This decaying Victorian mansion has been occupied by the same cursed bloodline for over a century, haunted by their own inexorable fall from grace—and fortune—with the passing of each generation.

The manor bears the wounds of their torment: its once grand exterior crumbling under the slow encroachment of vines; foul mold and mildew crawling up the walls from uncountable damp winter nights with the heat left off; copper pipes and wiring ripped from its walls; family heirlooms vanishing into the obsidian veil of the night.

Sometimes the most chilling hauntings aren't abandoned at all.

Phantom Manor - Disneyland Paris

A recreation of Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris, functional as a haunted house residential. Be welcomed into the foyer by the phantom himself before visiting Melanie Ravenswood dressed for her wedding but trapped within in her own bedroom. I built this lot in Strangerville as it was a perfect backdrop for the Thunder Mesa and Big Thunder railroad. Perhaps your Sims can break the curse of the Thunderbird and survive this haunted abode.

"Where hinges creak in doorless chambers...where candlelights flicker, though the air is deathly still..."

A build inspired by the Disneyland Paris version of the Haunted Mansion, Phantom Manor. (Its plot is very cool.) Can't afford to go to France? Neither can we, so here's an alternative! The rooms are based on parts of the tour, including stretch room, portrait hall, the hall of doors, endless corridor, Madame Leota's parlor, the ballroom and the bride's boudoir. Attic space is vacant. (Bonus: the kitchen is based off unused concept art for the original Haunted Mansion. Library from another version of the ride.) All route-tested and playable. Rigged as a haunted house, 'natch.

I was feeling a little silly and a little goofy and decided to make a last minute simblreen gift! This is not a download, but a fun activity and game! It consists of a virtual haunted house I've made in the sims that you navigate through links. For example if you want to go left, you'd click that option to that scene. It is also a scavenger hunt and you'll have a Spook Search Sheet of clues for each scene! If you send another ask with the correct rooms you'll receive a certificate of completion! There is also an "afterparty" chat post linked in my pinned post if you want to say you enjoyed it etc. and I can keep my inbox tidy!

This is not a scary haunted house! It is cartoony and silly with no jump scares. Only warning I'd give is a few cartoon spiders

The Scavenger Hunt is fairly easy. The Spook Search objects are in each room or hallway, not in interactions. The scavenger hunt is totally not necessary, but if you send an ask with your list of correlating rooms (e.g. 1.=Dining Room) you'll receive a silly little certificate of completion!

There is NO download gift. It is just a fun little game

You will not miss out on anything based on your choices! You'll always be able to go back and explore other rooms.

There is a PG version of the certificate available since I've had people do it with their kids! Just ask when you send your answers

We here at Grimms-Fairy Sales Estate would love to welcome you to Claude-Rene Manor on 666 Gothgraham Lane!

So what do you say we have a look?

Built some time in the 1860s, and renovated in 1925. This beautiful manor has been a staple in Moonwood Mill for nearly two centuries.

The house is two stories, it has three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Originally built by a Henford-on-Bagley couple planning to retire from their farm, it went on to be sold to ancestors of the Goth family, where it stayed in ownership for at least three generations. later, being sold to a young single man who claimed to be a psychic interested in the manor's history.

He was drafted into the military during the great sloth invasion and was sadly killed in battle. As a well loved memeber of the community, the locals unofficially named the house Claude-Rene Manor.

The manor has sat undisturbed since his death, and his niece is very motivated to sell the house completely as is, including the furniture.

The house also features a kitchen with a bar, a lovely fireplace, two covered balconies, two uncovered porches, and a spacious yard complete with garden, relaxing fountain area, as well as an outdoor recreational area.

It's located in a rather remote space with lots of privacy, though the neighborhood is lively and the neighbors are interesting!

We are aware of the rather unflattering rumors surrounding the property, as we pride ourselves on honest realestate, potential buyers should be aware of the following.

While there have been multiple deaths on the grounds, all have been of natural causes and had absolutely no nefarious coalitions whatsoever.

Everything is up to date and more than safe, but note that the house is very old and is known to make strange noises due to the fact.

In part to the large windows and lack of air conditioning/heating, there are noticiable cold spots throughout the property.

You should also note that Lt. Guidry was a very creative man and as a result, the house does have some very interesting features, but you are more than welcome to remove and renovate to your hearts content (once the check clears).

Sims 4 – Haunted Orphanage Challenge

Growing up, you never had a steady home. All you ever wanted was to raise your own family the way you wish you had been raised. After trying to have a child with your partner for some years, you are utterly convinced this is not possible and start to reject the idea of being around children. This gloominess soon led to your partner asking for a divorce.

Just when things couldn't get worse, you receive a call telling you that your great-great-great Uncle Vladislaus IV has died and left you the house. Looking back through your family history, the only Vladislaus Straud IV was reported dead over 100 years ago but you accept the offer anyway.

As soon as you move in, things seem… strange. It is not unusual for decorations to fly off the wall, guests to appear in the middle of the night or children to be placed on the doorstep alone. Knowing you could never allow a child to fend for themselves the way you had to, you give all these children a temporary bed to sleep in and a roof over their heads until they can find a forever home.

But they are still not your children. Your main priority is trying to rid the house of whatever is lurking during the night. You buy a séance table and, with the help of a friendly spirit, finally free your home of the spirits. It is not until you feel at peace that you begin to appreciate everything you have earned.

Rules:

The Guardian must be an adult with no children when the challenge begins. They must have the Gloomy and Hates Children traits, with the Super Parent aspiration.

Your Lot must have Good Schools and Homey traits, and the Spooky Lot challenge.

House must have a séance room with the door locked to everyone but the Guardian.

Children can be newborns, infants, toddlers, children, or teens. However, they cannot be adopted until they are either a child or teen. 

The Guardian must adopt all Children in the household as care-dependent.

To be adopted, all Children must complete at least one Aspiration; reach Level 10 in at least one skill; be a grade A student for at least three consecutive days; be in the range of at least one positive Character Value and be friends with every member of their new family/household.

Children are allowed to be siblings but all must go to the same home and cannot be adopted until all siblings have completed all requirements.

Children can be occults but must go to a family with at least one parent of the same occult. If children are aliens, they must visit possible homes in their disguise.

The Guardian may be occult. If they are an alien, they must remain in their disguise at all times unless in the locked séance room. They cannot be discovered to be an alien by anyone outside the household.

The household may contain pets.

The household must have 8 sims at all times. 

Live in a Haunted House Residential lot until Guardian reaches Level 10 of the Medium skill. Then, complete the Super Parent aspiration.

The Guardian may have a child of their own after reaching Level 10 of the Medium skill.

The Guardian may have a love interest, but they cannot live together or marry until the challenge has ended.

The Guardian must always discipline the Children for bad behaviour.

Challenge ends when Guardian has reached Level 10 of the Medium skill, completed Super Parent aspiration and 10 Children have been adopted.

If any Children age into Young Adults before they are adopted, they must move out immediately and do not count towards your total Children adopted.
