I have no idea when I'll get around to finishing the next chapter, because I have another exciting sims related project I want to do first, (just waiting on beta feedback to do last edits and then start on sets and pictures) but at least now all of 1997 is dooone. There were a lot of things happening, Cassandra's failed wedding, Mortimer dying, Goth surprise baby and I guess one or two things going on outside of the Goth family too. There is a lot of fun things planned for all of these sims and we get another year closer to adding Veronaville, which will be exciting.

With Lucy's prom coming soon, she needed to take care of her outfit.

Lucy: Dad, can I buy a new dress for my prom?

John: Sure, honey, but don't expect me to help you with selection!

If Lucy needed a fashion advice a few years ago, obviously she would ask her mother, but now, that was totally out of question.

...so she turned to Nina.

Ultimately, Lucy chose a red dress with uneven hemline, very similar to the one Jennifer bought a few years ago.

Lucy may hate her mother, but she can't deny she is her daughter.

Breton Dynasty. Introduction

The land of Montlantia. What came before it? What will be after? Only the Watcher knew. In the meantime, Montlantia was an empty area covered with concrete. Occasionally, people would settle here, but they would leave quickly enough. Something was going on here. not mystical, but not good. Sooner or later the newcomers began to realize that someone was keeping the towns lights and gas on, someone was mowing the lawns, and someone was keeping the machinery in order. The local stores had no clerks, but they had serviceable terminals. Life had not yet left Montlantia. Though it seemed to everyone who left, as if something terrible would happen in their absence and the country would be gone. Everything ends one day.

Everything ends one day, but Montlantia lives!" sang a cheerful boy of thirteen as he got out of the car. He was glad that he and his grandfather had sold their run-down house and moved here, to this mysterious land. Victor Amont, the scientist, had made a lot of trouble at his old place of work, but no one would bother them here. Monlanthia hospitably opens the electronic gates to those who wish, but in front of their pursuers is inexorable. That's what Sean's grandfather told him, anyway. Admiring the neatly mowed lawn and brightly colored flowers, Sean stopped. He looked around with pleasure. They would live in this wonderful house, and no one would stop his grandfather from making new discoveries and his grandson from learning.

The boy's thoughts were interrupted by an eerie and subtle singing. It was simultaneously beckoning and enticing. Sean was more frightened than impressed. Meanwhile, a gray-haired, wrinkled old man walked around the house and returned to the open gate.

Where are you, fidgety? - He asked tiredly. Sean found himself in the bushes. Covering his mouth with his palm, he looked at the beds of fragrant roses with wide-open eyes and pointed to the same place.

Shut up, don't say anything, - the scientist sternly advised. - I know more about this city than you do! They get rid of adult talkers here, and isolate minors.

W-what?

What I heard. Go inside. But Sean looked back in confusion. He thought he heard a girl laughing from behind a tall fence on the other side of the street.

Just sharing some of my favorite shots from my new machinima I uploaded a few days ago. I would love if you checked it out! It took me over a month to film and edit it, and I also did the voiceovers and composed the music myself. It involves a mysterious lab, a down-on-her-luck firefighter, and a cowplant as an ancient-eldritch-god-type horror. My inspiration included: Jeff Vandermeer books, David Lynch, the Alien movies, Resident Evil, and this lot by Zarathustra. Watch it here! It's ep 11 of season 2 of my story series, there's a very brief summary under the cut if you are intrigued and want to watch but don't know the plot. And let me know what you think! :)

basic plot summary: my terrible sim Nolan is level 10 of the ecological guru career. His butler called the fire department for no reason in episode 10, and the firefighter Opal Jalowitz yelled at Nolan and fined him when she arrived to no fire. Then he rolled the want to drink her. I've never had a cowplant before and wanted to take advantage of this horrible want. He enlists the help of his longtime frenemy Blanche the evil witch, and promises to pay her 10 grand which she desperately needs. This episode follows Opal the firefighter as Nolan and Blanche's plan unfolds. Nolan's wife who is having an affair with his super buff bodyguard also makes a brief appearance. Hope you enjoy!

Poppycock Progeny 29 - Juno

Juno was just plain happy when he moved into his new house Downtown. He said "hi!" to everyone. Even asked Donte Shaw to move in after chatting once. I was surprised he said yes. Juno couldn't find his LTW job in the list so he took up one in Paranormal.

He got a promo the first night - came home to see the mess Brittany Westland left for him. He never even met her yet and she's making messes on him. A couple nights later, he got another promo. Now, he and Donte have to skill up before anymore promotions happen. I didn't finish the week because it was dinner time and I was a hungry girl.
