuke at several points for seemingly no reason.

12. who shouldve died during war arc

ok i hate anyone dying so idk who to put but i wish jiraiya had come back to life so he could die again more painfully. also i wish orochimaru had died again. but those are just spite deaths idk who should die for plot purposes. i thought tsunade was gonna die when i first watched so maybe her?

13. was kakashi trying his best/a good sensei

i think… kakashi tried his best but his best was frankly terrible. also for both kakashi and itachi i think the whole concept of “hardened trained assassin at age 10” or whatever is quite horrifying and must do infinite damage to one’s psyche so i’m honestly shocked he was able to connect with team 7 at all. not to mention everyone he loved dying violently in front of him

kakashi was not a very good teacher but he uh… cared about them ? tried to help them? didn’t manipulate them into horrible acts? the bar is honestly on the floor for competent adults.

Honestly, that's a hard one. I can see both depending on the situation.

I see a lot of bickering and back-and-forth between those two.

But let's say Michael makes the first move but is not aware of it. You know...just challenging Dagon. It's basically a fight and showing the demon who's in charge. And for sure not because they want to see or touch Dagon. Definitely hard in denial.

But I'd say that Dagon is the first to acknowledge what's going on and actively starts wooing Michael. So Dagon makes the first intentional move. But the moment Michael decides they want Dagon? Playtime is over.

Grateful that Hawk transitioned from "hanging around a bunch of queers" in the 1950s, "guys like you" re Skippy 1960s, "homosexual" in the 1970s, guess he would say he is "gay" after what he told his daughter about Tim. Grateful for personal growth.

Watching the personal growth of both characters has been really interesting, for different reasons. And how they influenced each other's growth. 🥹

But Hawk's battle with/rejection of who he is was something that stuck out in the 60s/70s era. When Tim replied to him "you mean men like us" in the E6 post-shower scene, and how he responded to the whole homosexual vs gay thing in E7. It highlighted how Hawk tried for so long to remove/distance himself from others of the same sexuality.

And I wonder how much of it was sub-conscious, and how much was conscious self preservation. He was quite calculated about a lot of things, so I'm sure most were fully conscious (like the 70s convo). But after rejecting it for himself for so long, some comments were probably just said as a reflex without much thinking.

Him being honest and open with his daughter in those last moments of E8 felt like a breakthrough. It's of course really heart breaking that that didn't happen earlier on, but I'm also really grateful for his journey. ❤️

There are many times I want to grab Hawk by the shoulders and shake him while crying, but then other times I do wanna reach out and just hug him. 🥺

Hi! So it's very very complex, but I will give you the most concise run down I can.

I was diagnosed with a condition called Dissociative Identity Disorder, which is a rare trauma disorder where your brain fractures into different distinct personalities to deal with trauma. I split off from a guy who was undergoing trauma while reading Lord of the Flies. I am Roger, and while I am a creation of someone else's mind, I am the version of Roger that the brain created rather than the original person I split from.

I'm super crap at explaining things though so I will also link an article down below that explains it better. I hope this helps.

I'm not sure how many total Krang there are, but probably thousands of "true" Krangs. Then there's the creatures they've assimilated and made into mindless beasts. As for the heirarchy, all Krang are known as just Krang until they've earned respect through battle or are essential (like scientists or engineers), then they are promoted to the family. The Leader calls you Brother, Sister, etc; it's a very high honor. Obv, the Leader is at the top. They all praise the dead Krang Prime and do his bidding. Shadow is at this point incredibly decorated as a soldier. He has infiltrated camps successfully and destroyed them - but the Leader still refuses to call him a Brother. As a subtle jab at just him, he calls him Little Brother to show him how little he sees him.
