The build tour part ended up way longer than I wanted it to be because I cannot shut the fuck up but I included time stamps so you could just jump straight to the apartment renovation if you want...

Barty Jenkins has been living in the groundfloor apartment of Honeydew Houses for many years. As the caretaker, he's doing small repairs around the house, keeping the shared spaces in good shape and helping out the other tenants. He's friendly and attentive and therefore quite popular with the neighbours, and he's always willing to listen if they have any problems or just need someone to talk. Still most of the time he's rather keeping to himself, and actually, he never really talks about his own life and past. It seems he doesn't have any family, except for his cat Pippa. But maybe the other tenants don't know him as well as they think?

Known issues For some reasons sims can't seem to take dirty dishes from the dining table after they finished eating, so you might have to drag them over to one of the kitchen counters manually for your sims to be able to wash them. Also my sim couldn't use the Cottage Living wardrobe with the mirror attached to it because there apparently wasn't enough space, so I placed a wall-mounted mirror from basegame atop of it. Which doesn't look ideal, but at least there's a functional mirror now and I still could keep this wardrobe because I really liked how it looked in this space. Sorry for these inconveniences, everything else should work fine though!

I feel like I have the sim versions of The Boys properly tweaked, including Terror. I want to put them in San Myshuno because that's the TS4 neighborhood that most closely resembles NYC. They don't really live together by the beginning of season 3, but I always treat the game like an AU, so it's fine. I just need to decide which apartment to put them in, or maybe some reno of the Old Salthouse.

Once I'm done situating them, I'm going to add Harry Ballard as a spellcaster in the teaching career. He'll have all the Mischief and Untamed spells. He will spread misery. Maybe his girl Benny will be there.

1020 Alto Apartments Reno

Description:

To reflect how Diego Lobo has the Snob trait and is supposed to be a really critical figure in the arts world, I went with a sleek and sophisticated décor style and a monochromatic colour scheme for his apartment.

 In light with Diego’s Art Lover trait, I also threw in lots of paintings and sculptures everywhere.

 For the “public” areas of the apartment, I kept the original layout but turned up the luxe factor in the décor.

 For the “private” areas of the apartment, I turned the original bedroom into a home gym/study/studio. What originally looked like a randomly furnished room at the end of the apartment is now a large and more private bedroom for Diego.

At Spring Steppes in Britechester, an all pink bakery/ café with an apartment on top 🎀🫖💐🥐🍰💗 can either be set as a café or as a shop (even though running one in the Sims is so annoying lol) so you can live upstairs & keep the clients from entering the bakery’s kitchen and apartment when it’s open.

Here’s a fun little update of Katrina’s kitchen. It wasn’t actually going to be done, but I couldn’t help myself. I had hoped she would be out of the apartment and moved into something bigger and more worthy of her celebrity status before I had the itch, but it has taken a little longer than I expected.

(If I’m honest, I’m excited about it taking longer than anticipated to become a celebrity. I’ve been hoping for a bit of a time consuming struggle in ts4 for a while now, and it seems there are more gameplay elements returning to the genre lately. I am very happy about this, so thank you for that!)
